CHAPTER 66: FAMILY

Elektra spent three days on the island, of which the first one was taken with her cultivation. So, she spent the next two days taking a closer look at the treasure that she had found.

As she couldn’t take everything for herself, she had to sell a lot of her treasure for money as every empire requires capital to survive. So, before she sells everything, she went through everything again to see if there is anything that she could take and store herself.

Elektra was happy to find a small chest full of jewelry, she really loves jewelry so there was no way she was going to sell it. Elektra stored that chest away and picked some gold for future use, some paintings to give her man as well as some antiques for her father-in-law.

As for the rest of the family, she was going to think about that later. Even after taking what she did, the treasure didn’t show any signs of dwindling which made her very happy.

Elektra didn’t have a lot of things to do, so she planned to return back to Parat when she was done but she received a call from 6 and her flight deviated.

Elektra and her entourage finally headed back to country **** and since the private jet was still waiting for her, she simply told the jet crew about the change of itinerary.

Elektra had not seen 6 for a while now. 6 is a man in his early forties and he is someone whom she met last than the other 5 children as they call themselves.
And all the meetings happened 3-5 years ago. 6 was in despair when she met him.

The man had just lost everything to a scheming relative, all his hard work, the company he had worked so hard for without resting, dating, or having his own family ended up landing in his nephew’s hands.

He was very devasted and the worst part was how this nephew wanted him dead, it was by sheer luck that he survived and the person that saved his life was Elektra who had been bored to death and taking a night walk.

She came across a group of men in the woods and their aura was surrounded by death. Even though she wasn’t scared of them, she didn’t want to witness someone being wronged, killed and not do anything about it.

She had killed too many people in her last life and she sincerely prayed that in this life she will not take a life and if she ever did, she will try her best to minimize it. She wasn’t a serial killer after all who enjoyed taking other people’s lives and cutting their lives short.

When she stealthily arrived, she found that these men had abducted a man for no reason at all as this B.S of killing someone for inheritance was child play to her.
Mad about these people and their disgusting acts, Elektra intervened, as she was alone and Barry and Miley were still at the resort they were staying at, she only made them unconscious before she saved the man.

Barry dealt with the men in his own way while Miley took care of 6 until he was back on his feet.

6 was very grateful for what Elektra and her people did, so he vowed that if he still remains alive, he was going to repay her. Elektra had no idea that 6 had been observing her closely and he saw her love for meat, so an idea sprung in his head.

He couldn’t show himself openly at his family, he wanted to shock them with surprise and show them that it didn’t matter where he goes or what he does, he will still come out at the top.

With some help from friends, 6 was able to buy a ranch and start a business that revolves around something his savior was passionate about, meat and he was happy with it.

At least Elektra accepted him, helped him, and also introduced him to the other 5, making him number 6 and the last child that Elektra took. He didn’t mind that the others were younger than him, it was his bad luck that made him meet Elektra later but still, he was glad that he got to meet her as he will be buried in an unmarked grave by now it wasn’t for her.

6 had asked Elektra to come to country H as there was a wonderful charity banquet being hosted there. As 6 had come out on the top these past three years and did wonders, he became a ranch mogul.

His nephew suffered a lot and ended up getting arrested for attempted murder, someone else took over the company as 6 firmly refused to go back. When they kicked him out, they didn’t even think that a day like this will come, so why should he help those who are ungrateful?

6 had a lot of contacts and connections so starting another business wasn’t as hard as he imagined. So currently he had been invited to that charity banquet and it was a place that wealthy people from all corners of the world will meet.

What made 6 invite Elektra to this banquet was because he had heard rumors about the supernatural and he wanted Elektra to see it for herself, as she was one of them.

It didn’t take a fool to realize that Elektra was special and she was capable of doing things that normal human beings couldn’t do. 6 also fell in love and just happened to marry a psychic himself, so he was no longer a skeptic.

Elektra couldn’t say no to such a banquet as it wasn’t easy to come across someone like her. it wasn’t like she didn’t in the past as she had seen two or three but they all looked less strong than her.

Elektra smiled as she hugged 6 in a warm hug, as the legion had now fully put their lives in Elektra’s hands, there was no way they were going to report B.S to Kasper back in Parat.

“I am glad that you came. How are school and marriage?” 6 asked sincerely as they walked towards the car.

“Everything is okay and marriage is just…….. ha ...ha…..very beautiful. I am enjoying every second of it,” Elektra genuinely answered and 6 could see a smile in those eyes and he was very happy for her.

The two talked even when they entered the car and 6 was taking Elektra to the hotel where he was staying as the banquet was later that evening.

Elektra and her men all checked in and 6 made an appointment with her. Elektra took a well-needed bath first and talked to Kasper on the phone, the man wasn’t happy but Elektra was getting very good at coaxing, so Kasper instead of exploding began to anticipate what his little wife will do when she come back.
