Chapter 135

Carlos put his hand into his pocket and brought out his phone as he dialed a number and place the phone on his ear. "Eric, what are you doing? Come take this wildfire out of here." He said and ended the phone.

Gabby's jaw dropped and she glared at her brother. "Now i am a wildfire!" She said in a loud voice. "You are just so unbelievable!"

Carlos was silent while Gabby continued to blurt words out form her mouth as Eric came over. "Take her with you, somewhere far from this hospital." Carlos waved his hands.

"You are really not a considerate brother!" Gabby shouted and Carlos just closed his eyes. "Don't touch me Elvis!" She barked at Elvis and walked out of the hospital.

"Carlos, you seriously need to rest." Eric told him and Carlos open his eyes.

"It is my fault she is like this now, I have to stay by her side until she is awake." He told Eric and looked at the room door where Triffany lay.

"Cheer up Carlos." Elvis said and walked away, he knew that once Carlos say something, there was no way to change his decision.

Carlos closed his eyes again, but quickly open them when he realize he was not alone, he turn his eyes to the door and saw a tall man standing by the door with his hands in his pocket and looking at Triffany through the glass door.

"Where did this happened to her?" The man asked icily and turned to look at Carlos who has no stood up.

"Tommy Maxwell!" Carlos jaw dropped.

"Tommy Maxwell!" Carlos looked at him and squinted. Tommy seems to have lost some weight and he look more like a supermodel.

"I thought this would be a friendly get back, I came over and heard this had happen to Triffany, what really happened Carlos?" Tommy was not smiling, he was so serious and look like he could kill the person who had done this to her.

"Let’s have a drink, I will fill you in on it all." Carlos told him and walk away, after putting a nurse in charge of Triffany, Tommy glance at Triffany before leaving 5he hospital with Carlos.

The sat down in a wine bar close to the hospital and two glass of wine was poured to their glass as Carlos filled Tommy in on everything.

He had been in contact with Tommy for a while after Tommy had left, and he had also asked Tommy for help in taking over Jimmy's business and Tommy had help him, it was easy for Tommy to understand all these, because he had have few clues on it before now.

"So he is dead now?" Jimmy asked and Carlos nod.

"The news will be aired tomorrow, that was what I heard." He sip his drink light and then turn his eyes to Tommy. "Thank you, if it wasn't your help, there would have been no way to save my company and win over Jimmy's company."

"You should thank Gabby and Triffany, if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't think of helping you either." Tommy's word made Carlos raise his brow as he stare at Tommy with curiosity.

"Why did you return? Have you finally found out who is in your heart?" Carlos asked him seriously and Tommy exhaled sharply.

"After hearing what happened to Triffany, I am thinking of changing it." Carlos raised his brow and Tommy continue. "I might take her away."

Carlos face darkened and Tommy chuckled to see Carlos facial expression, his eyes danced in victory. "Calm down Carlos, o came all the way her to see Gabby."

Carlos narrowed his eyes. "I thought as much, if not I won't be releasing anyone to you." Carlos seems his wine and he listed to the soft beats coming from the background, the bar was quiet with only few people in it and it seems peaceful too.

"Not as if you have the power to withhold Gabby from me." Tommy chuckled, then his lips curled up. "By the way, I heard you calling her a wildfire."

Carlos forehead furrowed and he glance up at Tommy. "How long have you been standing at the hospital?"

"Long enough to hear Gabby say you should take your bath and have a rest since you haven't done that for two days now." Tommy smile, but there was no traces of smile on Carlos face.

"Why didn't you see her, you knew she misses you a lot." Carlos said softly and Tommy knew he was talking about Gabby, he was quiet fir a long time and his lips paused in a straight line.

Tommy rubs his forehead and leans back to the chair he sat on, he stare at the bottom of his glass. "I should have, but you made the situation unfavourable for me."

"How so?"

"First I had to see her in a hospital, second, you were making her angry, thirdly, if I had met her then, she would feel embarrassed." Jimmy's word made Carlos chuckled and he waved it off.

"Then you need to know more about my sister, Gabby never feels embarrassed and she is ready to show you all her side." Carlos told him and this made Tommy remember what happened at the restaurant the day he had left her.

A smile spread through his lips. "You are right, she is just so awesome, a different kind of girl." As Tommy said it Carlos just stare at his face and couldn't help but laugh.

"Oh Tommy, love have eaten you up!" He exclaimed and Tommy giggled. "I shouldn't be here now, I am getting so jealous, I better go to Triffany." Carlos put his glass down and turn to stand up but Tommy held him back. "What?"

"She will he fine, go home, take good care of yourself, she will be glad if she doesn't wake up and see you so worn out. I will watch her while you are gone." Tommy told him.

"How do you expect me to trust a man who kiss her to be alone in the same room." Carlos shook Tommy's hands off and Tommy pretend to be hurt.

"Carlos, you don't forgive easily, I am not that kind of person, i won't take advantage of a lady who is laying on a hospital bed, whereas my heart has changed." Jimmy furrowed his brow. "You thought me too low."

"Well, i will take your advice and go rest, but I can't leave you all alone with Triffany." Carlos got up and pat Tommy's shoulder. "I will leave you be alone now."

"Don't tell Gabby I am back yet!" Tommy called out as Carlos walked towards the exit.

"Too late, I already did." Carlos flashed him a smile.

"What!" Jimmy got up immediately and turn around to see Gabby by the door glaring at him. "Oh shit!" He hissed.

Carlos winks Tommy and turn to Gabby who was still glaring at Tommy. "He is all yours." He whispered to her and walked out of the bar whirling his car key in his middle finger.

"Gabby..." Tommy said softly and gave a grunt of surprise as his lips parted, but he pressed his lips together. "Gabby, I want..ed to come t..o you instead." He stammered.

"You!" Gabby shouted and Tommy went silent as she launched over to him.

"Ah!" Jimmy closed his eyes, scared of what will come next, but a soft lips touch his and he opened his eyes, blink and his eyes dilated. "Gabby.." He wanted to say something but his lips was covered again by hers.

"I know you miss me." She said urgently and wrap her hands around his neck and kiss him more deeply, all Tommy could do was go with the flow.

He held her waist with one hand and the other her on her head, pulling her closer, no longer aware of where they were or if there were onlookers in the bar watching them.

This was proven to be an interesting day!
