CHAPTER 85: 2nd LIFE 2

She didn’t want them to catch her, even though she owed them some money which she didn’t willingly borrow as she was forced into taking drugs, that didn’t mean that she will allow anyone to take advantage of her.

She also had her mother’s diary and there was no way she was going to let anyone take that away from her but still in the end she still perished.

She died with a lot of regrets and at that moment, she wondered if she can be given a second chance in life to make up for the wrongs that she did. If she is given a chance to make up for it, she was willing to do anything.

What she never expected was for her dream to be fulfilled. Elektra woke up in an unfamiliar world, residing in a body of a twenty-year-old college student.

The girl she became was very pretty, she possesses a face that could bring down nations. Elektra at that time didn’t know what to think of this but since she had been given a second life, she decided to cherish it and make up for her regrets.

The world was beautiful and even though she wasn’t rich in this world, she was just happy to be able to live again.

Her mother was a mistress and the woman only cared for herself, even though she was selfish, Elektra wanted to love her and be with her as a family.

She was close to her half-sister, her father’s legitimate daughter, and this feeling she never had before was very new and she liked it very much.

Elektra lived care freely and forgot that life wasn’t beautiful all the time and that she should be vigilant against others.

One day the world that she came to love suddenly changed, from nowhere red acidic rain graced the Earth and horrible changes began to happen everywhere.

Elektra who had watched numerous horror movies knew that whatever she was seeing was that notorious zombie virus and she never thought that she will get to experience it.

For her life and her mother’s, Elektra did her best to not be eaten and turned into a zombie.

With the world in chaos, people and animals turning into zombies, the people were in a frenzy. Elektra and her mother followed the rest of the family to the base and on their way many things happened.

People were killed and it wasn’t just with the zombies but people began to kill each other as well.

They managed to reach the base, people began to manifest some abilities and things began to get better for them. At least those with abilities could fight against these zombies and make the world better.

Elektra’s half-siblings all of them managed to get their abilities to awaken but she wasn’t that lucky. As someone who had transmigrated, she wasn’t even given a single ability, how laughable was that?

Living in a world where food had become very rare and everything had to be earned the hard way. To live a better life, her own mother sold her to a man with super abilities for some benefits.

Elektra really found this situation crazy. To think that a mother can do this to her own child, just what kind of world was she living in?

She didn’t have any abilities and she couldn’t fight against this. To think that Elektra will find herself in this crazy situation, she couldn’t help but laugh and mock herself.

She had been so relaxed all this time, thinking that she had been given a second chance to rectify her wrongs. This was the reason why she had been so good; she didn’t cause any trouble for anyone.

She loved everyone and didn’t even do any harm and yet in the end it was the person she looked up to most, that betrayed her.

For some bread, cigarettes, and drinks, her own mother sold her and send her to the wolf’s den.

Her life became so horrible, that sister she loved and followed like a puppy abandoned her. It was at this moment when she was being sent to several men for their pleasure, being starved and treated like a slave that she realized that everything had been a hoax.

No one had ever cared for her, that sister of hers was just pretending and she managed to gather so many followers as she has a space dimension filled with a lot of supplies.

Elektra was used as a sex slave, a plaything to be toyed with for two years. She became so skinny that she was skin and bones. She didn’t get to eat her full and bathing was a luxury she couldn’t afford.

If it wasn’t because of her pretty face, they would have killed her already. However, one day when her main capture who had been making money with her was out on a mission when a familiar face belonging to her half-sister came.

She didn’t know what to think of her arrival but when she was promised to be taken away from this place and rescued, Elektra momentarily forgot that this sister was a snake.

She just wanted to leave and even if she makes a deal with the devil, she didn’t care. She put her life in the hands of this snake and in the end, she got bitten and this time it really hurt.

Elektra was shoved into the zombie horde after the half-sister exposed an ugly truth that froze her in place. Elektra didn’t have any strength when the zombies gnawed on her body with relish.

Even the second she died again; she was simply clueless even though she had known for a while that death was awaiting her. It is just that she didn’t expect to die under the hands of someone she once used to put closer to her heart.
This was another great lesson she learnt.

Living as a zombie wasn’t that pleasant, because she was a low-level zombie. She didn’t know what she was doing and lived like a puppet for years. Elektra just like any other zombie would rush towards any human she finds and feed off their flesh.
