CHAPTER 39: HIS CIRCLE 3

Prince who had been waiting to watch drama couldn’t help but raise his eyebrows after listening to that voice. Why did it sound familiar? Where did he hear that voice from?

He couldn’t help but let his mind wander and completely missed out on a lot of interesting things.

Both Nathan and Alan were also shocked to hear that enticing voice. There were all men and having a woman with such a beautiful voice that is so nice to listen to especially in bed, was a dream for every man.

Was this the real reason that Kasper was with this Elektra and not ******? Time will only tell.

“It’s a pleasure to finally meet you, Kasper had been hiding you so well!” Alan teased once more as he looked at the girl, which he couldn’t see and this made him feel frustrated.

“Ahhhh….. you don’t have to blame him. I …. I am just not a crowd lover. I spend my time at home or at school,” Elektra shyly responded to Alan’s probing and in one sentence she provided a lot of information to the curious guys.

Kasper seeing this shy side of Elektra couldn’t help but feel as if his friends were in for a scam. Because Elektra was someone whom most people couldn’t see her face, it was very difficult to read her face unless someone like him who knew how to read her eyes was present.

Elektra was not a shy person and this is something that she proved to him daily especially when they were loving each other and in the bedroom. Something that had now moved out of the bedroom and expanded to other places.

She was very proactive and she knew what she wanted and this wasn’t what she did only in private but wherever they were. And this fraudulent side of hers, he had a feeling that his friends were in for a treat and he was not going to stop her.

Surely, Elektra had spewed out some answers to the questions that they wanted to ask and they started to believe that talking to her was easy as pie but only Nathan had a forbearing feeling that things weren’t as they seem.

“So, you are a student?” Prince who had just awakened from his stupor asked as he wanted to know more.

Elektra looked at the man who had not spoken much and she nodded her head before responding, “umm, I am in my second year studying at ***** University and doing a history course.”

Now that was shocking news to hear, to think that Kasper was so inhumane and he picked a kid to be his wife, wasn’t this too much?

Nathan looked at Kasper who only raised his eyebrows as he drank some wine and he had no intention of interfering.

“Why did you pick history?” Alan couldn’t help but ask as this was his first time seeing someone in person who took that course to study.

This question solved some troubles as all the men in the room were curious about the reason behind this decision and Elektra’s response shocked them all.

“There are too many hidden treasures out there and only through historical books can I find them. I want to become very rich and be able to do everything that I want without anyone stopping me or being bullied.”

Kasper couldn’t believe hearing this reason. Was she really lacking money that she will do something so crazy like this?

Elektra knew that her answer was simply outrageous but that was part of the truth. She had been busy researching about that sunk ship for a while now and she was getting close.

Who knew that at this time she will be married and her dreams of traveling around the world were shattered just like that by the despicable man by her side?

Kasper felt the resentment from the little girl and he quickly held her hand and began to caress her. at this stage, if he couldn’t tell that the little girl was angry, he would have lived with her for months for nothing.

The three friends also noticed that something was fishy and some secret conversation was happening between the two and the feeling was just not so good especially to those who were watching this exchange.

“This is one hell of a reason! So, now that you are married to our dear Kasper, what are you going to do about that dream?” Nathan slowly asked as he wanted to probe and see where Elektra stands.

Elektra didn’t have any good impression of this Nathan; she could tell that the man didn’t like her and that he was hiding something and she was dying to know about it.

Since he wanted to play then she was going to play along, “as long as I want something, he will give it to me. It doesn’t matter now that I am married as what really matters is that I am still here and it can still be done.”

“That’s true, as long as you want something, I will give it to you. Everything that I own is yours, so even if you fail to find the treasures, your husband will be here for you,” Kasper spoke convincingly and firmly as he held Elektra’s hand to support her.

He didn’t like the way Nathan was acting, and from another point of view Kasper understood his friend well but he didn’t want anyone to make things difficult for his wife.

Nathan smiled wryly seeing how protective Kasper was being of Elektra. If he had shown just a tiny bit of feelings towards Jill, then he wouldn’t be here trying to make things difficult for Elektra.

Elektra looked at her man and patted his hand to calm him down, “maybe one day when I find that treasure, I will invite you and ask your help to excavate it.”

Elektra didn’t want the atmosphere to be so tense so she tried to add a few jokes in there and surely Alan the joker, took it to another level and the fire died out.
Elektra was still bombarded with questions and she answered them skillfully without making things difficult for the guys and she also asked her own questions in return and everything was going so well.

The guys didn’t just drink alcohol but also ate some food to pad their stomachs as it wasn’t wise to just drink without eating something as this will cause some stomach problems.
