Chapter 30

Of course, he would. I wouldn’t even be surprised if he had at least thousands of children offered by other mortals all around the world in exchange for a request.
“May I present to you, Irene Campbell Morningstar, Taehyung Kim Morningstar, and Min Yoongi Morningstar.”
I watched as the double doors once again opened, revealing three people wearing the same shade of red that I wore. They looked intimidating and somehow used to these kinds of things as they walked towards the platform with their chins held high and I could feel the air of authority that lingered around them. Lucifer must have found or raised them much earlier than he found me, which explains why they act so familiar and at ease with everything around them. Unlike me who was nervous and out of place.
I looked at each of them. The only girl among the three had long, raven-black hair that stopped around her waist, her blood-red gown hugging her body perfectly and it emphasized her curvy figure. She was slightly shorter compared to the two men that walked next to her, who seemed to be around my age as well.
The man in the middle also had raven-black hair, his hair slightly curly and sat atop his head messily but he managed to look good with it. He had pale white skin, his face impressively handsome and sculpted so perfectly, his thin pink lips emphasizing his long pointy nose and big hooded eyes. The other man next to him was just as tall, but he had white, blonde hair and his skin was just as pale and fair as his brother’s. The two looked like Asian with their almond-shaped eyes serving as the major give-off.
I watched as they made their way to their own seats, the girl sitting next to me and shooting me a smirk while the two boys sat on the left side of our father’s.
“My dear citizens of hell, join me as we happily welcome my offspring, these four who are the only pure sons and daughters of mine, who hold my blood purely and not infested with any other foreign gene. These four children are the only ones in the mortal world who carry with them my pure blood and will soon reign with me in hell for all eternity!”
And with that, the crowd erupted in cheers once again as a grand, orchestrated music began playing in the background. Lucifer gestured for us to sit, and as we did, the rest sat as well, and the servants began taking out the silver covers that hid the bounty.
“My dear Lilith,” father spoke to me with a smile. “Welcome to the family.”
Panic hit me with such force I had to stop myself from crumping to the floor. Reign in hell? Never. What had I gotten myself into? He seriously didn’t expect me to one day stay here forever. I just wanted to find out who I was. Learn to control my powers and get to know the family I didn’t even know existed. Ruling hell was never and will never be on the cards. I made a mental note to have a word with my father.
I was silently eating my food, still feeling uneasy with the unfamiliar and out of this world (I mean literally) environment all while trying my best not to look awkward or tense in front of my family. The only thing that calmed me down occasionally, was the sweet, juicy taste of the beef, and as I ate, I realized that they served and ate the same kind of food as humans ate back on earth.
Which reminded me, how are the others doing? Surely Kingsley told them about my father taking me away so randomly—they’re used to it now after a year of doing this twice every month. But how long have I been away? It already felt like hours.
“So,” the girl who is somehow my ‘sister’ spoke as she turned to face me. “Lilith, am I right? Where are you from?”
I swallowed my food and smiled at her shyly. “You can call me Lilly. I’m from Goldpeak, just a small town that’s hours away from New Orleans.”
She stared at me, still chewing on her food. “Is that in America?”
I nodded.
“I’m not good with places. I’ve lived in hell my whole life, way before those two losers you call brothers even got here. I’m from Mexico, dad said, as she fucked my mother in the form of a very attractive human being and tricking her into marrying him so he could have his first half human, half devil child.” She explained and I couldn’t help my eyes widening at her short yet bizarre life story. She laughed at my reaction. “I’m Irene, although I’m sure you remembered after father introduced us earlier.”
“Right, it’s nice to meet you, Irene.” I replied with a smile, trying to cover up my shock.
She then gestured over at the two boys at the other side of our dad’s. “Those boys over there are from South Korea. They aren’t biological brothers in the mother’s side, but same as my mother; Lucifer deceived their mothers and tricked them into marrying him.”
“Why did he do that before?” I asked, as if our father wasn’t literally just a meter away from us. Even so, Irene talked without a care if Lucifer ever heard us, and he seemed to be busy talking with a few people over the table as well.
Irene shrugged. “I guess he tried taking over one continent after the other by planting his seeds on mortal humans. But that didn’t work out, so he kind of just stopped and just continued granting mortals’ wishes in exchange for their souls. Like, no more fucking and pregnancy involved anymore. I was surprised that he still had another child.”
I had so many questions swirling around my mind, and it only made my chest tighten as morbid and weird thoughts barricaded my head. But I remained a straight and calm face as I stared at my sister. “Did he…did he tell you how he got me?”
Irene shook her head. “Nope, the three of us were surprised when we found out that we had another sibling. Why? Do you know the whole story?”
