CHAPTER 53: I LOVE YOU

Elektra had spent a couple of hours narrating her story and it was already around 2 a.m. but this didn’t matter at the moment as Kasper was in the middle of digesting the information.

It was just too much for him, he has handled a lot of projects and still managed to break through, and yet everything that he had just heard that night was just totally unexpected.

Elektra didn’t hurry Kasper but watched as the man furrow his eyebrows from time to time. She was now used to this so she didn’t need to make things difficult for Kasper who was very new to this sort of thing.

As someone supernatural, Elektra knew more of the strange world that she lives in as she wasn’t the only abnormal person in the world. She had come across many people like her and yet at the same time, they were also very different.

Kasper didn’t let Elektra wait for long before he enveloped her in a tight hug as he showered kisses all over her face, “I am now here with you. You don’t have to worry or be stressed again!”

Elektra teared up as she heard Kasper saying this. She knows that he had vowed before that he won’t leave her but seeing him doing this, gave her courage and an affirmation that her man wasn’t a coward and he was not going to leave her.

Elektra hugged him back as she was truly happy knowing that someone apart from Miley and Barry now knows her life story. She was just happy that he didn’t judge her directly even after listening to how horrible she was before.

“Before I comment about anything, I just want you to know that I love you and I will always love you. I don’t care about your past and the bad things that you did, for like I said before to me you will always be you.

“You will still like me even if I killed people?” she slyly asked as she looked at him with an eerie and cold smile on her face.

Kasper froze for a second, not because he hated what she said but it was because he was shocked to see this scary expression from her. He had seen so many emotions from her but this was the first time that he had seen her with so much killing intent and it was even higher than his.

Kasper chuckled as he knows that she was trapping him, “even if you kill people today, I will still love you and help you bury them. darling, I am not a saint myself and I am not in a position to judge anyone.

I understand everything that you have just told me and I just want to tell you that I am very grateful that you told me about this. I know that it is not easy for you to say this, so for having confided in me, I just want to say thank you.

I won’t say what you and your mother did in the past was good as we both know that it wasn’t, but your death is something that I don’t agree with and I really feel sad for both of you and I am sorry for what you went through. I ………………………………………………………”

Elektra listened as Kasper accepted her and spoke his own opinions. She didn’t get angry with him as she was ready for any comments thrown at her. if he was someone else, she could have just frozen the other to death or disintegrated him with her powers.

But this man was her husband, someone she was going to do everything in her power to live with for a very long time. Elektra chipped in here and there as she answered Kasper’s questions. The two didn’t care about the time as having this talk was more important.

“Are you not going to ask about it?” Elektra finally asked, seeing how Kasper was avoiding asking the most important questions anyone would have asked after hearing what she talked about.

Kasper at once knew what Elektra was talking about, it wasn’t that he didn’t want to ask but he didn’t want to open sound closed wounds as he could tell that she was very sensitive about it.

“Will you be okay if I ask?” Kasper asked as he didn’t want to cause her any pain.

Elektra looking at the worried man who was holding her hands tightly, couldn’t help but sigh. Just how blessed and lucky was she to find a man so understanding like him?

“I am okay, just go ahead and ask but I can only answer two questions for now,” she said after some deliberation.

She didn’t want to talk about her second life at the moment at all but she didn’t mind answering a few questions about it at the moment. With her go-ahead, Kasper decided to not make things difficult and just ask the basics as the truth will come out later in the future, “how many lives did you live?”

Elektra smiled, that was a good question and the answer will give the general view of everything. Since she agreed, Elektra answered the question, “three.”

Kasper was quiet for a moment; Elektra’s answer gave him the confirmation he needed as he had been guessing it for a while. Cleo was her first life and Elektra her third and she avoided the second life.

Since she confirmed that it was three, then her second life must have not been that pleasant. It must be the life that made her this unique and very strange and he was very curious about it.

As much as he wanted to know about it, having a peaceful home was more important so he curbed his curiosity.

“The last question is how are you going to deal with the people who caused your suffering in your first life?” Kasper’s anger could be heard in his voice as he asked this.

As a responsible husband, there was no way that he was going to let the people who made his woman suffer just live scot-free. They all deserve to be punished and he was going to serve that punishment on her behalf.

Elektra smiled brightly at Kasper after hearing that question, she had been thinking about that issue for a while now and her not so merciful heart had been thinking and not finding an answer for years now.

“I want them to tell the truth but first I want them to experience how it is like to be surrounded by despair, having some little hope and have someone else snatch it from them! since you are my man, you can do me a favor and teach them a lesson on my behalf.”
