SETH

Freda's pov

Leaving Christie at home was difficult. I was worried about what she would do at home without company, and even though she had reassured me she was going to be fine, I was still worried. If only my mother was back in the human world, I would have urged Christie to go spend her time there.

Sighing I made my way down the halls of the school building. I was here again everything felt different, it felt like I had been gone for years, nothing felt familiar, I thought to myself as I roamed the halls looking for my class, I was supposed to be having some lectures but I couldn't seem to find my way to the class.

I rounded the halls and found myself outside the lecture halls, ugh.

I had no clue where I was, but soon I heard voices and I sighed with relief, glad that somebody might be able to lead me back to where I was going.

"Man that sucks!" I heard one of them say before I got up close and saw that it was the school basketball team, well not all of them were there, just three of them.

Arrogant bastards.

"Hey you" I heard one of them call out when I turned my back to go find someone else to ask.

"You got ear problems or something," another voice said and I frowned.

"Leave me alone!" I yelled without looking back.

"Come on now, what's wrong, we are just trying to be friends," one of them said catching up with me.

"My name is Seth and my buddy Greg would like to know if you have a man and if you need one h-"

"Tell him I'm married" I replied rather too dull  I wasn't in the mood to be teased, I just wanted to get to class and get on with today.

"Yo Greg!" Seth called out.

"She got a man, Greg, maybe you should come over here and show her what a better man you can be," Seth said staring at me, his eyes held mischief that I had seen a lot back in my father's castle, this type of bullying wasn't new to me, I knew all their games so well but I wasn't in the mood to play.

"Why don't you tell your buddy to fuck off!" I said and tried to walk away but Seth grabbed my arms. It wasn't hurting but I didn't like him touching me, Greg and the third boy had already gotten to us.

"Relax," the third boy said and I frowned, I was getting angry and irritated.

"If only you knew who my husband was or where I even was from or who I was you wouldn't be touching me right now, hell you wouldn't even be trying to breathe the same air I was breathing at this point," I said, my expression was deadly and calm at the same time. I don't know what Seth saw in my eyes or heard in my voice or maybe my words simply just scared him away but he dropped my hand, a smile crept up my face and he smiled too. Ugh.

"See you later married lady" he teased one last time before leaving me and walking back to where they said before I came by.

I rushed back into the buildings and after roaming around a bit I found my way to my lecture hall.

I was tired and the class was almost ending. It didn't seem to be going well but at least I had something to gossip with Christie about.

"Got lost roaming these halls? Why didn't your husband bring you to class"

I heard an annoying voice say and I groaned, it was Seth's and he was sitting right behind me in class, today couldn't get any worse could it? I asked myself as I tried as much as possible to ignore him.

Five minutes into the class I felt a little poke by my side and I bit the corner of my lips. He was trying to get me to react, to talk to him but I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction he was looking for.

"How did you even get lost, these halls are tiny, is your house tiny?" He asked and I scoffed. The whole building of this school wasn't even half of the castle, the lecture room couldn't even fit the dining tables or its complete chair arrangements.

"How big is your uhh how big is your house?" He asked and I moved my body forward so I would at least not hear his hushed voice anymore.

"I know you want me to stop but I can't stop, I mean I could stop but you will have to do something for me to stop"

When he said that I sighed, bullies lie all the time, they never stop, they just take things from you and promise to stop. My mind reeled for a moment as I thought about my bully back at the castle that Damien's father killed. Licita's story would continue to have me, but still, sometimes I felt relaxed when she was gone. I just hope Seth was ready to hear that story.

"What is it?" I asked, resting my back on the chair.

"Your number, give me your number," he said and I frowned, just as I was about to get permission to leave the class the lecturer walked out, she had ended the class. I picked up my bags and left hoping to lose Seth on the way but he followed me, claiming he was trying to escort me, I didn't need him to.

"Leave me alone, Seth!" I said.

"Just give me your number and I will," he said trying to match my walking pace.

" I am not giving you my number, leave me alone!" I said louder this time and a few people looked our way. It got him to stop following me though so I was grateful for that. I hurriedly made my way out of the school and began wondering what type of school life I was going to live with Seth following me around.
