CHAPTER 47: BIRTHDAY BANQUET 2

Celia has heard about this mysterious sister-in-law, to be honest as the youngest, she was spoiled rotten and her older siblings loved her a lot. Kasper was a bit cold than the others but his love for his family could be seen.

As a younger sister, she wished for her family to be well, and seeing her older brother having a family was one of her wishes. Because Kasper was a bit cold and too detached, she had always worried that he will live by himself.

But then Anisha appeared and everyone was happy however Kasper still didn’t find a girlfriend or wife. How can they not be worried?

After so many years, there was finally some good news and Kasper got married to some unknown student. How can she not be curious?

There was one problem, however, crossing Kasper was something that she and her brother Bryce were afraid of. So, they waited anxiously for the day that Kasper was willing to show them Elektra and after waiting for a long time, today was the day.

So, when Celia saw the familiar figure coming out of the car, she was so excited and she couldn’t help but croon her neck to see Elektra. Her brother was someone she had seen for twenty-three years and it was enough for her.

She didn’t get to wait for long as a silver stiletto flashed out of the car and a fair hand was held in Kasper’s hand. Everything was like in slow motion and there was only silence as no one said a word, waiting for the mysterious lady to come out.

Elektra had a hidden smile in her eyes as she slowly got out of the car, for this banquet. Elektra was wearing a midnight purple gown with very thin strips and an open back that shows cased her fair partial back but above all showed that majestic red fox at the corner that made her look very alluring.

Elektra was wearing a diamond jewelry set, from head to toe and it made her look very sparkly. Her long silver hair cascaded down her back and covered part of her back and only showed a portion of it and that red fox could be seen.

And as usual, her face was covered with another veil and they couldn’t see her face at all but only those eyes that looked misty with the eyeshadows applied on them.

[Damn! She looks hot!]

[Who is she?]

[She must be dear to Master Kasper’s heart for him to throw such a huge banquet like this!]

Kasper was wearing a silver suit with a matching midnight-purple shirt that fitted him perfectly as if he was born with it.

Elektra looked curiously at the guests who were outside waiting for them to enter and she held Kasper’s arm tightly. She had seen for a long time how these ladies drool for her husband.

There were even some who were daring to confront her at home like Alice and Jill. Since this was her first day to officially and publicly be seen as Kasper’s woman, she was not going to give anyone a way to take advantage of her man.

Kasper smiled affectionately at Elektra as he caressed her hand, “just be at ease. Today is your day, so just enjoy it.

Elektra hummed in acknowledgment and let Kasper lead her inside.

Celia who was witnessing this lovely moment wanted to scream with happiness but she decided to cool down and act like a lady.

“Brother, you are finally here!” Celia excitedly said as she approached the two elegantly.

Kasper nodded at his baby sister with a smile on his face, Celia wanted to just go and kiss her brother but by doing that, won't she be sending herself to an early grave?

“Umm, let’s go inside,” Kasper acknowledged Celia and went inside.

Bryce smiled seeing how his brother was being overprotective of his wife and he decided to catch up with him later as standing outside wasn’t good.

Everyone went inside and all eyes were on Elektra and Kasper. Anisha was inside already and at the high table. There was no need for her to go and welcome her parents as she sees them almost daily.

Aaliyah didn’t come to the party as she was just too angry to do that, after being cheated by Elektra back then. There was no way she was going to grace her with her visit unless she comes to the mansion to see her.

Elektra finally sat down and hugged Anisha who wore an excited expression on her face, “happy birthday, mom!”

Elektra smiled at the child she gained through marriage, “thank you, darling.”

Celia was in the middle of scrutinizing Elektra and seeing the interaction between Elektra and Anisha, she was shocked for a moment before calming herself down. She had heard from Anisha how her new mom was the best and all that, she had thought that it was just a child talking big and trying to make the family-like Elektra but seeing the two now, she had this inkling that things may really be true.

She wanted Anisha to have a loving mother who loves her and cares for her, she didn’t want any scheming person near her beloved ones. Women were also tricky and unless you observe them for long, you will never know what they are truly capable of.

With the stars of the night present, the banquet officially started. Elektra didn’t like talking a lot so Kasper the husband took this moment to declare to the world the real purpose of this banquet.

“Thank you all for coming to this birthday banquet. Today is a very important day for someone dear to my heart…………………………………….blah blah blah,” Kasper slowly spoke to the guests as this was very important to leave to an M. C.

Jill was among the guests and she wasn’t feeling okay at all. listening as Kasper spoke sweet words about this little vixen, she just wanted to rip Elektra's façade off and let everyone see what a rip-off she was.

But if she were to do anything silly on such an important day, she would lose someone she keeps dear to her heart and she wasn’t ready to lose Kasper yet.

Alice wasn’t present as she had not been invited so there was one less competitor. Most of the ladies’ present had ugly faces as they watched their prince charming looking lovingly at another woman who was hiding under a veil.
How could they easily accept that?

But causing trouble was only attracting trouble not just for them but for the whole family, and they were not willing to risk it simply because they were dissatisfied.
