CHAPTER 26: CAN I CALL YOU…….?

Everything was like a dream even when Elektra was holding the two marriage certificates, she had gotten the next morning after Kasper’s proposal.

The whole situation was a bit funny, there was a proposal without a ring but she didn’t mind it. In her head she didn’t even care that he wasn’t prepared to take that step with her, she only had a pretty face and girls like her usually end up as just lovers or mistresses, so having Kasper marry her, was just of the question for her.

She also understood the man’s anxiety, as long as he ties the knot with her then she will never be able to run away. She wondered if he was ready for what was to come.

Since she told him that the second, he ties himself to her, she won’t leave him alone. She wasn’t joking at all. She had been alone for too long and she wasn’t going to let someone she fancied leave her when he was bored.

He was in this for a lifetime and she seriously hoped that he was ready for that. Deep down in her heart Elektra was in a thrilling mood, it felt good to be married. In her previous life, she wasn’t blessed enough to get that opportunity but, in this life, everything was going smoothly, at least it was over fifty percent.

In order to get married, Elektra had skipped her morning lectures, what did learning matter when she was facing a grand moment of a lifetime?

Kasper was also relieved, tying Elektra to him was the safest option for him to make sure that she will never run away or even think about any other guys. At
least the rest of the world can just look at her but at the end of the day, Elektra was his wife and she will always come back home to him.

Kasper sent Elektra to school and the newlyweds were feeling ecstatic, Elektra couldn’t help herself but lean in closer to her husband and gave the man one hell of a passionate kiss.

Kasper was only shocked in the first two seconds before taking over and thoroughly kissed his young bride until she was out of breath.

When the two mouths separated, Elektra’s lips were red and swollen and the sight was so enchanting, Kasper wanted to go for round two but Elektra glared at him and quickly made her escape.

Kasper chuckled enjoying how cute Elektra was right now, she looked totally different from the girl who was all domineering when declaring him as hers yesterday.

He had this feeling that he will be seeing more interesting things in the future. And even though he was curious to find out the secrets that she possesses, he didn’t want to chase her away, so he was going to wait until she was willing to share that with him.

As long as she was by his side then nothing else matters. Kasper happily let the driver take him to work since Elektra was already in school and he was going to see her later at home.

Elektra despite coming a bit late to school didn’t arouse a lot of suspicions, everyone has got their own troubles and issues and it wasn’t nice to pry. Luckily the lectures weren’t many and Elektra spent most of her time in the library analyzing the clues of her treasure.

She was so determined in finding it and when she does, she couldn’t wait to tally her riches and see what more surprises this mysterious treasure was going to bring her.

Later when classes were over, Elektra met with her three friends and the girls talked quite a lot as they waited for Elektra’s car to arrive. Since she was driven to school, Elektra didn’t bring her car so she had to wait for the driver to come and pick her up.

The girlfriends of Elektra waited with her not because they were concerned about Elektra’s welfare but they were so dead curious to the man who had been supporting Elektra for months now.

They tried their best to investigate and yet they couldn’t find a single clue so maybe if they waited and see for themselves, they may finally see this mysterious man.

Hartley was the most curious as she wanted to see the kind of man Elektra will have, for someone who was so ashamed of showing her face, what man would she even find?

The driver didn’t disappoint and arrived on time. The three girls including the other students who had not left were quite shocked, by what they saw. Who didn’t know that number plate in Vrak?

Elektra could only label Kasper as being childish when she saw this specific car coming to pick her up. Was he trying to tell the whole world that she was with him?

But that bold statement made her happy inside, at least the man wasn’t trying to hide her and who wouldn’t be touched by this?

“Elle, this……..” Molly didn’t know what to say when she saw the driver respectfully opening the door for Elektra.

Elektra knew that this wasn’t the time to introduce her friends to Kasper but her birthday was around the corner, so she was going to do that then.

“I will see you guys’ tomorrow,” Elektra quickly made her escape as there was no way she was going to wait to get roasted by these girls.

Surely Hartley was the angriest one as she scolded Elektra who had been gone for long. Molly comforted the jealous friend and hoped that Hartley won't act like this when she finally meets the man she thought was behind Elektra.

Her family wasn’t strong enough to go against the suspected man and Molly was starting to see her friend Elektra in a new and different way.

When Elektra arrived home, Kasper was not there as the man was still at the office having meetings. But his absence didn’t affect her much as someone she had not seen for weeks was finally home.

Seeing the eight-year-old Anisha, Anisha was happy and her emotions were jumbled. She really felt like a mother, of course, she had to wait until Anisha calls her that. A girl can also dream.

As she was looking at the young girl who was staring at her, she suddenly heard something that made her blank out for a long time, “can I call you mother now?”
