Chapter 133

She glance at her wrist watch and remember his words of coming to get her in one hour, she pressed her lips together, sure he always keeps his promise, she only have to try her luck with Jimmy until that time runs out, then Carlos will be here and she will be safe.

It was until now that she realized that she was always safe when she was with Carlos, the memories of him taking her to his mansion when she was drunk, even when they hated themselves came to her mind.

She wanted to smile when she thought of that, but looking up at Jimmy's cold face, she came back to reality, she was with a man who want nothing but to suffer her and know one knows where she was.

"Do you see her?" Jimmy cuts her off before she can even say a word and she looked at the tombstone he was pointing at and fear envelope her, now she was wondering what he would do or say.

"She is dead now." He told her coldly and indifferently, Triffany turn my eyes at him, already aware of what he would say next. "Now, it is time for you to fulfil your promise."

My throat dried up and it was difficult to swallow, my legs tremble and I glance back at the door, wondering how fast I can make it out of her, before he grabs hold of me, this was not what I wanted to say.

"Don't tell me you love him, else our deal will be enacted right now." He told her and she felt cold wash over her it was a cold day, but it was different from what Triffany felt.

Deal! It repeated in her head like a melody that keeps playing even when she can't tell the name of the song.

"What...deal?" Triffany stammered and look up to him and he chuckled, she felt more terrified, afraid her legs would no longer carry her body since it was trembling.

He curled his lips upward and then gave an evil smile. "A life for a life Triffany." He said it so softly like a whisper, but it echoed ten times in Triffany’s ears like a loud siren.

It was a large garden and fresh air blew in, but, it felt so suffocating that it seems like Triffany couldn't breath, but she knew that if she were to faint again, Jimmy will think she was playing games with him or acting, so she clenched to her dress and tried to calm herself.

"Jimmy, I can't go with you." She said boldly, but her voice betrayed her when they came out hoarse, she looked at his eyes and it darkened.

"You think I am playing games right now, or possibly joking around and giving empty threats." His lips curled up and his brows furrowed as he step closer to Triffany and she consciously stepped backwards.

"But, Triffany I don't play games, I am only merciful to you because you are a woman, and I have made up my mind to take you with me and spoil you like I wanted to spoil my fiancee who died because of you." He touched the side of his brow.

Triffany wonder if this words he had said should be reassuring or of it was a direct warning and threat, but all that rang in her head as she stepped back was DANGER! And Triffany wished she can leave here immediately.

"Jimmy, you won't hurt me, I am a woman and if you do, your life will also be at risk and you will be imprisoned and all your life will be gone in a flash." She tried to retrot, but the cold laughter from Jimmy sent shiver to her spine and she felt like she have annoyed a beast.

Oh my sharp stupid mouth! She screamed in her head as she move back but his hands suddenly grabbed her waist and he made her look into his eyes.

"Should I tell you a scary story." He said softly but, it was so cold and she only want to get out of her, it was already scary staying her with his.

"Remember the trunk driver from three years ago."

His words made her eyes widens and a cold wash through her, she had not even think about the truck driver, a she had thought of was the lady with the ring.

"Well, just few day's ago I killed him." He said softly to her eyes and Triffany stiffened and the color on her face were drained as she looked at him pale with shock.

"With this." Jimmy gently lift something in his hands up for her to see and Triffany’s eyes dilated and tears pushed their ways out.

Was she sorry for the truck driver who she didn't even see or knew was still alive, or was she scared of what her fate will be today and her baby, since he was also holding up a gun.

"Get away from her!" A cold voice came from the door.

Triffany turned her eyes to see Carlos, she should be happy but

she was more terrified. You shouldn't be here! She screamed, but it was only in her head as she was too shock to utter a word.

"Who do we have here?" Jimmy said coldly with a cold smile and Triffany look at him, his eyes bear so much anger and her eyes settled on the gun in his hands.

"Jimmy, drop the gun and let go of her." Carlos told him as he trys to step close in a gentle way.

"Oh, Carlos, you are just here on time, I was telling Triffany about our deal and you suddenly appeared to be her to make it easy." Jimmy said and Triffany turned cold as she shook her head profusely.

"No Jimmy..." Triffany’s lips quivered and her eyes burns as hot tears stream down her cheek. "No, Jimmy, don't..."

Jimmy held her waist and made her look at Carlos who was standing a few step away from them, his gun pointed at Carlos.

"This is so much interesting, don't you think so Carlos?" He asked like he was having a friendly chat at the moment.

Carlos eyes never left mine and I was begging him with my eyes to go back, to get away from her, as fare as he could, I was pleading, wishing he could understand me.

"Jimmy, put the gun away." Carlos try to reason with him, but Jimmy chuckled.

"Wow! Triffany, your husband looks funny." Jimmy said slowly, look at him telling an armed man to put his gun away when he is holding a gun." He smirk and turned to Carlos.

"Tell me Carlos, don't I look good together with her, you don't love her at first anyway, I can give her a lot of love." Jimmy said softly, to Triffany he was talking like a lunatic, a dangerous one at that.

"Fine, you both look good together, but let go of her and we can both talk like men, real men." Carlos said softly.

At first Triffany doesn't understand, but se studies his eyes and knew he was trying to get Jimmy let go of her, so that he can be able to protect her and their child.

This all made Triffany cry, if she had not come here, if she had been obedient and listened to Carlos and Gabby, they wouldn't be in a situation like this.

This was all her fault, she had made her emotions get into the way, now she remembered how Nick always said she was stubborn and clumsy and gets people in trouble, it was all clear now, and she was doing that to the man she love.

"How about this then, I shoot you down this moment and leave here with Triffany, just like my girlfriend died, you will die and the love Triffany don't have for me will gradually develop, just like it did when you and her were together." He said coldly and Triffany was stunned.

Jimmy looked down at Triffany and a smile curled up in his lips. "This is such a perfect idea Triffany, a life for a life." Triffany shook her head profusely

In one instant Jimmy lift the gun over to Carlos and she saw him cock it and her eyes dilated as Jimmy clicked, she pushed Jimmy away and runs in front of him and Carlos.

Triffany froze in place as a single tears rolled down her cheek as she stare at Carlos.
