CHAPTER 73: SETTLING DOWN

The master bedroom was beautifully decorated and it looked very appealing. Elektra took a quick tour of the room and was very satisfied. The help was preparing their supper, she could smell the aroma all the way where she was.

“I will be taking a bath; do you want to join me?” Elektra asked coyly seductively and shamelessly.

Kasper glared at Elektra with an ‘I will deal with you’ look before giving his response after embracing her in his arms, “we can do that later. If I join you, I am afraid that Anisha will have a lonely supper.”

His voice was raspy and very attractive, Elektra couldn’t stop herself from licking his neck and sucking it for some seconds leaving a hickey there, “then it is your loss.”

Kasper’s blood was boiling at this moment, seeing how shameless she was acting, provoking him to act, he so wanted to pin her down and take her right there but it wasn’t the time. The night was very long and all he needed to do was be patient for a few hours and she will be all his.

Elektra giggled as she swayed her body to the bathroom, provoking her husband had become a habit that she couldn’t stop no matter what. She loved how ….ummm… thinking about it will just make her lose focus, so she decided to quickly clean up and join the family.

Kasper also cleaned himself in the study bathroom and changed quickly. He didn’t want to be seduced by Elektra anymore so he left the bedroom and went to find his daughter.

The two of them waited for Elektra as they played a game in the sitting room. Elektra joined the two family members and she was wearing a simple white dress with no veil on.

Anisha looked at Elektra with a worshiping gaze. Having a beautiful step-mom for a mother was something that most children didn’t have. With such a fairy by her side daily, did it even matter that this woman wasn’t her real mother?

She looked like an angel and Anisha wanted to keep this look in her memory forever. Elektra joined the two and sat next to Anisha and kissed the little girl on her forehead.

“Let’s take a photo,” Anisha excitedly suggested and Elektra being a mother who spoils her child, agreed immediately.

Kasper became the cameraman again but he didn’t mind. The servants served the food and Kasper and his family went to the dining room. The servants couldn’t take their eyes off Elektra, she was too beautiful but the cold gaze they received from Kasper was enough to give them the harshest warning they can receive anywhere.

They enjoyed their supper and took a walk around the villa, seeing the place as they digested their food. After the walk, they returned inside the house and Elektra set her phone for her Livestream. The current story was still ongoing but about to end so she still had work to do.

Kasper and Anisha sat on the side and didn’t disturb Elektra as she narrated a heartbreaking chapter that left even Kasper wishing to kill someone. He made a mental note that no matter what decision she makes, he was going to make those people for what they did to her.

Since he knew that most of the stories that Elektra narrated were true and the current life was about her previous life, he was very emotional and didn’t know what else to do to make Elektra not recall such painful memories.

After the story, Elektra went to Anisha’s bedroom and told the next chapter of the bedtime story that she was currently telling the little girl. Anisha dozed off quickly with tears hanging on her eyelashes.

Elektra leaned down to kiss her forehead before leaving the bedroom with a sleeping girl inside. She went to the master bedroom and found Kasper already in the bed with his phone in hand.

Elektra headed straight to the bathroom where she washed her face and changed into a nightgown before joining her husband. As she had provoked her husband earlier, Elektra was punished affectionately and she had a hard time waking up the next day since she didn’t like the idea of getting rid of the pain with her powers.

The next day, she woke up a bit late but still managed to get herself to look presentable and wore something black as she was going to the cemetery later.
She kissed her husband and Anisha good morning before joining them.

Breakfast was very fulfilling and harmonious. Even though it was hard to leave Anisha behind, they still had to and Anisha who already knew that at some point she will be staying at home by herself could only sulk as she watched the cars leave.

Anisha wasn’t idle at home as she called her grandma to brag about the things that she had seen so far. She didn’t forget to send her grandma and aunt Celia some photos they took yesterday.

Kasper drove the car himself and followed the directions given by Elektra to the cemetery. When the car entered the gates of the place with numerous graveyards everywhere, Kasper began to think of the day when he finally gets buried and leave the world. What will his beloved do when he is gone?

Kasper didn’t like death at all which is why he avoided that topic as much as he could. He was too greedy to be with his beloved ones, he didn’t want to leave them even for a second. So why should he die and just disappear like that?

If he were to be given a chance to become something so that he may be with the people he loves, he was very much willing. He parked the car and embraced Elektra in the car without saying a word.

Elektra could sense the loss in Kasper and she didn’t want to irritate the other, so she only comforted him and let him hug her to his heart’s content.

The couple didn’t say a word but they understood each other perfectly. They got out of the car after five minutes and under Elektra’s guide, Kasper finally found himself headed towards the direction of the two graves he never thought he will be seeing in his lifetime.

As the graves were not close to the road, they had to walk for a while and in the process, they met others who came to visit their beloved ones and those that were burying the deceased. The place carried just a lot of negative energy which wasn’t good for kids.
