CHAPTER 23: HER OBSESSION 3

TWO WEEKS LATER
Elektra was not in a good mood, so many things had happened ever since she left Bares after frightening Pearl. Leaving Bares with that sparrow bracelet brought back some memories she wanted to forget.

It wasn’t really about her mother but her own life also. Living this life which looked worry-free and having everything that she ever wished for, made her forget about all the suffering she went through.

Did she blame anyone for the way she lived and how she suffered?

The answer will be both NO and YES. She really blamed everyone who participated in making her life hell, those people who sent her mother to prison, those people who made her a child without a home, and those people who made her live on the streets like a rat.

Elektra lived like a rat for less than a year but it was the most horrible moment of her life she never wanted to recall. At the same time, she also didn’t blame anyone for whatever came to her and her mother, the two of them deserved it.

Elektra knows that she was not a good child, her mother had greatly spoiled her and this turned her into a troubled child that only brought nightmares to others. Because of her mother, Elektra was a bully and never treated her half-siblings well and, in the end, she suffered the same fate.

It was only when she went through it did, she realizes just how she was back then.
This wasn’t the only issue that had been troubling her lately. After returning to Vrak, Kasper was a bit strange and the answer to that weirdness came when the man confronted her about 1.

It was the first time that the two had a fight that was so serious that they began to sleep separately. Because of their developing feelings, Elektra and Kasper had been sharing a room even though they weren’t that intimate.

They shared a couple of kisses and hugs but nothing further from that. It wasn’t that Elektra was shy or something, she just felt that if she gave in easily to him then he will take her for granted.

Elektra wasn’t a noob when it comes to love or sexual intercourse, she knew the ins and out of everything even though in her current life she had not slept with anyone yet.

The two were living in the same house but they weren’t really talking and Kasper didn’t want her to leave him again. Even though they weren’t talking, Kasper put more people around her and Elektra simply let the man do whatever he wanted.

Elektra found these actions a bit cute, even though Kasper was a bit possessive and obsessed with her, he was a nice guy who greatly cared about her and her feelings.

She saw him getting angry at her and yet he never raised his hand against her. He was someone who hated to see her getting hurt and he would rather transfer the pain to him than let her feel it.

This is the reason why Elektra was planning on doing something that was going to change her entire life but before she does that, Elektra had a story to finish.
After calming her mind, Elektra went to sit in her chair in the personal study that Kasper made for her and set the cameras up for the day’s Livestream.

The second she went live; a notification was sent to her subscribers and the room had viewers in it already.

“Good evening, everyone, I won’t be taking too much of your time but resume
from where we left last time,” Elektra said as she looked at the messages being sent by the viewers.

“Hope had been married to Jim for over ten years and her life was going well as she expected. She made a name for herself and was well respected in society. Even though these people thought badly of Hope’s daughter, they couldn’t say a word as they didn’t want to offend Hope or Jim.

But Hope had no idea that her life was about to change and it was going to be her nightmare. On a very special day when Hope was going to become even more famous, she was holding a fashion show on that day, and everything was supposed to be perfect and no error was allowed.

Hope thought that the day will end with her being flattered and given compliments but who knew that when the show was in the middle, the police walked in majestically and ruined everything.

Hope had done so many bad things but she had always covered it up so well that nothing will ever be traced back to her, so when the police interrupted her big day, she raised a fit when she was handcuffed for murder and taken away.

Hope being arrested made headlines and she thought that her competitors were the ones sabotaging her and she wanted to sue them for everything that they have.

Hope was finally charged with a crime she never expected to be charged with, in her life. When she was told that she was the prime suspect in the homicide of Jim’s first wife, Hope didn’t know what to do.

As someone who had been living her life in peace and never met this dead wife, Hope denied any accusations thrown at her. she was kept in holding for forty-eight hours and was slapped with continuous evidence.

Hope was greatly shocked by this news and she knew that whoever was behind this was prepared and it was going to be hard for her to get out of this. When she turned to her husband for help, the man spit in her face and looked at her with disdain as if he was looking at some disgusting person.

Seeing no love in those eyes, Hope knew that everything was doomed and she was really going down and who really cared about the truth at this time?

What worried her the most was her daughter. Hope who had spoiled her daughter so much was worried that she will not be able to cope, so in order to make things easier for her daughter, she pleaded guilty and this intensified the whole situation.

Hope at this stage didn’t care about herself anymore but wanted a way out for her daughter but what she never anticipated was the fact that the people who were dealing with her were not done with her or her daughter.

So, when Hope was sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole, more shocking news was released and this shocked the world. The nightmare of both mother and daughter was just beginning and the ending was…………..”
