CHAPTER 94: PUNISHMENT 3

What these people didn’t know was how Elektra had this humiliating moment recorded. She wanted to look at it whenever she is down and if in the future, they try anything funny, she was going to wave this in their eyes.

Just like she promised, Elektra didn’t make their lives miserable and let them stand up when they were done.

“I am very satisfied with your actions tonight. Like I said I will reconsider healing you and that can be done if you give me two billion in just forty-eight hours. Failure to deliver it, then you can live like this for the rest of your lives. I can assure you just like that quack doctor said, no one else apart from me can heal you,” Elektra flaunted her skills to the three people who were in agony.

Who told them to ask for forgiveness in that manner?

She had wanted to truthfully leave the curse and make them turn to their peak health for a small price but their actions made her want to suck them dry and earn some money from these people.

“You…” Pearl was so angry when she heard this, she just wanted to cuss Elektra out but Robert and Ian stopped her quickly before she makes things worse.

Elektra raised her eyebrows in dissatisfaction as she glared angrily at the furious Pearl, “I don’t care about how you feel about this whole situation. Of course, you can choose not to pay, it’s not me who will suffer in the end.”

Her words pierced them coldly and they could all tell that she meant every single word.

“The choice is all yours and once the time limit is over, no matter how much money you offer me, I will not treat you!” Elektra said these words firmly as she scanned the three coldly with her eyes.

She didn’t wait for them to respond and left the three of them to their own devices. Robert watched with clenched fists as Elektra was safeguarded by those men.

It was every man’s dream to have such powerful people by his side and it will be a catch if the man himself is strong like the veiled lady. Being this weak made Robert hate himself.

He hated the fact that he wasn’t able to protect Pearl and he watched helplessly as Pearl was forced to kowtow to the two people that she hated the most.

“I still can’t stand that b***! Are we really going to just let her do whatever she wants?” Pearl finally burst out after Elektra left.

Ian sighed as he watched this silently, who knew that one day he will be forced into this kind of situation.

“It is never too late to get revenge. We need to go home and I will deal with the money issue and solve this as soon as possible,” Robert pacified his wife first and made the decision.

Since Robert had already decided for everyone, Pearl could only calm herself down and hoped that it won’t be too late like he said.

The three returned home and Robert was very busy trying to gather as much as possible. Ian wasn’t also idle and lucky for him, Gordon managed to sign the deal so all problems he was afraid of were finally solved.

Gordon was on his way back to the country and Ian was very happy to hear that. He truly needed someone by his side right now and Gordon could also come up with some great ideas that could save them.

On the other hand, Elektra wasn’t in any worse shape. Even though she had watched those three kowtowing to her mother, she didn’t feel any nostalgia for what happened.

She just hoped though that her mother was also lucky like her and received a second chance in life. She just wanted her to be happy and not suffer in her next life.

While she waited for Robert to gather the money that was needed, the family of three wasn’t idle as well.

Elektra took Anisha to many places to play. Playing with Anisha and spending a lot of time with her family made her hatred lessened. It wasn’t worth it to spend one’s life just plotting on someone else’s downfall.

It was better to take that energy and use it to spend as much quality time as possible with your beloved ones.

This is exactly what she did, she went places with Anisha and ate a lot of good food. As they had gone to the amusement park on the first day and lost all of their energy there, the other places they visited were the aquarium, museum, and zoo.

They took a lot of photos and videos; Elektra also made these two family members of hers eat a lot of junk food and they really loved it.

Of course, she could imagine how Kasper was going to force her to eat a lot of healthy food when they return to Vrak but that was something for another day and she didn’t want to think about it.

While they were having fun and preparing to go back to Vrak, Gordon finally arrived making Pearl cry a river of tears. Seeing her brother, made her feel very emotional.

With Gordon with them, the marathon for looking for the money became much easier and the money was quickly gathered. As most of the money was tied up, they were forced to borrow some money and sell some of their assets.

It was very painful but there wasn’t anything that they could do as saving lives was more important than any money.

When the money was gathered, Ian alongside Gordon went to the hotel to seek an audience. As this issue had been hidden from Gordon, it was his first time to see the people that had been causing trouble for his family.

Of course, he wasn’t eligible to take any revenge as he was also very weak to fight against them. He just wanted to see what kind of people were so capable of turning his fathomable brother-in-law, someone he greatly respected like that.

And his curiosity got the best out of him!
