CHAPTER 25: LET’S GET MARRIED

The tension in the room was so suffocating and so quiet, luckily it was just the two of them in the room otherwise the situation would have been very eerie for anyone else.

Kasper had felt so many mixed emotions in the past ten minutes or so as he listened to Elektra’s confession. Ever since he brought her forcefully to his mansion, Elektra had not really made her stand on where they really stood.

Kasper knew that he just didn’t want her body but he wanted her whole which is why he didn’t force her to sleep with him but became patient. He just never thought or expected that the day he will get to hear her confession; will be like this. Was he hurt by what he just heard?

Yes, he was. Kasper had never loved any woman except his daughter and mother, his first love can be considered to be Elektra so hearing her telling him that she didn’t love him, took him by surprise.

But the more he listened, the more at ease he became. Even though her words were a bit hurtful, he was glad that she had told him the truth and not played him like a fool.

Being in society and being at the top of the food chain, Kasper understood how vain ladies can be when it comes to being with men of his caliber. So, hearing Elektra being truthful like this, made him love her more.

So, what if she didn’t love him? He was going to make her fall head over heels for him in the future and he has a long future to do that.

What he loved hearing about this confession was the declaration Elektra made at the end. It made his cold heart melt and gave him the urge to go and scoop her in his arms and just smother her with kisses.

How could she look so cute when she was angry?

Elektra was very nervous actually; she was scared that Kasper may find her overbearing and end things with her. she really likes Kasper and parting with him, wasn’t something that she has in mind.

It wasn’t easy for her to find someone who possesses the kind of energy Kasper has that made her stronger by every minute. It was the greatest reason why Elektra agreed to be with Kasper in the first place but after being with the man for
months, she began to see other qualities that made her like him more.

Since she had this inkling that she will never be able to find a guy who would tolerate her the way Kasper did, a daughter who loves her like Anisha, she just didn’t want to throw this away simply because her background was special and she possess a lot of secrets.

Elektra looked at Kasper very anxious as she waited for the man to say a word and she didn’t want to push him so she waited until he was ready. Luckily Kasper didn’t let her wait for long.

“I wanted to talk to you and apologize for what I did back then. I didn’t mean to burst out on you and make you sad, I was just so angry and jealous that you were so close to that man, and yet when it comes to me, you act that distant. I just couldn’t accept it, so I acted out,” Kasper wasn’t a man who liked explaining himself but being with Elektra who was way younger than him, he knew that if he didn’t say a word, misunderstanding will definitely grow.

He didn’t want to admit it before but after contemplating for days, he knew that he had to do it but he still couldn’t face her which is why he had been delaying confronting her.

“We could have just sat and talked, instead of giving me such a cold shoulder. Are you not afraid that I will just run away?” Elektra raised her eyebrows as she questioned with a faint smile on her face.

The tension in the room was no longer that cold, intense but warm and it made the two be at ease with each other.

“I am glad though that you told me this otherwise I will still be doubting. I know that we started on the wrong foot but I want you to know that my feelings for you are real and …………………………………….”

Elektra wanted to kiss the man all over as he poured his heart into her for the second time. This time, his feelings felt very sincere and Elektra liked the man even more.

The two had a very intimate conversation for some time and shared happily the remaining bottle of red wine. The relationship between the two can be considered to have greatly improved.

By the time they went to bed, they were both drunk, luckily, they didn’t do anything but simply slept soundly together. When Kasper opened his eyes, afraid that whatever happened was just a dream, he smiled when he saw the little girl by his side.

Because they were so engrossed in confessing to each other and letting their hearts out, he didn’t get to see what Elektra was wearing.

So, when he opened his eyes he looked longingly at the girl by his side, she was wearing one hell of nightwear and it made him want to do something to her.

Looking at her sleeping soundly, he didn’t want to disturb her so he quietly left the bed and went to take a very long cold shower which helped a little bit.
In bed, Elektra’s lips rose as she changed her sleeping posture. Since the man acted crazy on her last time, she didn’t mind making things a bit difficult for him.

The day was peaceful and even the servants felt the change and they were thrilled. Having these two not talking and being at peace with each other made life very difficult for them.

So, seeing the two talking together, the servants simply prayed for the two to be together for a very long time.

Later that night, Elektra resumed her storytelling and her story was about to come to an end. It was left with at least four chapters, and the gruesome ending was on its way.

After ending her Livestream, Elektra went to the master bedroom where she went to the bathroom, cleaned herself, and changed into another sexy number she believed was going to drive Kasper with so much lust.

When Kasper walked into the bedroom, Elektra was busy playing with her phone, so when Kasper all of a sudden from nowhere went down on his knees and asked her that question, ‘will you marry me?’ Elektra was just so dumbfounded and shocked.
