Her Passion 4
Ethan felt like his skin was crawling, his ears ringing incessantly, while his inner wolf howled and called for the mate he knew he had.
It had been almost a full week since he had finally found his soul mate in the attractive girl he had treated so harshly with his friends, and as hard as he tried not to get the image of her pain-distorted face out of his mind. It seemed to repeat over and over in his head, as if his wolf was punishing him for not following his instincts from the beginning.
What the hell was he supposed to do? The thought that she had left and was not coming back scared the hell out of him. When an alpha wolf found his mate, the need to claim her and be with her all the time was stronger than anything he had imagined when his father had explained it to him.

He had learned her name from the secretary, apparently she had the last name of the only female shifter in the school and practically bit her head off when she even considered it to the girl.
He grinned, though it soon turned into his usual scowl as he inwardly fretted over how he had acted towards her.
Ethan's POV:
"You're a mate already?" Levi, also known as Leo asked cautiously, everyone had been sneaking around him since he had blabbed, and now his rough mood was at a whole new level, his beta found. Most were trying to stay away from him as his wolf was already surfacing and all he could think about was the raven haired girl.
"What do you think?" I growled at the slightly smaller boy in front of me, mockingly taking note of how he took a few steps back at my tone. You'd have thought he'd be more assertive with his alpha blood, but he knew Leo hated it when people mentioned his blood.
"Did you get the girl's name, buddy?" he asked suddenly, scratching the back of his neck while not looking at me. I stared at him with a raised eyebrow, why the hell did he want to know?
"Yes," was my flat reply, at which point his eyes widened slightly.
"And...." he urged, letting my mind wander to what I could remember about her. I wished I had listened to the signals earlier and taken the time to take her in, because I could remember little else but her curves. I knew she was hot, that much was clear, but I had been so focused on how my wolf was behaving that it was taking away from my normally very attentive mood.
"Ava," I said, my tone softening.
I felt my eyes glaze over as I thought of her. I growled and rubbed my face in my hands as I sat on the corner of my bed with my head down. What was I going to do? I knew I couldn't live without her. When a wolf meets its mate, he has no choice but to claim it at some point or he would go mad. Normally that wasn't a problem, because a wolf mate should be perfect for him in every way, but I had to screw that up, didn't I?
"Ava?" asked Leo suddenly, his eyes wide as if he couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"Yeah, why?" I asked with narrowed eyes, if he knew anything I was going to get it out of him whether he wanted it or not.
"Shit! Shit... what's her last name?" he asked, running a hand through his hair.
His sudden change of heart made me curious, and I straightened my back as I watched him with sharp eyes. He knew something.
"Oddly enough, the same as yours, but that's ridiculous, isn't it ..." I broke off, and my eyes widened as I saw the hopeful expression on his face while his eyes shone with realisation. It was then that I remembered that both he and Sophia had a sister who had run away when she was younger. Why didn't I know, since Sophia was even more spoiled than I was?
"Wow," he breathed, my eyes widened and in a second I was standing in front of him, my height meaning I could easily look down on him to make me even more intimidating.
"You know where she is, don't you?" I asked, my eyes shining with hope, but my voice was rough and hard. My wolf craved anything to do with my mate; I needed her more than I cared to admit.
"I can't believe you treated her like that!" Leo suddenly said angrily as something clicked in his head, but the next moment I had my hand wrapped around his throat and was pushing him against the wall, making him groan in surprise and pain.
"You WILL tell me where she is, don't forget your place, Leo," I hissed, my voice filled with my alpha command that made it impossible for him to resist my request even if he wanted to. It worked on all of them; even if they didn't turn, I could give them orders as long as they were part of my pack.
"I... I can not breathe," Leo brought out with a gasp, his arms still at his sides, but his hands twitching in an attempt to keep from breaking free of my grip. He knew it was useless, that if he tried to break free it would only make me more angry. I smirked, he was smarter than I gave him credit for.
"Talk," I spat, loosening my grip enough to make him slump, but not letting go. I might trust him, he's one of my closest friends after all, but that didn't mean my mate came before him. If he'd information about where she was, then I wanted to know, whether he thought it was important or not.
"I haven't seen her, but I think she's my sister," Leo breathed out, and the command kicked in, which meant he'd no choice but to answer, even if he looked pained.
"Your sister?" I asked dumbly, finally releasing him from my grip as I paced my room while he gasped, leaning against the wall. I rolled my eyes, if he hadn't hesitated for so long he wouldn't have had the benefit of my command. Quite simple, actually.
"Yeah... she mentioned she was starting a new school, so I wanted to get started on the first day," he explained, which only confused me more. I quickly turned to him and snorted when I saw he was still on the floor, leaning back against my deep green walls.
"I thought you said she disappeared?" I asked frowning, had he been lying to me?
"Bullshit," he scoffed, "she was kicked out when she was younger, we keep in touch but only to make sure we're still alive, if you know what I mean," he explained, but the only words that reassured me were that she was kicked out! How dare they kick my mate out!
I felt myself shaking with anger and my eyes flashed dangerously yellow as I saw Leo quickly stood up as he slowly and carefully moved away from me.
I'd have laughed if I hadn't been so angry, how dare his parents kick out my soulmate?
What the hell were they thinking, even if she hadn't been my mate, she was still a female, which meant she shouldn't have been a rouge in the first place. Didn't they know how dangerous it was out there, especially for one of us?
"You KICKED her out!" I growled at him, my tone filled with pure rage as I tried to suppress the urge to track down his parents and tear my fangs down their pathetic throats. Now, I thought, my respect for them was gone.
"Look, buddy, that's in the past, but you really need to calm down," Leo tried to argue, but it had no effect until his next comment, "I can help you, me and Ava get along fine considering the situation, but I can help you win her over," he quickly explained, calming me down enough tomake me stop shaking. I didn't realise how close. The last thing I needed was to mess up my room when I turned into my wolf form here. My room was large, but thanks to my Alpha gene, I was a very impressive size for a wolf.
"You're going to help me win her over?" I repeated, still in a harsh tone, but I felt hope blossom inside me when he suggested it.
"Yeah, buddy, I'll help you," Leo said, knowing he'd to help me win his sister over if he wanted to get the pack back into the relaxed mood it had been in before. I sighed, I could only hope that she'd give a second chance.
