Chapter 100 Grudges
After the coffin landed, two individuals jumped down from the helicopter, one in their thirties and the other in their forties.
Joseph walked straight up to them and said coldly, "What is the meaning of this? It's my daughter's birthday, and you show up causing trouble?!"
Ethan couldn't help but look up and observe. The man in his forties appeared spirited and robust.
The man in his thirties had a lean figure, with his temples slightly bulging.
"This person should be from the Watson family in Boulder... I heard that the Watson family and the Miller family have had a long-standing feud!"
"The relationship between these two families used to be quite amicable, but I heard that the Watson family took an unlawful path. As a result, Master Miller severed ties with them and directly drove them away. Little did he expect that the Watson family would prosper and become a regional power after settling in Boulder!"
"When Master Miller Ruben drove the Watson family away, he directly presented them with a coffin, saying that they were not following the right path and should prepare for their demise..."
"So now the Watson family is seeking revenge?"
The guests started discussing animatedly, gradually unraveling the full story of the situation.
No one dared to speak loudly, as they never expected someone to cause trouble at Joseph's event!
At this moment, Ruben, Joseph's elder brother, stepped forward. Despite being in his sixties, with half-white hair, he still appeared vibrant and far from his age.
Connor stood by the coffin, slowly caressing it with his hand, and sneered, "Back then, when we were driven out of Massachusetts by the Miller family, Ruben presented us with a coffin! Today, on my father's orders, I have come to return this coffin to the Miller family!"
Hearing this, everyone took a sharp breath, shocked that only the Watson family would have the audacity to bring a coffin to Barbara's birthday party!
Barbara's expression couldn't help but turn sour. This was supposed to be a joyous day, yet someone was here to cause havoc!
"The Watson family didn't follow the right path in the beginning, so I had to cut ties with them. It was only natural," Ruben said calmly.
"Why waste time talking to them? Just have someone kick them out!" Joseph said with a grim face. He was even considering murder at his own daughter's birthday banquet.
Connor chuckled and said, "Oh? Is the Miller family planning to bully others by outnumbering them? They can give it a try!"
Ethan couldn't help but shake his head and sarcastically comment, "Someone as arrogant as him wouldn't last three hours in our prison!"
The guests fell silent, instantly attentive when he spoke.
Everyone looked at him as if he were a fool. What was this idiot saying? How dare he call the people from the Watson family arrogant? And claiming they wouldn't last three hours in his prison?
Connor gave a cold glance and then turned away.
The man beside him frowned, and Connor said, "No need to bother with this insignificant pest. We came here for the Miller family today."
"Hmm..." The man nodded slightly.
Ruben didn't mind this small interruption and said calmly, "The Watson family wants to offer a gift, but we are not obligated to accept it."
Connor sneered, "This coffin was originally a gift from you to us, and today, we must return it to you!"
The man beside Connor also spoke, "Joseph, I am Remington, the head of the Boulder Tiger Gang division, accompanying Mr. Watson to deliver the gift!"
As soon as he spoke, the expressions of the people at the scene changed involuntarily.
This Remington turned out to be the heir of the Tiger Gang; his origins were too frightening!
Ruben's face sank slightly. "I didn't expect you to be from the Tiger Gang."
"I am here to deliver the gift for the Watson family. If the Miller family insists on not accepting the gift, then please send someone to defeat me! If anyone can defeat me, we will take this coffin back to Boulder. But if no one can do it, then you must accept it!" Remington said arrogantly, not giving Joseph, the mayor, or Ruben, the tycoon, any respect.
Ruben nodded. "Go and bring Mr. Levis here!" he said.
Not long after, the Miller family brought their guest. This guest was already in his fifties, and Ruben had spent quite a sum to invite him back then.
This person is here to settle the crisis that requires the use of force for the Miller family. Edwin smiled and said to Ethan, "The Watson family is likely not going to leave my sister's birthday party unscathed. When the time comes, they can sit in this coffin and row back to Boulder!"
"That's not necessarily true," Ethan said, looking at Remington seriously.
"Hahaha. Mr. Levis was an expert in the military in his early years, quite formidable! You just watch how he makes that man from the Watson family beg for mercy!" Edwin chuckled.
Bernice was surprised to see Joseph's son voluntarily talking to Ethan again.
What abilities does Ethan possess.
"I don't want to say much to an arrogant young man like you. Since you insist on seeking death, I won't stop you!" Mr. Levis said coldly, walking forward.
"Well, let me experience it then," Remington sneered, taking a step forward, facing each other.
Henry watched this scene and couldn't help turning to a middle-aged man next to him. "This Mr. Levis is probably no match for him, Logan. You can try to intervene later to help the Miller family through this crisis, and it will be easier for me to pursue Barbara!"
Logan nodded slightly and said with a smile, "No problem."
Henry turned his head to look at Ethan, a sinister smile on his face. Once off the boat, he would have Logan cripple this kid directly!
"You better change the person who's going up. Mr. Levis is probably not a match for Remington," Ethan said as he approached Joseph.
"Master, what you're saying..." Joseph frowned, feeling somewhat unhappy.
They haven't even started fighting, and Ethan dares to make judgments?
Ruben, standing nearby, also said coldly, "How could you possibly know how formidable Mr. Levis is? Be quiet and stay aside!"
Truly a big shot, the way he speaks and carries himself is extraordinary, leaving Ethan somewhat bewildered.
Just then, Mr. Levis made his move, his figure like lightning, instantly appearing in front of Remington, raising his hand for a palm strike!
"Three moves and he'll lose," Ethan shook his head, noticing the hidden injury on Mr. Levis' left leg.
He believed that Remington would also see it.
"What nonsense are you talking about? Are you siding with someone else?"
"What do you know, you bastard? Don't think you can just babble because you're lucky with cards!"
"What nonsense are you spouting here?"
