CHAPTER 56: OUTING

After the birthday, Elektra had a lot of free time and she attended her lessons as usual however the friendship between the four was now rocky.

After the confrontation with Hartley, Elektra didn’t even bother with her, she completely canceled the other from her list. As for Molly, Elektra didn’t like the way she was looking at her with a calculative expression.

Faith being the odd one out, she just kept to herself but the distance could be felt. Elektra didn’t mind losing her friends as they just didn’t click, the relationship was already rocky before and now it completely went down the drain.

On a certain Thursday, Molly announced in the group that they should go on an outing and have a great weekend. Elektra had no idea why Molly arranged for this outing but since it has already been arranged, she decided to go and have some fun.

Maybe the rocky relationship will be saved. So, she told her husband and daughter that she will be spending the weekend out, Anisha wasn’t happy as she wanted to tag along but Kasper cut that short dream and arranged for Anisha to be sent to her grandma to accompany the old lady.

As for Kasper, he taught Elektra a good lesson for the following days as he will not be seeing the other for days. Elektra indulged in canal desire and let the man love her and embrace her.

On Friday evening after school, Elektra had her bags packed already so it was very easy for her to drive her car and head for the destination of the outing. Molly didn’t pick somewhere far but chose a resort just three and half hours away from the CBD and two hours away from Vrak.

As they all owned cars, Elektra was happy to drive herself to the resort as she didn’t want to share her car with anyone. She didn’t want to have her freedom restrained.

By the time Elektra arrived at the resort, it was around nine at night and luckily it wasn’t that dark. She parked her car, took out her suitcase and locked the car before dragging the suitcase towards the reception.

The receptionist seeing the veiled lady knew that it would be rude to look at her many times so she asked the appropriate questions and handed Elektra the key card for the suite that Elektra and the girls will be using for the stay.

Elektra took the elevator to the floor and used the key card to enter the suite. It was a four-bedroom suite and very suitable for them. At least they could all stay in their own rooms with a lot of privacy.

As Elektra was the first person to arrive, she took her time to pick her own room and decided on a room with a beautiful view of the lake outside.

She unpacked her things and went to wash up first as she waited for the gang. She had last eaten some hours ago and she was starving but she couldn’t start eating without the girls.

The second person to arrive was Hartley who had been driven to the resort by her boyfriend. She just wanted to brag and be the first person to arrive but who knew someone came first before her and it was Elektra whom she didn’t like much.

Hartley hated Elektra before and finding out that the other was very rich and married to Kasper Murray made her feel very sour. She wondered what she lacked to always lose to Elektra?

“You are here!” Hartley spoke perfunctorily after she realized that she couldn’t get angry with Elektra at all.

After knowing the other for a while now, she knew that it has always been her seeking trouble and Elektra was the kind of person who minded her own business and had never showed off before.

Elektra looked at Hartley with a confused expression, after all, she didn’t expect Hartley to be well behaved tonight, “umm, I arrived some time ago.”

“Okay then, I will pick up my room and wait for the girls,” Hartley informed as she sashayed her body towards one of the empty rooms.

Elektra just watched as Hartley left with a dumbfounded expression, this was simply too unreal but she quickly calmed herself down and look down at her phone, and resumed texting her husband.

Molly and Faith were the last to arrive as they have taken the same car together. When they arrived, they didn’t cause a ruckus but simply went to the remaining rooms.

With the girls in one place, they finally visited the restaurant around ten for their late-night dinner. The girls looked very harmonious as they enjoyed their meal and Elektra didn’t show her face, luckily the girls were already used to this.

As it was already late, the girls didn’t talk much but went to sleep straight away. The next morning, the girls met up after washing and changing.

They exchanged greetings and headed to the restaurant for their breakfast. After breakfast, they took advantage of digesting their food to take a closer look at the resort and they talked and laughed.

No one caused trouble so the atmosphere was very peaceful. Elektra sincerely hoped that it will remain like this, unfortunately, they were going back the next day so those who had questions took advantage of that night’s bonfire to roast Elektra they couldn’t roast for days now.

“Are you really married to Kasper?” Molly asked as she couldn’t really keep on being curious.

Even though Kasper had announced on that night that Elektra was his wife, Molly and the girls still couldn’t believe it so instead of being worried daily it was better to just ask.

Elektra smiled at the girls and slowly removed the veil she had never taken off in front of the girls before.

When Molly and the girls saw what Elektra was about to do instead of answering the question, they didn’t know what to expect. Hartley had this dreadful feeling and she sincerely didn’t want to watch the other without the veil.

She had already suffered enough without seeing the face and now she was being forced to see it? She glared angrily at Molly who had started this, how could she do this?
