Taehyung Pov

Chantel my mother stood with a face like stone. Her eyes projected shame and anguish.
“How dare you rid yourself of the part of you that I gave you!” she said through gritted teeth. Still, I couldn’t deny that even in her rage fueled state my mother was beautiful.
“Being a succubus as been nothing but a curse.” I spat at her. She had never been a mother to me. The only time I ever saw Chantel was when she needed something. Chantel cared about one person and that was herself.
“You’d have to die.” She pointed out, a fact that I knew and had considered many times.
“Yes, and I will take my chances. Death would be better than living the way I do.” Irene placed her hand on my shoulder. I knew it was a sign that she would stand by me no matter what my choice was.
“Now if you don’t mind, we are busy.” I said moving away from her. In that moment Yoongi appeared his mouth slightly open as if to say something. “Too late she’s already here.” He finally said with a sigh.
“Taehyung, I need your help.” Chantel said in a small desperate voice. Slowly I turned to face her. She was good at playing games. Pretending to get what she wanted, and I wasn’t falling for any sob story. Not this time.
“When your father died. I lost everything, my income, my status. I need your help. Please could you get me an audience with the newly stated queen of hell?” she asked, and my stomach dropped while a cold shiver ran down my spine.
“No.” I said rather quickly. I knew she only wanted to manipulate Lilly and I couldn’t and wouldn’t allow that. Lilly was so naive and trusting. My mother would wrap her around her finger then use her like a puppet.
“So, you would deny your mother? The person that gave life to you? Brought you…”
“Enough! I said no and that is final!” I snapped. I didn’t have time for this. We didn’t have time for it. We needed to get the remaining six deadly sins and then save Lilly. My mother was wasting our time.
“Please, I am begging you.” She slowly got to her knees and held her hands in a prayer motion.
“Your begging will get you nowhere. Now we must go. We have a job to do. Goodbye mother.” I said has I touched my two siblings on the shoulder, and we teleported to France where Pride was.
“Sorry bro, I was coming to warn you. She cornered me in Mexico.” Yoongi said and I thanked him.
“We got lust. He had grown in strength, but we got him pretty easy really.” Irene stated with a grin on her face.
“Great lets catch ourselves Pride then.” Yoongi said and we made our way into the capital of France. Paris was packed with people yelling and screaming. Some broke out into fist fights while others smashed up surrounding buildings. It was complete chaos.
“Wow.” Yoongi remarked.
“There getting stronger faster. Taehyung thinks its because human’s morals are not as high as they used to be.” Irene said and Yoongi nodded.
“That makes sense. The sins feed off people’s sins and nowadays. Everyone is constantly sinning.”
Slowly we made our way through the throng of people, occasionally dodging a fist or a person falling in our direction. The whole capital had gone mad with rage. Each one though they were above the other. Too proud to stand down.
“Taehyung, how do you plan to die?” Irene suddenly asked.
“What?” Yoongi stood still and a large man nearly knocked him off his feet as another fellow pushed him in the chest.
Yoongi shoved the man to the side and stood with his blazing eyes on mine.
“I am going to ask Lilith to turn me. It is the only way I can think of to kill the succubus side of me.” I shrugged it wasn’t a big deal. I had been thinking about it for years. But now I had finally made up my mind. I didn’t want to be a man who had no choice but to feed off sexual desire. I wanted a wife, children a family that I could be faithful too. I wanted a life far from the one I was living now.
“You know you could die? Vampire venom as been known to kill other supernatural’s and not turn them. Say you do live? You may lose your demon powers and be just a plain old vampire. The one thing you despise.” Yoongi pointed out.
“I have thought about this long and hard. I know what I want. Trust me, being a succubus is much worse.” I replied.
“It is up too you what you decide to do. I will stand by you. But think about it first. Don’t rush into this decision.” Yoongi said and I smiled. My siblings truly were the best. They may not agree with what I wanted to do. But they would be there for me, nevertheless. I was fortunate to have such good supporters by my side. After everything we had been through and been taught, we had always stuck together. We held each other up, each one of us understanding the other. I could never have asked for more.
“To the left.” Irene said and we both turned in the direction. There pride stood on a wall looking down at the chaos he had created with a wicked grin upon his face. He wouldn’t be smiling for much longer. He would be trapped in the box along with his brother Lust.
We made our way to where Pride was and stood below him as he towered above us by at least six feet.
“Pride?” Irene called up to him and he slowly turned his gaze to us.
“The Morningstar siblings. I must say I am surprised to see you three. With your newfound sister’s condition and all.” Pride said in a smooth voice.
“Oh, Lilly is fine. You’ve no need to worry.” Irene said and smiled up at the man.
“Why don’t you come down and we can have a chat?” she added which resulted in Pride laughing.
“You think I would be so foolish? Not today little girl. My job in this city is done.” With that he vanished into a puff of black smoke before fading away.
“What now?” Yoongi asked and we all looked at one another. If we didn’t catch him soon the entire human realm would be destroyed.
