CHAPTER 65: TREASURE 3

Elektra didn’t corrode the jade container but carefully opened the top box after infusing some spiritual energy and she was also on alert as she didn’t want to be caught unaware.

Elektra’s anticipation was very high, she was very scared of what was in the box but at the same time, she was happy that after a very long time, she was finally seeing something that she thought she would never see in this world.

Elektra opened the box and if she was a cartoon, the contents in the box will be emitting a halo-like the leads in any books or movies.

Elektra’s face finally cracked and a huge grin surfaced, of course, this couldn’t be seen as the black veil was covering everything at the moment. Her hands were a bit shaky as she lowered her body a little to pick one of the items inside the box.

Inside the box there were five huge soft stones, this was for people who didn’t know what these things were but for Elektra who had seen these things for years and had been using them for years, knew exactly what she was seeing.

Elektra wanted to cry but she knew that this would be madness if she did. The second her hand touched this soft stone, her blood began to boil, happy and celebrating. She knew what her body wanted and it wanted her to absorb this right away.

This was a core from a mutated tree that was probably a few centuries old, and it was very good for her as well as her babies or her men like Fox, Barry, and Miley.
Elektra excitedly picked the remaining cores one by one and exclaimed with happiness. She also found three cores from animals but she wasn’t sure which animals they were but the cores were very special as they were neutral cores.

They didn’t belong to any type of ability user; any user could use them and benefit greatly from them. and these were cores that she could use and advance greatly after use.

As for the other two, they were all plants cores and suitable for plant users or earth users. Among her ten ability users which were her generals, she has only two people like that, so it was easy for her to distribute this.

Elektra returned four cores into the jade container and made them vanish into her dimensional space. Elektra didn’t waste any second and quickly sat cross-legged on the ground with the core in her hand and began to cultivate.

At this point, Elektra didn’t care or even bothered how anyone could find cores like this in a world that had never faced a calamity like an apocalypse. This world was completely peaceful unlike the second world she lived in. Living in an apocalyptic world truly messed her up and she learnt how to appreciate every second she has now.

It wasn’t easy to find a single core and one had to kill and soak hands with the blood but now all she did was spent money and a lot of time and she received five cores just like that. How can she not be touched?

As it had been long since she absorbed a core, especially a high-graded one like this, Elektra’s blood was boiling and her absorption rate was frightening. When she began absorbing, it was around four.

The sun came out and all eyes were on that white tent but no one could get near it. The seven babies of Elektra could feel the barrier that Elektra erected and they weren’t fools to go there and disturb her.

They waited and waited, and yet there was no sign of Elektra coming out of the tent. They tended to their duties and had the food hot and waiting just in case Elektra comes out.

And the person everyone had been dying to see, finally came out of the tent and it was around ten at night. Her aura was scary and they could all sense especially the ability users that Elektra was leveling up.

They were no longer strangers when it comes to this and they all knew and understood how difficult it is for anyone to level up. They were very respectful towards Elektra, so when she came out and they sensed it. Automatically the seven ability users immediately bent the knee and lowered their heads.

This was not something others get to see every day, since their leaders were kneeling for Elektra, the lowly soldiers who craved to be strong and be like their leaders, followed along.

Elektra didn’t really like being worshiped like this after all she was not a god but these kids were very special and kept on doing things like this. At least she didn’t get to see it every day otherwise she was going to hide somewhere far where they couldn’t see her.

“You may all stand up! Tonight, is a happy night and you will all be rewarded for your great work. Your leaders will speak to you and take this chance to your advantage as this will not come again easily!”

Of course, the men were very excited even though they had no idea what Elektra was talking about. Their leaders will explain to them anyway so they didn’t need to overthink too much.

The men finally stood on their feet and Elektra became relaxed. The legion that Elektra brought felt as if they were no longer in the world that they know and everything that they have been experiencing wasn’t real at all but little did they know that they haven’t seen anything yet.

Elektra took a warm bath first, changed her clothes, and ate a hot meal. She gathered her seven generals to her tent where she convened a meeting.

“I found something very special and useful in the trunk but I can only give it to Jasmine and Bear as they are compatible with the cores. But I will not forget all of you and give you something that will also aid your cultivation,” Elektra announced as she looked at the men and women who had been fighting for her, for years now.

“As long as we get to serve you that is all that matters!” Barry spoke as he sincerely looked at the young lady who changed and saved his life before.

“Just give me some time. I will be dealing with something short and when it is all done, we shall have a meeting with all of you and at that time I shall give at least two men from each camp an opportunity to be like you. Also, I will have you all upgraded as you can’t be at the same level with your subordinates.”

This news was very exciting and it made their blood boil. How long had it been since they received such an honor?
