CHAPTER 24: NOT A GOOD PERSON

There are so many times when she wanted to find this host, tie her up, and beat the hell out of her for always leaving her and many others hanging like that but she couldn’t do anything.

As much as she and the others hate the host, they also love the other. She was different from other live streamers and her stories were just so good that they felt as if they were real.

For those that were in the group on IONIQ, an even more interesting topic was being raised and this made those who harbored malicious intentions towards Lady Frost forgive her and do some gossiping.

As people were crazy over that night’s chapters that left them hanging especially with how they didn’t know what was going to happen to Hope and her daughter, it was better for them to go and argue on some conspiracy theories and try to figure out where this story is going.

After finishing her story, Elektra’s mood was chilling. In order to calm herself down as she waited for Kasper who was not home even around eight, she went to soak herself in a tub full of hot water and froze the whole tub in anger.

After leaving the tub, she picked sexy black lingerie from her closet and wore a robe on top to cover her revealed skin. Since she was indoors, she didn’t see the need to cover her face, so she went to the living room, pour herself a glass of red wine, and began to watch some T.V while she waited for Kasper to go home.

Kasper wanted to return home but when he remembered the cold war, he just didn’t want to go there. After hearing the reports on that person Elektra met when in Bares, he began to feel as if he was being played.

When he first saw Elektra, he knew that he wanted her so he did some investigation into her and it wasn’t deep but he got everything that he wanted. but after living with her, Kasper began to realize that Elektra might have been playing him.

There were so many strange things that were happening around Elektra, he couldn’t understand and this bothered him. He tried to find the connection between Elektra and that man and yet he failed to find it.

He had been with Elektra for months and their relationship was stagnant, he couldn’t call hugs and kisses any improvement at all. He was a man with needs and he felt like Elektra was holding him off and he didn’t like it at all.

If he sees her, he was afraid that he may do something that will make her run away from him and he didn’t want to lose him especially when he was sure that he was really in love with her and wanted to be with her.

He just didn’t know how to make a truce and make her smile at him, return to his bed and be a loving couple as they used to be. He really regretted suspecting her like that, if he had been patient and trusted her, maybe things would have been easier for the two of them.

When he arrived at the mansion, it was around ten in the evening and he was sure that Elektra was sleeping as she was usually in bed around this time. He had drunk a bit so he was feeling a bit uncomfortable from all that.

So, Kasper who thought that Elektra was sleeping was very much shocked when he saw Elektra without a veil on drinking some wine as she watched a movie. Elektra turned her head when Kasper walked in, and she lifted her glass to him.

“Go upstairs and change, and when you are done, come back here. We have a lot to talk about!” Elektra simply barked orders at Kasper and there was no room for negotiation in it.

Kasper was taken back when he heard this but something inside him stirred and his gloominess lowered a bit. Since the lady wanted to talk, Kasper went upstairs and in ten minutes he was done with everything and returned back to the living room.

When he arrived, he sat on one of the couches and poured himself a glass of wine and was shocked to see that Elektra had downed a whole bottle by herself and he began to feel guilty for leaving her in such a situation.

“I am going to do the talking and tonight you just listen and contribute later. Can you deal with that?” Elektra asked as she swirled her wine glass lazily.

To be honest, seeing Elektra in this manner made Kasper who had been dying to eat her just want to pin her on that couch and ruthlessly love her like a mad man but he knew that it wasn’t time yet.

He was going to wait and listen to her first before deciding where to go from there further.

“I am all ears,” Kasper agreed since he was also curious to hear what Elektra wanted to talk about.

Seeing that Kasper was cooperative, Elektra’s mood also improved and her gloominess dissipated a bit, “before you and I met, I had a life and so did you. I really hate it when someone looks into my life, if you want to be with me then you should at least trust me and wait for me to tell you about it when I am ready.

But since we are in this already and I agreed to stay here and become your woman, I do understand how you feel but when I say that I will not leave you and be with you, always remember that I mean every single word I say.

I cannot say that I love you, that will be a lie. To me, love is a complicated emotion that I can’t really easily accept but I like you and don’t really hate you. Because you make me feel that way, I will try my best to be with you and stay by your side.

The main reason why I wanted to talk to you was to tell you about my feelings and hear what you think about it. I am not a good person and will never be. If you are with me, you will find out that there is so much that I am keeping from you and maybe I will never tell you.

Things you will find, see or hear in the future will be so shocking that you may end up regretting being with me in the first place. So, before this…whatever we have between us go anywhere, I wanted to let you know about this and hear your own side.

And lastly, if you agree to be with me after everything that I just told you, I want you to know that no matter what animal or beast I become in the future, I will never allow you to leave me and I will do so many crazy things to make sure of that!” Elektra’s voice was ice-cold as she made her statement.

For the first time in his life, Kasper found himself tongue-tied and without words.
