CHAPTER 84: 2nd LIFE

Ian didn’t recall fully how he managed to leave intact from the hotel. The shock and fear the young couple made him feel still made his old bones shake with terror.

As a businessman, he had come across so many people and all of them were different. They were nice ones and scary ones, the scary ones at some point even tried to kill him but he survived.

The men he had faced were mostly from the underworld and they didn’t tolerate any B.S and yet they didn’t scare him the way the young couple did.

He lamented because of his misfortune, to manage to provoke such a mighty being, his family was doomed. He barely managed to save his life back then, as for pleading for leniency for his daughter and son-in-law, that was up to fate.

As breakfast was ruined by Ian, Kasper had to take Elektra back to the suite. She was currently in a bad mood and having her be around other people would probably cause a lot of damage and he didn’t want that.

He saw first-hand how mad Elektra can be. It was at this moment that Kasper realized that he was lucky. If Elektra didn’t take him seriously, he would have died without even finding the reason.

Elektra was simply so capable, just thinking of how he took Barry and Miley back then and forced her into his house, he found his actions very laughable. He must have looked like a clown back then.

But all of this wasn’t the issue right now, what mattered was to calm her down and make sure that she doesn’t cause any damage. There were so many strong people out there and he didn’t want anyone to know what she was capable of.

Having someone setting his or her eyes on her, he didn’t want it at all. He had come across several experts in his life and he knows how selfish and greedy most people are.

They will do anything to get their hands on her and he didn’t want anything untoward to happen to her.

Elektra’s eyes were still burning with fury, even though this tragedy had already passed, she couldn’t help but recall all those sad memories. Being unable to see her mother, being forced to do drugs, she had to ………… and then they beg for mercy when she didn’t even let them feel what she went through back then!

Where are they kidding her?

Kasper didn’t let Elektra’s hand go but held it as he looked at her. Elektra knew that her mood was affecting everyone and she had to calm down before anyone gets hurt.

“Darling, it is not good to keep your thoughts within. Tell me about it and let it all out,” Kasper could only say this as he didn’t want Elektra to bottle everything inside her heart.

Elektra’s red eyes looked blankly at Kasper, he was surrounded by this energy that just make Elektra want to wriggle close and lay in his embrace.

His voice was very soothing and it somehow penetrate deep within her and slowly awakened her from the bestial state she was about to enter.

Kasper watched as Elektra’s eyes slowly morphed back to normal and he felt relieved. He didn’t want to know or find out what she was capable of if she really go maniac.

Elektra feeling that she was back to normal, couldn’t help but look at Kasper with gratification, “thank you……thank you for everything!”

Elektra really meant it when she said this, she knew herself very well. The last time something like this happened, the bloodshed was simply over the top and the terror of that day still remained with her.

This is the reason why no matter how much someone offended her, she always tried her best to calm down and prayed that she won’t freak out. But after so many years she finally broke out, luckily Kasper was by her side otherwise she will be retreating into seclusion now.

“We are husband and wife, through thick and thin, I will always be with you. Please trust me, dear!” Kasper seriously spoke as he looked lovingly at Elektra.

“Ummm, I trust you which is why I am going to tell you everything about myself but when I start, you better not even think of leaving me! I will never allow it!” Elektra exclaimed as her eyes flicker dangerously.

Kasper had already seen this side of Elektra before and he loved seeing how possessive she was of him. How can he not enjoy receiving this treatment from the person he dearly loves?

“Umm no matter what you are, what you went through, Kasper will always be yours, dear. I will never leave you for anyone else or any other reason!” he vowed as he assured the young lady.

Elektra smiled seeing that, of course, she knows that he will never leave her, after all, he went through so much to bring her to him. So how could he let her go for some reason?

If he didn’t want her, he would have shown it when he found out about her abnormalities’. Even if he was good at hiding his emotions, she was very sensitive to emotions, she would still know about it but he wasn’t like that so Elektra was assured.

“Okay then, now listen carefully for I will never repeat this ever again!” just thinking of narrating about her life repeatedly made her body cringe.

“Don’t worry, I will never force you to do anything that you don’t want,” he assured her as he didn’t like it to see her in pain.

Elektra smiled faintly and began to tell her story.

As he already knows about the life she lived as Cleo and how she died thanks to Robert, she didn’t need to repeat all of that. What she wanted to talk about was her second life, the life she lived after her death.

It wasn’t very beautiful and recalling it was very painful.

Elektra never expected that she would find herself awake once more. She could vividly recall how those thugs chased her and how she drove recklessly for her life.
