THROWN OUT

Freda's pov

I was doing much better. It was the break of dawn and I couldn't sleep anymore. My bones still ached but not as badly as yesterday.

Kara and Christie refused to leave my bedside, and I was grateful for that. I gently stood up without trying to wake any of them up as I got dressed in the clothes I took off last night. I wanted to see my mother and check on how she was fairing, I heard her come into my room last night, but I was too tired to open my eyes.

As I passed through the unfamiliar corridors of my father's kingdom my heart didn't stop thumping loudly and faster. After all the information Kara and Christie had poured on me yesterday, I didn't think I would ever be completely fine until I spoke to Damien. He needed to hear some certain things from my point of view. He needed to understand that he could not just push me aside, he was my mate, and I was his. There was no letting me go.

"Don't you dare say that to her, she belongs here as much as you do" I heard my father's voice say. He sounded angry, and I wondered why.

I pushed the throne room slowly and was met by everyone in my family. All heads turned slowly towards me and I quickly turned away and was about to lock the doors behind me when I heard my father's voice again.

"Come in Freda. This concerns you too, and the guards will go fetch Christie from your room."

I entered the room again and my mother ran towards him, embracing me in her arms. I almost cried right there, she felt so warm, I could never get used to being in her arms.

"I thought I lost you" I muttered and she chuckled. I could feel the vibration throughout my body.

"I am not that easy to get rid of, and so are you, because you are just like me," she said, pulling me away from her a bit so she could look into my eyes. I smiled and she smiled back at me sweetly.

While we were lost in our little world, the door opened and Kara and Christie walked in, so much for not wanting to disturb them both, I said in my head.

"What's going on?" I asked my mother in a hushed voice and she sighed.

"Your father's Luna verbally assaulted me this morning, she said I shouldn't be anywhere near her kingdom," she said, doing an air quote and I frowned.

"Who was she to call my Father's kingdom hers, that cheat!" I muttered as I felt Kara's presence beside me.

"Can someone explain why you are not in bed and why I am being called for an obvious family meeting?" Kara said and I rolled my eyes.

"Lady Amelia assaulted my mother"

"Verbally assaulted!" My mother corrected and I rolled my eyes some more.

"Doesn't matter, I know Father wouldn't take this lightly with her" I said and Kara nodded.

"This is going to be fun, what a good way to get up," she said and I chuckled.

"What Is this about?" Lady Amelia said, staring at every one of us like we were flying on her meal.

"A little birdie told me you have been sleeping around," my father said and there was a loud gasp in the room, Kara's mouth folded into a smile and so did mine. It was about to get good, but how did he know? Was it Christie?

"W-what do you mean, what sort of accusation is this? You called me here to complain about having a conversation with the lady you brought home and here you stand accusing me in front of my family of something I have no idea about. Is this your idea of projection? Are you looking for ways to make me the bad guy?"

Amelia said, and I snickered, she was a professional at foolery, she did not know we had an eyewitness.

"Wow," my mother exclaimed, surprised Amelia could still defend herself at such a critical time.

I was staring so hard at my father as I tried to wonder how he felt about all this, was he okay?

"Drop the pretense Amelia, not only did you defile my kingdom, you defiled my home!" My father said and I saw Amelia's face change, looks like she was done with trying to pretend.

"I wonder why I didn't even do it sooner. You rarely touch me in bed, the last time you did we had our son and he is fifteen years of age, Winston, what were you expecting?" Amelia said firing back at Father, looked like we wouldn't be needing Christie's testament and I surely did not want to hear my stepmother and my father talk about sex.

"That is not a basis for an excuse. What you did is unforgivable, you have brought disease to our sacred place and I won't let you grow it here and affect my children"

"So what are you suggesting?" Lady Amelia said, standing tall. It was moments like this when I admired her, she never brought herself down, and I was surprised she still didn't look phased.

"Leave the pack at once," my father said, and I couldn't help but join the others to cover my mouth. He was sending her out? I never liked her, but it looked too harsh.

"I think you should relax, Winston," my mother said, walking towards him, and I saw the moment Amelia's face changed, she was going to do something terrible.

"Mom, is it true?"

I heard Lilly ask this, and it was then I realized I had not paid attention to her since I entered the room. What does this mean for her also?

"It's not true, your father is just trying to keep this whore and making up stories."

"B-but you said-"

"I know what I said Lily, go pack your things, we are leaving, you too," she said, turning to her son.

"No, my children, stay here, you leave, only you Amelia. Never show face here again".
