Chapter 182 Natalie's SAT Score

"Are you trying to disrupt the current harmony in this family, ruin my relationship with your sister, and even put yourself in a very embarrassing situation?" Kevin's words now carried a blatant threat.
Kevin's words held a dual meaning. It could be interpreted as Natalie's actions jeopardizing family harmony while also potentially intimidating Natalie, who already knew some of the things he had done to her.

In this way, Kevin had room to maneuver and was able to test Natalie's reaction to see if she would be frightened by him and whether she truly knew about what happened that night.

"Why do I dislike you? You should know better than me! What did you do to me that night, Kevin?" Natalie stopped abruptly, on the brink of continuing, trembling with a deep blush of shame on her face.

"Natalie, I didn't do anything to you that night; I've been very clear with you. Nothing happened between us; it's for the best, isn't it? Do you really wish something had happened that night? If that were the case and if word got out, not only my life but also your sister, your family, and even yourself would be ruined."

Kevin reached out, gently caressing Natalie's smooth, tender cheek, and softly said, "You are at the age of youth, with excellent grades, exceptional looks, and an unlimited future ahead. You are sure to meet your Prince Charming. If something truly happened, all the beauty in your life might be lost. I don’t want you to lead a bleak existence. That night, if I hadn't arrived in time, you might have been ruined by that scoundrel."

"Kevin, I know I was wrong. I won't dare any more in the future." Natalie shivered, her face drained of color, fear trembling in her voice as she spoke to Kevin.

"Alright," Kevin comforted. "We are family; we should resolve matters amicably, right? As long as you are obedient, I will certainly cherish and love you and provide you with the best."

A trace of sinister excitement crossed Kevin's smile as he slowly slid his hand down from Natalie's arm to her back and took her tender, delicate hand while speaking warmly into her ear, "Come, let me teach you how to check your scores."

"No! Please, Kevin, I can check it myself. Let me do it," Natalie protested with a frightened shriek, drawing her body away in a nervous struggle.

"All right, you check them yourself then. I'll just watch over you; just ask if you're unsure of anything," Kevin replied, sensing the moment's tension. He withdrew his hand, resting it instead on Natalie's shoulder.

Natalie sneakily glanced at Kevin, her forehead beaded with sweat. Left alone in the house with only them, Natalie was very afraid that her cold, snake-like brother-in-law would make inappropriate advances towards her.

Natalie realized that if Kevin would really do something to her, she would be powerless to resist.
Furthermore, if something had indeed occurred, she didn't dare to speak up. Her mother was protecting Kevin; her sister loved him so dearly. If she told her mother and sister, they wouldn’t believe her. If she told anyone else, her life would be ruined. Faced with Kevin, Natalie could only silently plead in her heart, praying that Kevin wouldn't do such a thing to her.

She prayed that Kevin, considering her as his younger sister-in-law, would spare her. Feeling Kevin relent, Natalie finally let out a long sigh of relief, her tense body finally easing a bit.
Trembling, she moved the mouse and opened the website to check her grades. Following the requirements, she input her name, examination registration number, and identification number, and after a series of identity verifications, the grades page opened.

Kevin immediately looked at the report card, his eyes brightening involuntarily.

Name: Natalie, Total Score: 1486 points.
Looking at Natalie's report card, Kevin suddenly became excited. For someone like him, a student who did not excel academically, a score of 1486 points was an unimaginable stellar achievement.

The minimum admission scores for Harvard and Cambridge University seemed to be around 1400 or above.

Natalie's total score of 1486 could definitely qualify for a try at Harvard or Cambridge University.

However, this score still left Natalie somewhat disappointed.

Her weakness in mathematics had dragged her down.

If she aimed to apply to Harvard or Cambridge University, getting into her preferred major with such a score would be challenging.

This score wasn't sufficient, leaving Natalie feeling a bit disheartened.

One thousand four hundred eighty-six points fell short of Natalie's target of 1500 by 14 points.
