Chapter 070 Kneeling for Three Days

"Kneel down and apologize before speaking to me," Ethan's expression turned cold as he saw Christine, and he said in a calm tone.

Christine's face immediately darkened. Yesterday, at the Smith family, she stated that if Ethan could come up with the money to purchase their relatives' contracts, she would kneel down and apologize.

"Ethan, it's already this serious, and you still want to cause trouble!" Bernice pushed Ethan away, feeling annoyed.

Things have already escalated to an extremely urgent level. If the situation isn't handled properly, the Smith Group is likely to go bankrupt, and everyone will be finished.

Bernice's face turned pale, a bitter smile appeared on her lips. If only she had known earlier, she wouldn't have contacted Sienna last night. And she should have directly pulled Ethan away from the banquet instead of leaving him alone there.

"Sienna? Does she even deserve that!" Ethan said coldly.

"Ethan, do you have the qualification to speak here? You are just a burdensom son-in-law who married into the family, always causing trouble. If it weren't for Gene's incident last time, you wouldn't even have a place here," Christine retorted.

"Genral Walsh cherished the past, and because of you, our whole family is being slowly destroyed! Close your mouth and go together with Bernice to Sienna's doorstep. Kneel there for three days and nights, begging for her forgiveness! Otherwise, I will personally make sure your legs are broken." Christine's face grew dark as she signaled several burly men.

Bernice lowered her head, sighed deeply, and said with frustration, "You don't need to lay a hand on me, I'll handle it myself... Ethan and I will kneel until Sienna forgives us!"

"Bernice, control your useless husband!" Mason's expression was cold as he reprimanded.

Christine sneered and said, "Bernice, didn't you understand Sienna's words? She wants us to tie you up and bring you to her doorstep to kneel for three days, not for you to go on your own! Do you think I brought these people here as decorations? Will you kneel down defenseless, or shall I let my men get rough with you?"

Bernice couldn't help but be shocked and said, "Is it necessary for you to do this? I'll tell Grandfather!"

"This is Grandfather's arrangement!" Christine said disdainfully, "Your recent actions have deeply displeased him, do you still have the audacity to mention him?"

"Tie them up," Christine said coldly.

The several burly men immediately stepped forward, grinning eagerly. They looked forward to binding a beauty like Bernice and relishing the memory later!

Ethan took a step forward, blocking Bernice in front of him, and said indifferently, "Let's see who dares!"

"And who do you think you are? Are you not afraid of us?!" Christine sneered coldly. "Ignore him, if he dares to obstruct, just eliminate him!"

As soon as they received the order, the men moved without hesitation and were about to take action.

However, Bernice shook her head at Ethan and said, "Don't stop them, this is the only way to resolve this."

As she spoke, tears welled up in her eyes, overwhelmed with grievances.

"Get lost!" Just as the men were about to approach, Ethan emitted a cold snort.

"All useless. How dare you bully Bernice in front of me?" Ethan said coldly with a smirk.

These burly men had all been effortlessly defeated by Ethan, which astonished the members of the Smith Group.

Christine exploded in anger and said, "Ethan, you dare to obstruct our decision, especially when Bernice has already surrendered! You...Rebellion! I will report this matter to my grandfather and have him drive Bernice out of the Smith family!"

Ethan coldly retorted, "Just solving a Sienna is enough, why bother making Bernice kneel? I have to say, you are all fools."

After saying this, he reached out and grabbed Bernice's wrist, saying, "We will resolve this matter, but definitely not through kneeling."

"You will resolve it? And how will you do that? Looking at you like this, what else can you do besides kneeling and bowing to Sienna?
