Chapter 035 Sky Heaven
Drunk with thoughts of lust all day long, Dorothy had instead allowed Ethan to take advantage of her. He frowned, never expecting Dorothy's alcohol tolerance to be this poor.
It was not a good idea to leave a drunken woman unattended, so he could only take her back to Sky Villa.
After the car arrived at Sky Villa, Dorothy's eyes finally opened slightly as she mumbled. At the top of the mountain, Ethan pulled Dorothy out of the car. At this point, Dorothy was almost fully awake.
Everyone in the country knew that Sky Villa was the most prestigious area in Boston, a place only for the super-rich and powerful. And at the peak of Sky Villa, there was only one villa, which was known as "Sky Heaven"! There had long been legends about this villa in Boston.
"Ethan, is he the owner of Sky Heaven? Wasn't he a prison guard? How could he live here?" Dorothy exclaimed in surprise.
"You're awake?" Ethan noticed Dorothy waking up and couldn't help but say so.
Dorothy nodded apologetically, touched her sore forehead, and said, "I'm sorry, I drank too much."
Ethan replied, "Then go back on your own, all right?"
Dorothy was extremely surprised. This guy had no sense of propriety! It was one thing to take advantage of her while she was drunk, but now that she was awake, did he expect her to go back on her own? Did he expect her to walk back?
"What do you mean? Help me out already! I came all the way here, and now you want me to go back on my own. If something happens to me, how will you explain it to Bernice?" Dorothy crossed her arms and exclaimed angrily.
"Well, that's true. Then come inside with me. You can rest here for today. There are plenty of empty rooms anyway." Ethan thought for a moment, opened the door, and let Dorothy in.
Dorothy saw him swipe the keycard to open the door and couldn't help but be astonished again. It seemed that Ethan truly was the owner of this villa!
"This villa...is yours?" Dorothy asked in surprise.
"It was a gift from someone else," Ethan said impatiently, kicking off his shoes and walking in.
He casually pointed to a room next to the staircase and said, "You can stay here. It's ready for you, but there are no clothes for you to change into."
"Okay…" Dorothy was still in shock and couldn't find the words to say anything else, so she could only nod repeatedly in agreement.
At the same time, bitterness filled her mouth. The estimated value of this villa was around two billion! How much was two billion? Even if you sold the Bush Group of the Bush family and Bernice's Smith Group together, it wouldn't be enough to buy this villa!
"I truly underestimated him. I didn't even recognize his status and position." Dorothy had such a thought in her mind.
At the same time, she couldn't help but wonder what Bernice would think if she was brought here by Ethan.
Ethan glanced at Dorothy and said, "Relax, you don't need to be so restrained. I don't have any ulterior motives towards you."
After hearing these words, Dorothy rolled her eyes in anger. This statement was a bit too hurtful.
"I... I want to look around, is that okay?" Dorothy was curious about this legendary villa in Boston and asked a bit embarrassedly.
"Feel free to look around," Ethan shrugged. "I'm going to take a shower and rest. Do as you please," after saying that; Ethan went straight upstairs.
After wandering around the villa, Dorothy exclaimed, "This is the life of the wealthy... With the furnishings, this villa must be worth at least twenty or thirty billion!"
Just as she was about to go back to her room to rest, Dorothy heard the doorbell. She leaned closer to the monitor and saw a woman standing at the door.
"...It's General Diana, the female war goddess of America..." Dorothy's tongue rolled our of her mouth, shocked at the sight of the person on the monitor.
Diana had come again, probably to persuade the "King of the Nightmare" to return.
Diana pressed the doorbell for a while, but in response, Dorothy couldn't help but sigh.
Then Diana said, "King of the Nightmare, I know you must be in there. Can you give me a chance to meet and talk?"
Dorothy was so frightened that she couldn't even catch her breath, staring blankly at Diana on the monitor.
"I will come again, sir. You shouldn't remain depressed because of what happened in the past..." Diana sighed as she didn't wait for a response. After saying these words, she turned around and left.
At this moment, Ethan poked his head out from the second floor and asked, "Aren't you drunk? Why aren't you resting? What are you waiting for? I told you before, I have no interest in you."
Dorothy didn't have time to be angry and hurriedly said, "No... Diana just came, she rang the doorbell, but I didn't dare to open the door..."
When Ethan heard this, he paused for a moment, then snorted coldly, saying, "Good, don't open the door. That woman is an arrogant lunatic. I don't want to see her again."
"The woman who helped you at the bar today, is she Diana's person?!" Dorothy remembered something and asked.
"Her name is Michelle, just one of Diana's subordinates. An equally arrogant person as her master," Ethan sneered.
Dorothy was thunderstruck and stood there dumbfounded.
Diana, she was like a prodigy, a figure that they all looked up to!
Back then, they even imagined; what would happen if Ethan and Diana met? But now, Diana came personally to seek an audience with Ethan, and he even rejected her at the door. It was too exaggerated, too unbelievable. It made Dorothy’s worldview feel like it was on the brink of collapse.
“Hey!” Dorothy snapped back to reality and shouted, but found that Ethan had already left, apparently returning to his room.
Helplessly, Dorothy suppressed the many doubts in her heart and went back to her own room to rest.
Lying on the comfortable bed, she could hardly sleep all night until the early hours of the morning, when she finally drifted off.
Ethan, on the other hand, had no psychological burden and slept soundly. The next morning, he rudely knocked on Dorothy’s door without any gentlemanly manners.
“I’m leaving, get up quickly!” Ethan said calmly.
“Can’t you let me rest a little longer?” Dorothy rolled her eyes in anger, feeling that this guy was too heartless.
Shouldn’t being woken up in the morning involve a warm bowl of honey water being served?
Even if there was no honey water, being given the boot directly was just too much!
Ethan had no intention of chitchatting with Dorothy. He had to report to the Aim Group today, thoroughly finalize his work, and then return to the Smith family to deliver results.
Otherwise, Robert would keep trying to arrange for him to work at the Smith Group, which would be quite troublesome.
Although Dorothy wanted to complain, she quickly realized that Ethan wasn’t in the mood and reluctantly got up.
Halfheartedly, Dorothy tidied herself up and got dressed in her boozy clothes. To her surprise, there already was a ready-made breakfast for her to eat.
“It seems like he’s not bad after all...” Dorothy said with a satisfied smile as she looked at the steaming breakfast.
