Chapter 033 Fierce

"Jasmine is here and that man should be Jasmine's backer!""

Dorothy saw Jasmine walking out of the office with Paddy and couldn't help but feel a shiver down her spine.

The people around them, after seeing Jasmine, all stood up to greet her.

When they saw Paddy, they immediately bent over and respectfully greeted, "Mr. Paddy, good evening!"

Paddy gracefully waved his hand and followed Jasmine towards Ethan and Dorothy's booth.

Dorothy complained bitterly to Ethan, "Most likely Jasmine overheard what you said just now. Those two women who supported you have left, and her backer has come... What do we do now?"

With a sneer, Ethan didn't even look at the two approaching. He played with a dice in his hand and silently drank.

"I didn't expect Mr. Paddy to be in the bar today. I wonder who this guy found as his backer. He made peace with Jasmine, but now, it's probably inevitable!"

"Yeah, he took advantage of the situation, and now he's acting all high and mighty. Isn't it better to enjoy the benefits silently? Why must he say some filthy things? Now, Mr. Paddy has been dragged into this!"

"Mr. Paddy is an honored guest specially invited by our Tiger Gang's branch in Donghai Province. Just now, Phil got beaten up badly, but Jasmine let him go with just a few words. It's all because she's considering Mr. Paddy's reputation."

The crowd murmured in low voices, while their eyes, filled with joy from another's misfortune, turned towards Ethan.

Dorothy was almost frightened to tears, her face turning pale. Ethan was being rude, and now he had attracted a big shot. ‘How would this situation end?!’

Jasmine, holding Paddy's arm, walked up to Ethan and pointed at him without saying a word.

"Young man, when you live your life, you should know your limits and stop when it's appropriate," Paddy said and smiled slightly.

Ethan remained silent and drank his alcohol with his head down.

Paddy continued, "Out of respect for General Walsh, I came here to give you a warning, don't take advantage and act clever. I won't make it too difficult for you. Stand up now and punish yourself with three cups. After drinking them, kneel and apologize to Jasmine for the foolish things you just said. I won't hold it against you."

As Paddy spoke, someone began to flatter him.

"Mr. Paddy, whether in personal or professional matters, you always demonstrate great magnanimity. In the face of such a ruffian, you still conduct yourself like a gentleman!"

"You insolent brat, don't be ignorant! Mr. Paddy has already given you a way out. You dare to be disrespectful to Jasmine, so apologize quickly!"

Upon hearing these words, Dorothy couldn't sit still anymore and hastily stood up.

She stammered to Paddy, "Mr. Paddy, my friend is drunk. Everything he just said was just drunken talk. Please don't mind."

Paddy chuckled and said, "Of course, I don't mind at all. Otherwise, I wouldn't have given him such an opportunity."

"Who are you, that you would give me an opportunity?" Ethan mumbled, retorting.

"Who is Mr. Paddy? To be able to speak calmly with you is already showing you respect! At this moment, you still want to be pretentious and remain seated while talking to Mr. Paddy? And aren’t you being disrespectful?

"I think you've grown tired of living! Do you know that Mr. Paddy is a member of the Tiger Gang branch? It would be a piece of cake for him to end you right here on the street with just a word!"

Ethan shook his head a few times and quietly added two ice cubes to his glass, saying, "Too noisy."

This person couldn't help but be provoked by Ethan's words and angrily said, "I'll give you three seconds. Stand up and apologize to Jasmine and Mr. Paddy. Otherwise, without Mr. Paddy having to intervene, I will make you understand the price for such arrogance!"

Ethan finished his drink in one gulp, slammed the glass heavily on the table, and suddenly stood up, swiftly giving the person a resounding slap across the face.

"Haven't you heard that I find you annoying?!" Ethan's slap was not light, sending the young man flying out of the booth's railing, landing on the ground unconscious.

Seeing this scene, Dorothy's vision darkened. This was a disaster. Her backing was already gone, and Ethan was causing trouble again. Who would protect him now?

"This guy... but I must admit, he's truly fierce!"

"Jasmine's bar has rules, don’t cause trouble here, but he deliberately ignores them. Now, he even hit someone right in front of Jasmine and Mr. Paddy."

"He's not just fierce, he's..."

"There's a problem with the bar... causing a scene at Jasmine's bar, just now, Jasmine saved him from humiliation, and that probably won't happen again!"

When everyone saw Ethan attacking someone in front of Jasmine and Paddy, they all became excited.

Jasmine's face darkened completely, angrily saying, "Just now, I saved Michelle's face and tried to resolve the situation peacefully. You don't appreciate it and instead gossip behind our backs! Now, not only do you refuse to back down, but you dare to physically attack someone. I think you don't care about the rules of our bar, do you?"

Ethan chuckled and said, "Gossiping behind your back? I can say the same thing to your face."

People involuntarily gasped, every one of them too afraid to speak. It was the first time they had seen someone daring enough to speak those words in front of Jasmine.

"You are unfair in your actions, and you talk to me about rules? Do you think you can act superior just because a few people support you from behind? Sorry, but I won't fall for that. And, you know what I dislike the most? People like you, who enjoy pretending to be superior."

After finishing his words, Ethan directly placed his foot on the table, leaning forward with his hands on his upper thighs, smiling slyly while saying, "Now, do you still think I'm gossiping behind your back?"

Jasmine's face turned from black to red with anger.

Paddy's face also darkened.

Dorothy immediately sat heavily on the sofa and took two gulps of alcohol to calm herself, hoping that this fiery dispute wouldn't involve her.

"Turn on the lights," Paddy said coldly, his temperament becoming increasingly icy.

The waiter hurriedly turned on the lights.
"Mr. Paddy is truly furious. No one has dared to be so presumptuous in front of him since he became a distinguished guest of the Tiger Gang."

"Yes... Even though Mr. Paddy gave him a chance, he didn't appreciate it. Now he has completely provoked Mr. Paddy. Do you think he'll get away with it?"

The crowd discussed and speculated on how Ethan would meet his end at the hands of Paddy.

Just then, with a click, the main lights turned on.

The dizzying, colorful lights that swayed were turned off, and the bar was filled with a scorching white light.

Ethan saw Paddy standing next to Jasmine clearly, and couldn't help but laugh, saying, "It's you!"
