CHAPTER 91: PUNISHMENT 2

The day felt very long but knowing that someone could help them out of this predicament, Pearl and Robert felt that there was much hope. At this moment, Pearl was suffering from severe pain and her legs were numb.

Her leg that was shot by the ice was so cold and somehow it looked as if it was freezing, the sight wasn’t beautiful and all Pearl could feel was fear and trepidation towards that woman.

They were in the wrong but did they deserve to be treated like this?

The doctor that had been referred to them finally arrived and he looked very young but the aura that surrounded him made those that see him just want to respect him.

He looked as if he had this halo behind him and Robert, Pearl, and Ian could tell that this person was reliable. As someone who practiced martial arts and was into medicine, he was interested in all sorts of cases, so when he heard about the case of this couple, he immediately stopped what he was doing and decided to go and check them out.

However, what he saw the very second that he walked into the villa made him tremble with fear. He had never seen something like this before. He had seen men and women who practiced the devilish arts and yet no one was capable of making things this scary.

The house was full of dark energy that slowly devoured the surrounding life energy in the area. He was just a doctor and this was out of his control. He didn’t know many martial artists and they were just too busy to come and give a hand.

So even though he knew that it was going to be troublesome from the start, he still wanted to see the patients with his own eyes and when he set his eyes on them, he knows that it was a failed case.

There was no way that someone like him or his master was going to be able to treat these people. He had heard of cases like this and every martial artist out there, feared people who had these abilities to cast such horrendous and evil spells like this.

So, when Robert and Pearl who had felt so much hope after seeing the Master arriving were shocked with what the doctor said before they even exchanged greetings.

“I am afraid that only the person who cast this on you is the only person that can lift this. If it was a normal case, I would have helped but this… I am afraid that I am not qualified,” the man shook his head with pity as he said this.

Even though this was interesting, there was no way he was going to offend a Grandmaster for some money.

“This… is there really no way?” Pearl who had been kept stuttered with a shaky tone as she asked this.

Her tears were already streaming down her cheeks, she already knew the answer but she couldn’t help ask as she wanted to confirm.

The doctor shook his head with a helpless expression on his face, “I am afraid that there isn’t if you know the person who did this. I would advise you to find him/her quickly before things get worse.”

The doctor didn’t even give them a chance to talk before he turned around and took his leave. The three people watched with shock as the man they hoped will solve all of their problems just leave like that.

Pearl wasn’t able to take this and she fainted right away. Who cared about what that man talked about, Pearl’s condition was what mattered right away and Robert became busy instantly?

Ian felt all of his energy seeping away, just thinking of going back to that hotel, it made him feel so much dread. As Ina was thinking of what to do and how to go back there, something even eerier happened.

From nowhere, in the morning, the veiled woman simply walked into the room without being detected. Ian was so shocked he automatically fell to the floor.

The men who saw an intruder in the house couldn’t help but rush towards her trying to restrain her but before they could even reach her, more people appeared in the house and everyone was knocked out within seconds.

It didn’t even take minutes for all of this to happen and this really brought so much fear onto Ian, he wondered the reason why this woman was here on her own.

“It’s useless to fight against me. I don’t want to hurt you, after all, you didn’t cause too much damage unlike those two,” Elektra sneered as she found a solo sofa to sit on.

Watching as the veiled lady made herself comfortable as if she was in her own house, Ian didn’t want to live anymore.

As the commotion done in those few minutes was not very quiet, Robert who had been busy checking his wife and making sure that she was okay after she fainted, also heard it.

He made sure that Pearl was secure first, before taking his gun and rushed downstairs to see the situation for himself and when he found out the mess there, he lost all of his power.

He felt very weak, finding his men lying unconscious on the floor and a familiar face that he dreaded so much and wished he could personally strangle and end with his own hands, sitting on his sofa as if she owned the place, he didn’t know what to do.

“You should make your way down here fast; I don’t have all the time in the world. I have a husband and a child to take care of,” the lazy voice of Elektra sounded in the room and it was in a mocking tone.

Robert despite his unwillingness, still forced himself to move towards Elektra who was guarded by four masked people. The masks themselves were so scary and he was no fool to not know that whoever was hiding behind those masks just like their Mistress, were people to not be trifled with.

It felt like ages as Robert approached Elektra, Ian who had been frozen on the floor managed to stand up weakly and he sat in one of the sofas. He knew her very well, and he didn’t want to disturb anything.

It was better to find a seat and make himself scarce unless he is wanted. After a while that felt like decades, Robert finally was standing in front of Elektra and his expression was very grim. He didn’t look very happy at all.
