Chapter 35.
Alisons POV

“Today we execute a vile criminal. He has beat, raped and abused his pack for years, and now it will finally end.” Alpha Evans bellows over the crowd as his Alpha aura fills the atmosphere. Romeo sits on his knees tied and sedated at the stone podium where we claimed the packs just last night.

“After being stripped of his title and thrown in to our dungeon we have come to the decision to publicly execute. Is there any reason for us not to proceed?” He asks the pack as everyone stays silent, quietly watching to see what happens next. Alpha Evans nods walking over to Romeo as he places him on his feet in front of him.

“ALPHA ROMEO! You have been charged with abuse and neglect within your pack. Due to your pack being found in such extreme conditions you have been found guilty! And sentenced to death.” Evan states quickly plunging his hand in to Romeo’s chest as blood falls to the ground and Romeo begins to choke. Evan rips out Romeo’s heart as he collapses to the ground lifeless, Alpha Evans raises his hand holding his blood dripping heart and the crowd erupts in to calls of joy. Emily’s abuser is finally dead, that is one less thing to deal with.

After the visiting packs heard about the rogue attack a few of the Alpha’s decided to leave some warriors behind to help us rebuild the pack and defend it if needed. Evan burns Romeo’s body in a large fire in the middle of the court yard, many of Romeo’s men stand by watching as their previous Alpha burn to ash before their eyes.

“Hey, I’m going to take a few crews to the north side to see how building is going over there.” Evan says coming up behind me kissing my cheek. I turn pulling him in to a deep kiss as his hands swim through my hair and his tongue enters my mouth. A loud cough breaks us from our moment and I turn around to see Valerie giggling.

“Ok love birds we have work to do.” She says taking my hand as I laugh yelling bye to Evan as he takes off back to the warriors.
“What are we doing?” I ask Valerie confused as to what she needed me for.

“Well seeing as we’re building new pack houses and we have a growing number of children in the pack I thought you and I can design a few play grounds, and maybe a pool!” She says excitedly as a smile crosses my face.
“Have you talked to Evan about this?” I giggle as her face drops.
“Oh goddess Alison you and I both know he won’t mind.” She says shoving my shoulder.
“Ok let’s get to work then.” I say taking off to Evans office.

Salem is in school now so Valerie and I have a few hours to get a good chunk of planing done.
“Maybe we should add to the court yard too?” She says looking over the blue prints for the grand hall.

“With the amount of wolves we have in the pack I think it’s time for an update.” I say happily. A lot of the stone work was wrecked in the attack and will need to be re done anyways.
“I love the two wolves standing at the alter.” I say softly. “As well as the howling wolf in the fountain which will need to be fixed.” She nods writing down everything I say in her little book.

“I would also like to add more herb gardens near the schools that the kids can care for, we can add it to there studies.” I repeat my thoughts out loud as I continue looking over the prints on Evans desk when the phone rings.

“Hello, Luna of crystal moon speaking can I help you?” I say in a light happy tone.
“Hey Luna! Congratulations on your ceremony.” The voice says as I thank him.
“I’m Alpha Lorenzo of the clear water pack, I heard through the grape vine your pack was attacked the other night?” He asks softly.
“Yes we were, there was a lot of injured wolves and two deaths.” My voice is soft and sad as I speak.

“I’m so sorry for your loss.” His grief pouring through the phone.
“I called because I think I may have some info on your attack, is their anyway we can set up a meeting?” He asks and I mind link Evan.
“Yes of coarse we can Alpha Evan said he’s able to meet tomorrow morning if that works for you?” I respond quickly.

“Actually Luna tonight would be better.” He says and my heart drops.
“Ok I’ll prepare a room.” I say softly. “I look forward to seeing you soon.” I finish.
“Yes you too Luna thank you for hosting me.” He says hanging up the phone as I sit down behind Evans desk putting my face in my hands.

My heart pounds in my ears as I try to think of what he would need to tell us so urgently, I mind like Evan again and let him know he needs to come back early. Since the Luna ceremony, I can now mind link Evan as well as the rest of the pack members. It’s such an amazing clear connection, this whole Luna thing has seemed to be alright so far.

I have two cleaners prepare a room for Alpha Lorenzo in the Alpha wing, by the time he gets here Evan is still in the shower.
“Hello Alpha.” I say shaking his hand.
“I’m Luna Alison, I’m so glad you could make it, let me show you to our office.” I speak with confidence as I take him up to the office.

“It’s really nice to meet you and thank you for accommodating me so quickly.” He says with a smile as we walk through the door.
“Alpha Evans will be ready in a moment.” I respond softly.

He is a tall man with long shaggy blond hair and wide shoulders he looks like a bear standing on his hind legs. I mind link Valerie asking her to bring up a plate of fruits and pitcher of lemonade, I assume it’s going to be a long meeting.

“Hello Alpha Lorenzo.” Evan states loudly walking in to the room as his wet hair drops and he scruffs it with a towel.
“Long time no talk cousin.” He says laughing grabbing Lorenzo’s hand.
“Yes Alpha it has been, your lovely mate here has been keeping me company.” He states looking over to me.
“Ah yes, she is lovely isn’t she?” Evans eyes glimmer as he looks over to me as well.

“Alison, Lorenzo is my cousin and close allies of our pack.” He says calmly as I nod smiling.
“So Lorenzo what brings you here on such short notice.” Evan asks curiously.
“Well Evan I’ve been following rogue attacks across the country for years now. Banished wolves have gone missing, a few at a time every few months for the past 8 years. Normally no one pays attention to the exiles, which is why no one has noticed. These wolves get banished and are never seen again, they don’t join new packs or go rogue and live alone in caves they just disappear.” He explains his research and observations of the missing wolves.

“2 nights ago a rogue showed up on our pack lands, a small female raped and abused, she was fully naked and bleeding out, we took her to the hospital and she finally woke up this morning.” He says with dread in his voice.

“She was kidnapped by the rogues. They have created a society, I don’t know what they are planing but she said their numbers are growing. The only person she remembers was an older grey wolf named Emmett.” He says as my heart races and I can feel Alpha Evans temper raise.

“I know you had a warrior named Emmett that fit the description.” Lorenzo finish’s.
“Emmett was recently chased off the pack lands, he raped Alison and took off in to the forest, we haven’t been able to find him since.” Evan reply’s through gritted teeth.

“Well I think they are hiding underground, the rogue said she could smell wet dirt the whole time and it was very cold. I also believe Emmett has been planing this for a long time so what ever he’s planning he has been thinking it through for quite a while and we definitely should not underestimate his numbers.” Lorenzo says looking to Alpha Evans.

“We’re going to need a plan, first we need to know what he’s planning.” Evan says softly lost in thought as I sit silently thinking.
