Chapter 229 No Sex During Pregnancy
Kevin's initial reaction was one of surprise, followed by a moment of blankness in his mind. After a brief pause, he ecstatically embraced Scarlett and asked, "Really? Darling, are you sure?" The thought of soon becoming a father filled Kevin with a mix of unease and excitement.
The unease stemmed from Kevin feeling unprepared, while the excitement came from the imminent arrival of his own child. Despite being married for a long time, their intimate moments had been infrequent, and due to financial constraints, they had not seriously considered having a baby.
Kevin had even entertained the thought that he and Scarlett might have fertility issues.
Now, with the sudden news of a baby on the way, Kevin was caught off guard but also felt a sense of relieved excitement.
"Of course, I'm sure! I took a day off today and went to the hospital for a check-up. The doctor confirmed that I am indeed pregnant." Scarlett happily blushed, leaning shyly on Kevin's shoulder, brimming with anticipation.
"Kevin, do you prefer a boy or a girl?" Scarlett asked with hopeful anticipation.
"Whether it's a boy or a girl, they are the embodiment of our love, so I love them both. But if I had to choose, I actually prefer a girl. A daughter is a daddy's little sweetheart, and of course, I adore my little sweetheart," Kevin said with a smile, planting a kiss on Scarlett and running his fingers through her silky hair in contentment.
"Darling, I'm so happy. We finally have a baby! I used to think I couldn't bear children." Scarlett shyly looked up at Kevin, her lips exuding a seductive allure.
Kevin's previously ignited desire, stirred up by his sister-in-law and mother-in-law, flared up once more. "Darling, you look so beautiful right now," Kevin sincerely praised, capturing Scarlett's lips in a passionate kiss, eagerly savoring each moment.
"Honey!" Scarlett responded passionately to Kevin's kiss, hugging him and gently rubbing against him.
Under the intense kissing, Kevin's erection returned, his unsatisfied desire making him unbearably hot. He slipped his hot hand under Scarlett's clothes, into her bra, grabbing her soft breast.
"No, honey!" At this moment, Scarlett seemed to remember something, pushing Kevin away excitedly. "No, honey, I have some bad news for you. I'm a pregnant woman now; the doctor said that during pregnancy, we can't have sex. From now on, you can't seduce me."
"What?" Kevin immediately looked innocent and said painfully, "Then, what should I do? Ten months of pregnancy, you want me to hold it in for ten months?"
"I can't help it! I'm a pregnant woman now! Our precious baby is inside my belly!" Scarlett proudly boasted, patting her still flat stomach with a sense of accomplishment. "If you can't handle it, you'll have to manage on your own."
"How would I manage it myself?" Kevin glanced at Scarlett's charming lips, grinned mischievously, and said, "Maybe we can explore other options above."
Kevin still possessed some basic knowledge. It was indeed advised to refrain from intimacy during the first four months and last three months of Scarlett's pregnancy.
This period turned out to be quite advantageous for Kevin. Without the obligation for conjugal duties, he was free to release his seeds wherever he pleased.
Additionally, with Scarlett's pregnancy prohibiting intimacy, it presented a perfect opportunity for Kevin to guide Scarlett in different ways.
Many scenarios suddenly found convenient excuses.
Although Kevin displayed outward signs of distress and frustration, inwardly, he was rather pleased.
"Well, if you really can't contain yourself, I can always lend a hand with my mouth!" Scarlett shyly covered her blushing cheeks, lowering her head and swaying her body in embarrassment.
"Not being able to engage in lovemaking is not a problem; we can explore other thrilling activities!" Kevin chuckled as he playfully squeezed Scarlett's rounded buttocks, his mischievous thoughts running wild.
This wasn't bad news at all; quite the contrary, it was good news!
"You two are embarrassing! Don't you know that you should close the door when you're being affectionate?" Just as the two were being affectionate, Natalie suddenly appeared at the doorway, sneaking up on them with a mischievous grin, teasing Scarlett and Kevin.
"Natalie! Who gave you the right to spy on us? You're the one peeping, and yet you say we're the embarrassing ones! I think you're asking for trouble! Close the door, and no peeking!" Scarlett chided with a rosy face, raising her hand as if to scold Natalie. Natalie, in response, stuck her tongue out at Kevin and swiftly made her escape downstairs.
