Chapter 184 The High School
Sitting uneasily in the backseat, Natalie, feeling apprehensive, saw Kevin actually handing her an Apple device. She immediately shook her hand nervously, her face turning crimson, and said, "Kevin, there's no need to spend so lavishly. My current phone is perfectly fine."
Natalie was actually very fond of the phone in front of her, an iPhone 14, and it was even the top model. It was the kind of item every high school student dreamed of owning.
Had it been a gift from her mother or father, Natalie surely would have jumped for joy. But facing Kevin, she couldn't muster any happiness. In fact, she dared not accept any gifts from Kevin. Even though, truthfully, Natalie really liked the gift.
Deep down, she still felt that if Kevin was being nice to her, he must have had ulterior motives and likely harbored bad intentions. If she accepted this gift, it would only make it harder for her to stand up to Kevin later on.
Even though she really wanted it, Natalie still didn't dare to accept it.
"Well, I've already bought it for you. If you like it, take it; if not, take it back to your sister. If you really don't want it, you could just throw it away," Kevin said, casually laughing and stepping on the gas as he drove towards Natalie's high school.
Natalie was stunned, for a moment, unable to grasp Kevin's intention.
Kevin's nonchalant attitude made Natalie wonder if she was being too suspicious. After all, she wasn't entirely sure what had happened that evening because she was drunk.
After grappling with her thoughts for a short while, Natalie ultimately could not resist the allure of the iPhone 14 and revealed a restrained yet excited smile. "Then, thank you, Kevin."
Kevin caught sight of Natalie through the rearview mirror, especially her face, which blushed with excitement as she accepted the phone. A slight smile crept onto his face.

At this point, Kevin couldn't help but sigh inwardly, wondering when he would get this young girl. The more he gazed upon her, the more alluring she appeared to him.
Perhaps the unattainable always held the most allure. Kevin's longing for Natalie was growing stronger by the moment, with his inner turmoil towards her now even surpassing his desire for Sofia.
Natalie's high school was considered one of the best in the entire Harborview Metropolis. The school boasted a vast campus with excellent facilities and lush greenery. This was Kevin's first visit to Natalie's high school.
The serene campus, the beautiful scenery, and the presence of charming young girls and handsome young men everywhere impressed him.
Watching the youth walk by on the roadside, the pure and delicate high school girls, Kevin was captivated.
"High school really did bring back memories!" Kevin gazed at the teaching buildings, the bustling students, and the spacious sports ground, reminiscing about his own high school days.
The high school Kevin attended back then could only be considered ordinary, with facilities and landscaping that were a far cry from the high school Natalie attended.
However, despite the differences, they were both high schools, and Kevin could faintly sense the feelings he had experienced during his own high school days. The scent of fresh grass and the scholarly atmosphere on the campus particularly evoked strong nostalgia in Kevin.
Kevin's high school life was quite uneventful, with only one failed relationship that ended when his girlfriend cheated on him. Nevertheless, Kevin deeply cherished high school life.
At times, Kevin would even dream of going back to those high school days, returning to the classroom, reliving the sunny afternoons and cool, breezy evenings during self-study, and revisiting the messy boys' dormitory.
Lost in reminiscence, Kevin was somewhat intoxicated.
"How I miss it! If only I could go back to those high school days to relive that carefree youth and love." He suddenly found himself missing his first love and wondered how she was doing now.
Regardless of everything, her first time was with him.
Even after she left him for another man, Kevin still found himself missing her. He wanted to see her again, perhaps to rekindle that tender first love.
According to a classmate who remained in touch with her, she had married the man who had taken her from Kevin.
