He dialled a number on his phone and lift the phone on his ear. "Eric, I put you in charge of watching my sister."

"Oh come on Carlos." Eric said from the other side of the line which was a bit noisy. "Can't you put someone else, I and Gabby don't really go along, and I am quite scared of her."

"I'm sorry Eric for putting this on you, Gabby won't suspect anything if you are by her side, if I put a guard on her, she will be so pissed, and you know what happens when she get pissed."

"Yeah sure I know, the last security guard you asked to watch her, got his hairs pulled out, that means I am next in line, and don't think Gabby won't suspect a thing, sorry to say this, but Gabby seems to have an invisible eyes, am already having goose bumps."

"Please, do this for me Eric, you are good at martial art, and Blake is at New Zealand at the moment." Carlos looked over at the beach, all he want was everyone's safety.

"Okay, fine, but I kept a note on my desk, just incase I don't come back alive." Eric said softly and hang up, he looked over to the left corner of a bar, and there Gabby was, drinking alcohol. "Okay Eric, this is it." Eric rubs his palm together and made his way to Gabby.

"Heyo Gabby." He called out and sat next to her, Gabby looked at him for a long while and he blink, already feeling uneasy. "What?" He raised his chin up.

Gabby put down her glass and cross her legs. "This." She opened up her palm and he look around the bar and back at her. "The Eric i know would never come here, so why are you here?" Her eyes staring into his.

Eric immediately looked away. "What kind of question is that, what do you think they do in a bar?" He tap his hands on the desk. "I came for a drink of course." He made an awkward laugh and Gabby shook her head.

"It better not be what my mind is telling me, I know that my girl instinct never lies." She lift her glass to her lips and Eric tries to steady his breathing.

A bar attendant came over to him. "Get me a glass of beer please." He told him and he left, few minutes later, his drink was in his hands. "So Gabby, do you have plans tomorrow and a day after tomorrow, and a day after that..."

Gabby raised her hands up and he stopped talking, swallowing head, think he had messed it all up. "Is Eric asking me out?" Eric knew it was a rhetorical question so he kept quite. "I know why you are here Eric, but I can handle myself." She got up to leave.

Eric stood up immediately, he held her hands and whirl her around, it was si fast that it made Gabby slip and she leans in and kissed his lip, with his hand holding her shoulder to keep her from falling, their eyes shone wide in shock as they couldn't pull away from the kiss.

Gabby pushed Eric away after a few seconds. "What do you think you're doing?" She shouted in anger and wipe off her lips with the back of her hands like she could wipe off the kiss.

"I didn't mean to do that...I just want.." Eric stutter as he tries to demonstrate with his hands. "I wanted to..."

"Wanted to do what! You pervert!" Gabby shouted and Eric looked around the bar as he saw few people looking at them.

"Am not a pervert, I whirled you around and you end up kissing me on purpose." Eric wipe off the his lips too, just as she did.

"What! Are you trying to pin this on me?" Gabby runs her hands through her hair, pissed. "Are you trying to hit on me, you're my brother's friend, god damn it!"

Eric scoffed and furrowed his brow. "And you are my friend sister, I won't even do that, whereas you are a bitch!" He shouted back, two can play the game.

"Did you just call mean bitch?" Gabby clutch her purse. "How dare you! You aren't even worth looking at, you piss of shit!"

Eric could see few people in the bar whispering things and some were also laughing, as much as he want to continue this, he still have to get Gabby and himself out of here, they were drawing much attention and it will be no help to Carlos if news spread about his sister.

"Gabby we have to leave." Eric said softly and Gabby held up her hand to stop him as she chuckled, flapping her hair backwards.

"Sure, now you want to leave since no lady here would even want to look at that face of yours, you are only a loser who will never find love since your past girlfriend left you, now all you want to do is harass your best friend sister!" She scoffed and shook her head.

Eric close his eyes, he could still hear the whispers of people, Gabby was stepping on the spot that hurts him more, but still, he thought of Carlos Zack and the things going on lately, he had to get her out of here.

"Let’s go Gabby, you and I know that what happened just now, the kiss was a mistake, we have to leave now." Eric saw someone lift up a phone to take pictures of them, he immediately covered Gabby's face and Gabby who was not aware of what he did for her pushed him away.

"Stay off me!" She shouted, but Eric knew if he didn't get her out it would be late, he gripped her hands and lead her out of the bar even with her protest.

"Let go of me! I am going to report you to the police for sexual harassment, let go of me you pervert, I am going to make sure to lock you up, my brother will so deal with you!" Gabby kept shouting.

Eric put her in her car front seat and help her with her car seat belt, even though she hit him and cursed him, he got into the drivers seat and drove off.

"Stop the car!" Gabby shouted. "Stop it else you want to kill both of us." She try to take hold of the steering wheel, but Eric pushed her hands off.

"Will you stop acting like a kid Gabby!" He shouted as he pulled over and face her with a furrowed brow. "When are you going to grow up, so much fuss over nothing, you cause disaster wherever you go!"

"Don't tell me that shit..."

"Shut up am not done talking!" Eric shouted and she went silent surprise at the sound of his voice, this was the first time. "Enough of you fooling around, Carlos is going through a lot now just to keep you save, don't add to it, the least you could do to help him is by staying low, but what do you do, pick up a fight at just a kiss."

"Well, to break it down to you princess, you are just like a sister to me and I don't even see you as a woman, so wake up from your silly dreams, also I was asked to keep you safe, I don't want that either, but I have to, just for Carlos."

"So it is either you wake up from your dreams and help Carlos or you continue acting like a child and never grow up!" Eric got out of the car and bang the door, he went over to the front of the car and lean on it, trying to calm himself down.

It was already late and the sun had just set, cars were passing by, but the breeze was awesome, soon he noticed someone came close to him and also lean on the front car.

"Eric, I am sorry for being such an asshole back at the bar." Eric didn't look at her, though he was surprised that she was apologising. "You're not ugly, all my brother's friends are handsome and I even have a crush on you three at times."

Eric chuckled. "That's hilarious." Eric looked at her.

"No it's not, I am serious, but I can't date any of you, just as I am a sister to you all, you all are brothers to me." She looked at Eric face. "I am really sorry for using your past love life against you, and thankful you didn't flare up at me."

Eric smile, lifting the corner of his lips up. "Am not a kid like you." Gabby smile and looked up at the night sky.

"I know I do act out a lot, but that is the only thing I can do not to feel lonely or bored, I know Carlos is going through a hard time now, trying to keep his wife and unborn child safe and also me, he is also fighting against Jimmy." She made a little vibration with her lips. "His life suck."

Eric look at her face with a raised brow. "How?" He was confused at what she actually meant.
