Chapter 13.
Evans POV

I sit at my seat tapping my pen as my mind spins and I get sharp images sent through mind link from Valerie, it’s Melissa yelling at her and Alison. I break the link quickly linking to two of my warriors requesting they bring Melissa to my office.

I really didn’t think she’d cause this big of an issue, she was just a fling and she knew that. At least I thought she did. She isn’t Luna material and anyone can see that, She’s still so childish. Where as Alison is kind and gentle, she’s sweet and understanding she will make an elegant, graceful Luna. I think to myself as I feel my pants tighten, just the thought of her turns me on god she’s perfect.

A knock at the door snaps me from my thoughts.
“Come in” I say sternly, as the door swings open and in walks Melissa with my warriors behind her.
“Sit.” I command as she runs to the chair in front of my desk.

“Oh Alpha I knew you would change your mind, I knew you’d see the mistake you made and come back to me.” Melissa starts as I raise my hand.
“ENOUGH!” I demand as her face drops.
“I’ve made no mistake. Alison will be Luna, I warned you not to disrespect her and you knew the consequences if you chose to not obey that command.” I say clearly, looking for her response.

“I Alpha Evans banish you Melissa Blemmings from the crystal moon pack, as well as the other packs in this hemisphere. I’ve already notified the other packs, you have 24 hours to leave pack lands or you will be declaimed a rogue and killed on the spot.” I say without stuttering. She looks at me stunned as she just screams.

“You have to be kidding me!” She shouts. “You’re actually going to choose that dirty whore you found in the forest over me!” She stammers with her emotions unable to conduct herself as my rage boils over.
“ENOUGH! YOU WILL LEAVE NOW!” I growl making her cower below me, using my Alpha aura to force her from the room.

My door closes and I return to my thoughts, Alison asked me to look in to where her friend might be. My guys said they seen Alpha Romeo’s pack take her, so I guess that’s where I’ll start. I flip through my contacts for the other packs until I come across Romeo’s and dial the number, it rings 3 times before a hoarse voice answers abruptly.

“Hello, Alpha Romeo speaking.” He chokes out.
“Hello Alpha Romeo, it’s Alpha Evans. I’m calling about a girl you may have found in the woods? Her name is Emily?” I ask in my Alpha voice.
“Nope.” He states quickly.

“I’m willing to offer a reward for her return.” I say before he can hang up.
“A reward?” He chuckles sickly. “For this stupid whore! I heard you found your mate Alpha Evans. So what do you need this slut for?” He asks inquisitively.
“She is my mates friend and I would like her back, listen Alpha Romeo I’m willing to pay what ever cost you see fit, we just want her back.” I say sternly.
“Nope!” He says laughing as I hear the other side of the line go dead. Damn it.

I sit at my desk in silence for a few minutes before it’s time for me to pop in to the kids training sessions. Every other day I train the pups for a few hours, today will be no different, I stand heading out as I think of Alison again, I wonder what she’s doing right now. My body starts to warm as I think of her and her smell fills my head putting me in to a daze.

After a few long hours of fighting the pups it’s finally time to go find my beautiful mate. I quickly eat and run up to my room to find Alison and Valerie occupying our bed. Valerie quickly leaves and I’m left alone with my mate, we take a long shower where we talk about Melissa and Alpha Romeo, Alison wants me to push harder so I will try and set up a meeting with him to negotiate.

God she’s so beautiful, I think to myself as I run my hands along her body, how did this gorgeous creature end up in my pack. I gave up looking for a mate when my parents died, I remember being excited to turn 16 and start looking for my mate. Instead I turned 16 my parents died and I became Alpha. After that it didn’t leave much time to look for a Luna.

After a very steamy session of making my mate scream we lay in bed wrapped around eachother coming down her skin sparks along mine as I lay there embracing the feeling of her against me. I’ve never had such peaceful relaxing nights, the mate bond is changing me and I kind of like it. Everything seems brighter with her in my life, I couldn’t imagine not having her.

The next morning I get up leaving early, I want to speak with Alpha Romeo as soon as I can. There must be something he will take in exchange for Emily. I sit at my desk waiting for the clock to hit 8, when it finally does I grab the phone and dial Alpha Romeo again.

“Hello.” His coarse voice answers.
“Hello, Alpha Romeo, it’s Alpha Evans calling again.” I say.
“You’re not getting the girl!” He says cutting me off.
“Well Alpha Romeo, I have another proposal.” I state.
“Yeah and what would that be.” His voice cold, god this man erks me.

“Land.” I state clearly as he laughs loudly on the other side.
“Land!” He shouts “For this worthless slut your willing to trade your land!” He continues to laugh.
“I will give you a quarter of my east side, the border of your land, and I will also compensate you, but I want Emily sent to my pack tonight.” I demand coldly. “Do we have a deal?”

“I’ll have her cross the border by the end of the week.” He states with no emotion.
“Tonight!” I command using my Alpha voice.
“Nope sorry, if you want your deal you’ll have her at the end of the week.” He chuckles to himself.
“Fine! I will have warriors waiting for her. We will discuss the new border at a later date.” I say as he hangs up the phone and I smash my hand on the table. Why won’t he just send her here, why does he want to keep her for a week? I don’t want to let Alison know yet, I don’t know what condition Emily is even in.
