CHAPTER 32: 2

In a brightly lit room, a young, beautiful woman was busy admiring a necklace that delicately sat on her palm. There was a genuine smile on her face that practically shocked the hell out of the three people in the room with her.

They didn’t make a sound despite seeing this fantastic scene, who didn’t know that their boss will become a maniac if disturbed?

The woman was truly satisfied with this piece of jewelry, she couldn’t wait to receive praise over it. She turned her head and looked at the three people who had worked overtime to get this jewelry set done.

“I am very proud of this work this time, I will be giving you a hefty amount of a bonus,” the woman graciously said as her smile reached her eyes.

The three people were very happy to hear this and even if they didn’t receive a single thing, they were very satisfied as it wasn’t every day, they get to see that loving smile on their boss’s face.

“We are glad that you like it.”

“Yes, it is our honor. I hope the owner will like it.”

The three people fawned greatly at their female boss and she enjoyed hearing every single word of it, “you may leave now.”

Since the work was done, there was no need for her to keep the staff here as she had more things to do. The employees left dejectedly from the office leaving the young woman by herself.

With no spectator with her, she could finally be at ease. She took a seat and looked at the jewelry set that was on the black desk. The set consisted of a necklace, a pair of studs’ earrings, a bracelet, an anklet, a ring, and a headdress.

Anyone could tell that whoever was going to wear this, was probably someone high and someone who values her jewelry otherwise no one in her right mind would wear too much like this especially in the modern era.

This type of jewelry was famous in ancient times, royalty mostly or noble ladies would have a couple of complete sets like this. If one were to add the nail armors on top then the wearer would qualify to become a Queen, a concubine, or a
witch.

Did she find it weird designing such a set? Yes, she did but she did this wholeheartedly and it was her first time designing a complete set like this.

It had taken her more than four months to come up with the perfect designs and six months to have them made. There were a lot of errors and a lot of unsatisfactory pieces before this final one was made.

And everything was done to give someone who was closer to her dear heart as a birthday present.

Kelly used to be a nobody, her hard work was always being stolen by people who didn’t want to see her succeed. Kelly couldn’t be said that she was a pauper with nothing.

She was born and raised in a rich family, she never lacked anything but her dreams were not recognized by her family. They wanted her to work in the company but she had so many siblings and it didn’t really matter whether she
joined them or not.

All these years, she had been designing jewelry and even joined a jewelry company as she wanted to earn experience but who knew that her mother in order to make her comply with the family’s wishes sabotaged her job and tore her designs.

Kelly at that time was very devastated and she hated everyone for hurting her like that. What hurt, even more, was how someone she knew managed to get her hands on her unsigned designs and made them hers.

Kelly was devastated and this was the last straw that made her leave her family. She didn’t care about their money or inheritance, to her there was no point in living if she can’t live her life freely.

She couldn’t do anything in peace and they were even forcing her to marry a guy she didn’t love and that guy was in love with someone else, and yet for the sake of reputation and interests they just wanted to force her.

Kelly made her escape one day when they were very much relaxed and with no money and no destination in mind, she simply went wherever her feet took her. she couldn’t be in cities or big towns as she could be recognized, luckily, she was a mountain climber and hide there.

Kelly somehow wandered and found herself in a remote small town and living a life of a nomad, Kelly managed to bump into her savior. The second she looked at the young girl, Kelly felt that her inspiration was back.

So, she shamelessly stuck with her savior, it wasn’t easy for her to finally get close to her muse so whatever she was given, she took it. It was thanks to her savior, Elektra that Kelly began to believe in herself again, she made a lot of designs, registered them so that no one else will steal them as they did before.

With the help of Elektra and 1, a wealthy businessman, Kelly was able to start her company and remained in the shadows until she became famous. Every single piece that Kelly sold out there, was a hit and many people craved for them.

To make her art unique, Kelly made only one hundred pieces for every design that she personally makes, as for the others, she gave the chance to other designers to make them shine, as a company was not something that she can build on her own.

It was through her hard work, leadership skills, and the input from everyone who works with her. If the company is united then they will all prosper but if there isn’t that harmony, and there are moles or spies then it is easy for a company worth trillion to go bankrupt within a heartbeat.

It had been four years now since she got acquainted with Elektra and she wanted to do something grand for her and celebrate her birthday. She was in charge of making Elektra’s jewelry and she was glad that Elektra loves them but this time, she just wanted to go all out and be ahead of the others.

Even though she didn’t like it, she had to admit that Elektra’s children as they secretly call themselves, were all big names, and the competition between them was very fierce.

It was good that Elektra, their mother, didn’t know anything about that.
