CHAPTER 51: FIRST LIFE

Elektra could sense that the man was worried, anxious, and nervous at the same time. It was even more serious than her who was about to confess and this action made her feel very warm.

“There is something that I have been keeping from you and many others. But since you are now my husband, I decided that it will be for the best if I tell you so that if in the future someone talks about it, you won’t be caught unaware,” Elektra spoke slyly as she looked at Kasper who was busy digesting what she was saying.

“What I am about to tell you, will shock you and make you feel as if you are living in a world that you can’t recognize but it is okay for me, I am here and will answer any questions that you have.”

Kasper at this stage could tell that whatever Elektra wanted to tell him was not small but something so huge. He had always known that she was with a lot of secrets and he has been waiting to hear from her as he didn’t want to pry into her privacy.

He had investigated her before and the information he received wasn’t all, it wasn’t because his men were useless but they couldn’t find anything and that on its own was very weird.

But he told himself as long as she was by his side, then nothing else mattered. He was going to know them one day in the future and he wasn’t going to risk that by doing something that she didn’t want.

But now since Elektra was ready to talk about her secrets, he was all ears even if it means getting shocked and seeing a whole new world, he didn’t care at all.

“I am all ears and I need you to know that no matter what you tell me, I will not leave you. Since the day I saw you, liked you, and brought you back home, I told myself that I will take you and all of your baggage. It doesn’t matter who you are, or what you are for to me, you are my Elektra, you are my, Kasper’s wife, and nothing is going to change that,” Kasper solemnly vowed seriously as he held Elektra’s hands tightly.

It didn’t take long for Elektra to sense Kasper’s nervousness and his fear as he said those words. She was greatly touched; Kasper was one hell of a man and he was someone she never thought she will meet in her life.

He had brought so much joy and unexpected events that just made her look at the world with a new light. Since he had said these words with his own mouth, Elektra was going to take him for his words and make sure that he stood by them.

“Since you have said that then there is no way out for you anymore,” Elektra slyly smiled as she winked at her man.

Seeing Elektra getting into her playing mode again, Kasper was relieved. He was truly afraid that whatever Elektra was going to talk about tonight, was going to cause a huge rift between them and that she was going to mention breaking up and leaving him.

He didn’t want to lose her at all, he didn’t care if she was some monster, demon, or not a normal person at all. he just wanted her and she was all that he cares about.

“Umm, I will never leave you for anything.”

“Okay then, just sit there and listen attentively. Questions can be asked later, for now, I just want you to listen to me!” Elektra was very stern as she said this.

Kasper planted a kiss on her wrist to show that he understood.

So, the confession began and Kasper who had no idea what his wife was about to talk about, couldn’t help but get hit with all sorts of emotions as Elektra narrated her story.

“When you investigated about me, you probably found something fishy and tonight I will be explaining the reasons why. I just turned nineteen yesterday but my real age in this world should be twenty-eight years.

My first real name is Cleo Lowe, which later changed to Cleo Day when I was around ten years old. My mother was Hope Lowe Day and she passed away over five years ago while she was in prison for murdering Ian Day’s first wife.

I was raised by my mother singlehandedly and she gave me so much love that I can’t really complain. She was a hard worker and a great inspiration to me. I wanted to follow her steps and become her when I grow up.

However, everything changed when my mother married Ian Day who was my father at that time. Having a whole family was a new thing for me. I grew up receiving all the attention to myself and having two more kids vying for that attention away from me, it didn’t sit well with me.

Elektra didn’t speak very fast and tried her best to narrate slowly and in a way that Kasper can understand without the need for her to repeat everything from scratch again.

Kasper had been in shock the whole time. He just didn’t expect that the truth was this horrifying and shocking. He thought that she hides her identity because she was hiding from someone dangerous or something like that.

But he never thought or even suspected that his wife Elektra once died and went through a rebirth. To think that the teenager he married was twenty-eight years old according to her first life.

Just thinking about living many lives, was taking a toll on him but he knew that he had to listen and get to know more about Elektra as he had a feeling that she will not be talking about this again.

He was also shocked to know that Elektra was Hope’s daughter. This story was exactly the same as the one that Elektra had narrated on her live stream channel. He had always thought that she was just fond of giving her listeners headaches but he never thought that everything was real and true.

If her life was really like what she narrated, he began to understand her. She was really raised in a wrong way but every parent is always biased towards his or her own child.
