Chapter 098 Unacquainted with the World
Ethan and Barbara had already entered the dance floor, dancing to the lively music.
Henry stared at the scene, tightly clenching his fist, his nails piercing his flesh, yet he felt no pain.
"Who is this guy?!" Henry turned around and asked someone.
"Ethan, from the Chicago McKellen family."
"What?!" Henry was startled.
"But he was already expelled from the family, and before that, he had been engaged to our country's warrior goddess, Diana. However, Diana unilaterally broke off the engagement. It seems that he has now married Bernice, the president of the Smith Group. Henry, there's no need to worry. He has no background now; he's just a lowly prison guard, nothing but trash."
After hearing the explanation, Henry breathed a sigh of relief. It turned out that he was just a scion of a noble family, nothing to be feared of. Henry could easily crush him by waving his finger.
The Bush family was a prominent family in Boston, and their family's traditional martial arts school had spread across Massachusetts.
Bush Boxing was even hailed as a treasure of the entire state.
Watching his daughter abandon Henry to go dancing with a married man, Joseph couldn't help but shake his head slightly. However, he wouldn't say much.
Over the years, he had come to understand many things. As long as his daughter was happy, that was enough.
Holding Barbara's hand, they swayed slowly on the dance floor, attracting much jealousy.
"How could he have Miss Miller invite him to dance?"
"Look at his shabby appearance, is he worthy of Miss Miller? Only Henry deserves that kind of honor!"
"A worthless person like him is worthy of dancing with Miss Miller? Disgusting!"
Although Ethan had defeated Alfredo, everyone still held him in low regard. Seeing him dance with Barbara, everyone was extremely disdainful.
Barbara looked at Ethan and said earnestly, "Thank you so much. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have been able to move on from my past. Maybe my life would have ended like that!"
"You're welcome; it was just a small gesture." Ethan smiled.
If Jane had heard this, she would have scoffed and thought he was arrogant.
But Barbara didn't think so. She smiled lightly and said, "You've given me a new life. How can I ever thank you enough?"
Ethan pondered for a moment and responded.
"Live a good life; love life!" As the music ended, Barbara let go of Ethan's hand and said, "Could I have your contact information?" Ethan handed her his phone, and she directly added her account to it.
Bernice, who was watching from a distance, felt even more irritated. It was one thing for Ethan to be invited to dance by Barbara, but now they had exchanged contact information?
Dorothy, upon seeing this, couldn't help but mutter, "Mr. McKellen is mine; no one is allowed to snatch him away!
"Mr. McKellen, you are so unkind. I was the one who invited you to dance first," Dorothy complained as soon as Ethan returned. Without waiting for Ethan to say anything, Dorothy immediately dragged him towards the dance floor.
Henry wanted to warn Ethan, but in an instant, he saw him being taken away by another woman, sparking surprise and anger in his eyes. "I never expected this loser to be quite popular with women!" Henry snorted coldly, feeling even more dissatisfied.
Bernice paused, not expecting Dorothy to drag Ethan and continue dancing. She clenched her teeth secretly. "If he invites me later, I'll give him some face and dance with him," Bernice thought to herself.
"I'm not jealous; it's just pity for him! After all, we are supposedly married, and constantly rejecting him would be discouraging." Dorothy pressed herself against Ethan's chest, her chest rising and falling against his tuxedo, softly and tenderly.
"You're not allowed to dance with any other woman from now on!" Dorothy said fiercely, glaring at Ethan. Ethan looked at her with a puzzled expression. Dorothy angrily said, "Did you hear me?"
"Why not?!" Ethan questioned.
"In any case, you're not allowed!" Dorothy grumbled. Suddenly, her hand moved, discreetly descending to firmly grasp Ethan's crotch. The movement was subtle, with the two of them being so close, and no one saw this scene.
Just as Ethan was about to get angry, Dorothy let go of his hand, and then coquettishly said, "I'll be jealous if I see you holding another woman!"
Barbara glanced at Ethan, who was dancing with Dorothy, her face showing no emotion. It was normal for such an excellent man to attract women. Her calmness stemmed from her confidence in her own qualities and her family background!
Ethan, who grew up in prison, had never encountered such tactics from a woman before. He took in a sharp breath and couldn't summon his anger when faced with Dorothy's expression of coyness and dissatisfaction. "Fine, blame it on my lack of worldly experience!" Ethan cursed inwardly, enduring the pinch from earlier. However, Ethan wouldn't just tolerate it.
With a sudden motion, his hand that was supporting her waist moved downward, and fiercely squeezed the most elastic part in the same way!
Dorothy felt as if she had been electrified, and involuntarily lay her whole body against his chest.
Ethan, whose nostrils were filled with the scent of Chanel No. 5, couldn't hold back anymore. After having Dorothy stand up, he quickly let go of her and took a step back.
"This perfume is so bold and captivating..." Ethan couldn't help but let his mind wander again.
Dorothy blushed slightly and smiled at Ethan, saying, "You're quite shy, aren't you? Have you never been with a woman before?"
Ethan crossed his arms and retorted, "Nonsense."
"Are the prisons you've been to co-ed?" Dorothy looked at Ethan disdainfully, asking with contempt.
Ethan blushed, coughed twice, and said, "No... After all, I used to be a scion of a prestigious family. Isn't it normal to dabble in romance?"
Dorothy remained skeptical, scrutinizing him for a while before saying with a smile, "You're quite adorable."
At that moment, Henry walked over to Ethan.
"Mr. Henry!" Dorothy's expression turned serious upon seeing Henry, and she politely greeted him.
"Hmm..." Henry merely nodded in response, nonchalantly, and then stood in front of Ethan.
One dressed in a designer suit, exuding elegance; one dressed casually, out of place.
Ethan smiled faintly and asked, "What's the matter?"
Henry jumped straight to the point, saying, "Stay away from Miss Miller from now on. Don't let me catch you together again, or I won't be polite! If any of your hands touches her, I'll cut off that hand of yours."
"You can't even glance at her! Otherwise, I'll gouge out your eyeballs!"
"Do you understand?"
