Chapter 74

"Fun?" Garrett was surprised, how can she be having fun at work, his friend was saying nonsense.



"Yes." He sips his wine.



"How?" Garrett asked curiously.



"Hey, Carlos!" Gabby called out. "Come join us, come on." She waved him over.



"I'm coming." Carlos smiles and drops down his wine glass. He looked at Garrett. "I better go now, can't keep my princess waiting." He smiles. "Let's go have fun, Garrett." He said seriously.



"Okay." Garrett knew that topic had ended there, so he dropped his wine glass and dive into the pool.



Splash!



Gabby laughs. "Gosh!" She splashed them water. "That was a great splash!"



"Catch!" Eric threw the ball to Carlos as he caught it.



"Gabby I guess you should chase." Blake smile.



"Hey! That's unfair." Gabby pout.



Carlos threw the ball to Garrett. "Don't tell me you want to back out without a trial." Garrett wink her and moved back with the ball.



This was a challenge to Gabby and she smirked. "Try me then." She moves to get the ball from him but she threw it to Blake. "No...no.." Blake threw the ball to Eric.



"Should we give you a head start?" Eric asked her with a cunning smile on his lips.



"Oh come on." She hits the water with her two hands and there was a splash. She moves to take the ball from Eric but he threw it to Carlos.



"Carlos I'm your sister, hand it over." She stretched her hands showing him her white well-arranged set of teeth.



"That's right." Carlos smile and stretched the ball out for her. "Come get it." He said softly as she swims over to take it but he threw it to Garrett. "Oh, sorry kid sister." He sticks out his tongue.



"Hey, you're so childish." She frowns. "Remember, I do paybacks." They all chuckled as she went after the ball agitated.



After a long play in the pool, they all came out and lay on the pool chair, sipping their wine.



"I miss Triffany already," Gabby said softly, she knew if she was here, then her brother will become much of a talker and she gets to watch their dramas.



"Me too," Eric added, but Carlos pretends not to be listening to them.



"It would have been more fun to have her around." Blake sips his wine.



Gabby looked at the time. "Shouldn't she be getting back now?"



Carlos subconsciously looked at his wristwatch and frown. "Can we please talk about something else?" They all turned their head to him.



"Don't you miss her?" Garrett asked.



"Oh my!" Carlos glare at all of them. "Why should I? She would be back soon and I saw her last night, so why should I miss her? Huh!"



"He's got a point," Eric muttered.



"No, he doesn't!" Gabby sighed, her brother always act like a convincing jerk.



Carlos scoffed as he turned to his sister. "Gabby you should get a friend soon. Female ones I mean." He demonstrated with his finger.



Gabby rolled her eyes. "Please don't start with that now."



"Then do the same." Carlos retorts. Gabby glare at him, while he smiles, knowing that he had just won this round.



"Why don't we play a game?" Blake suggested stopping their bickering.



"Good idea." Carlos smile.



"I'm in." Garrett raised his hands.



"I'm in too," Eric added.



"What type of game is that?" Gabby asked and they all laugh at her. "What!" She furrowed her brow.



"Poor thing." Carlos shook his head, with a thin smile on his lips.



Gabby rolled her eyes, she knew they were making fun of her now, but who cares. "I'm in." They all chuckled.



"Gabby It's truth or dare," Blake told her the game. "If you can't dare, they will have to drink." He smiles.



Just then they heard footsteps and they all turned their head to see who it was. "Triffany!" Gabby smiled broadly as she had just won a trophy.



"Triffany." Gabby smiled as if she had just won a trophy and went close to her. "Welcome."



"Thanks." Triffany smile back. Carlos stares at her as the others did. "Seems there's a little party going on here." She looked around the poolside.



"Yes. Carlos decided it." Gabby said and turned to Carlos.



"He's the host!" Eric said out loud and Triffany face Carlos but he looked away, sipping his wine indifferently.



"Carlos invite her over too. She's back." Garrett told him.



Triffany shook her head. "I should probably leave you all to enjoy yourself."



Gabby exhale softly. "What are you saying, dear. We miss you so dearly." Gabby held her hands, staring right at her face.



"We're happy you're back, so join us," Blake added. They all turned to Carlos, waiting for him to say something too.



Carlos saw his friends giving him that come-on-man expression. "Since you're back, feel free to join us." He told her and everyone beams.



"It's a pool party, so go change and come back." Gabby who was the happiest among them told her.



"Alright." Triffany walked into the mansion as Carlos glance at her, then turn back to his friends.



"We should wait for her to come down before we play the game," Eric said.



"I will go get some beer from the fridge," Eric said and got up to go into the mansion.



"I will go!" Carlos put his glass down and got up immediately as all eyes were on him surprised.



Gabby looked at him suspiciously. "Since when did you willingly start volunteering to get us beers or drinks?"



Carlos looked at all of them, they were so curious and with that expression. "Can't I?"



Garrett shrugged and leans back in his chair. "It's a surprise, that's all."



Carlos rolled his eyes and sit back on his chair. "Okay, Eric you can go." Carlos took up his glass and lifts to his lips as Eric went into the mansion to get the beer.



Carlos kept looking at the doorway, waiting for Eric or Triffany to be out soon, and he breathes a sigh of relief when he saw Eric out with the beer.



Eric set the drinks on the table next to his friends. "This should be enough," Blake told him and Eric sat down with them.



Triffany came out wearing a bikini and a small jacket as all eyes turned red to her. Carlos who was about to sip his wine paused. He looked down at her straight sexy legs as she stood there with a smile.



"You're here." Gabby smiled she was so excited that she won't be the only lady at this party after all and this will go give her the chance to play her cards well.



"Find a place to sit," Blake told her as Carlos looked at all his friends, no doubt they were also staring down at her exposed skin.



"Hey!" He called out to Triffany before she can sit.



"What's wrong Carlos?" Garrett asked, turning his eyes to him.



"Why are you dressed like that?" He asks Triffany as the rest looked at his surprise, he was saying nonsense.
