CHAPTER 38: HIS CIRCLE 2

Inside a private room in **** club, three men were seated lazily as they drank some wine while waiting for their other friend to come. They have arrived around thirty minutes ago so that they won’t miss the chance of seeing their friend’s wife.

They had been friends ever since they were young so they knew each other very well. So, to them, it was a shock when they heard of Kasper being interested in some little girl with no background.

As friends, they don’t investigate each other but wait for the other till he or she is ready to spill the beans. Even though they had been waiting for a long time for Kasper to show them the girl he was interested in.

There were many times when they dated girls to just pass time, so hearing that Kasper was interested in some little girl, it was really quite shocking but they all thought that she will not last but who knew they will hear about the marriage?

Alan sighed as he looked eagerly towards the door and the other two friends smiled at him, enjoying how worried the other looked.

“Do you think that the girl is clean?” Alan asked after seeing that there was still no sign from the door.

Nathan who had been quiet all this while as he thought of something that was making him frown, suddenly came back to reality and heard Alan’s question.

“We know Kasper, there is no way he will be enticed by a vixen. I am just curious as to who she really is!” Prince answered as he was someone with total faith in
Kasper’s judgment.

Nathan who was listening to the guys talking finally stepped in, “it doesn’t matter what the girl is like. At this stage, we should be happy for him. We all know what Kasper had been like.”

The three friends looked at each other and sighed. Kasper was a serious person from a very young age, and their gang consisted of six friends including Kasper. Kasper wasn’t a lecherous man and the number of times they saw him with a woman can be counted on one hand.

They always believed that he will never marry or start a family but who knew that one day a child and daughter fell from the sky and just like that Kasper became a father.

Until now, the truth about Anisha’s mother or where she came from was still unknown. They managed to get over it and they all love Anisha like their own.

But who knew that after so many years, Kasper will suddenly get interested in a girl and marry her within a short period of time? And since they couldn’t investigate it, they knew nothing about her and this wasn’t a good feeling.

The three friends kept on talking until there was a sound at the door and all ears stood up while the eyes stared straight at the door anticipating to see the people who were about to walk in.

Nathan who was the calmest of the three clenched his fists for a few seconds and this wasn’t seen by the other guys.

With their eyes at the door, the door finally opened, and in front was Kasper who was dressed casually but they could tell the difference between the Kasper of today and before.

There was a loving smile visible in his eyes as he led the unknown girl they had been waiting for. And when they saw the person who came in, they couldn’t help but be shocked.

What character did their friend marry?

Elektra smiled as she took in the shock onto these men’s faces as she allowed Kasper to lead her inside with care. Holding hands with her husband was just too sweet for her and she was enjoying every second of it.

Kasper didn’t mind the look on his friends' faces as he was also like that when he first saw her. If he had not worked hard, he didn’t know when he was going to see her face. He was glad that he took his time to see it, as something that you don’t gain easily will be cherished for a long time.

Elektra shyly looked away as she didn’t want to be looked at like a clown in a zoo.
Nathan being the older one in the room pasted a smile on his face and quickly said welcomingly, “welcome guys, we have been waiting.”

Kasper nodded at his friend and led Elektra to an empty couch and carefully made sure that she was comfortably seated before he sat down by her side.

The three friends who had been watching this didn’t know whether their eyes were really working well or not. Was this man really their friend they had known for thirty-two years? Why did it look as if he was being possessed?

“Ummm, to think that I will be fed with some dog food even on a day like this! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, how can you guys treat me like this?” Alan the playful one complained teasingly as he looked at Kasper and a veiled Elektra.

Elektra showed a bashful action and pinched Kasper on his thigh to make a complaint and Kasper glared at Alan who raised his glass at him.

“Don’t tease them, can’t you see that our sister-in-law is now being shy?” Prince intervened as he glared at Alan who was just too playful for his own good.

“You…………………..!”

Kasper knew that they were joking so he wasn’t angry and it was time for him to introduce her to his circle, “guys, meet Elektra and she is my wife.”

Kasper had a smile as he made the introductions and the guys could see the love and dotting in those eyes. This was the first time that they were seeing him acting like this.

“And dear, these are my friends namely………………………” Kasper continued his introductions as he held Elektra’s hand affectionately.

“Welcome………………….”

The guys were very welcoming and Elektra was at ease but her eyes couldn’t help but lock with Nathan’s for a moment before she looked away. She couldn’t help but sneer as her mind ran many simulations.

Nathan grimaced as he thought of the goosebumps he just had after being stared at with that mysterious wife of his friend. Something about her just didn’t seem right and his interest in her piqued.

“It is nice to meet you guys. Kasper had told me so much about you,” Elektra energetically spoke as her eyes shone as she looked at the three men who were sitting opposite her and Kasper.
