Chapter 74.
Evans POV

I wake up early leaving to the flower shop first thing, un able to control my excitement from the news Alison told me last night. Twins we are going to have twins, my whole body feels like it has electricity running through it and I have so much I need to do before they get here.

I pick a huge bundle of mixed roses, pink white and red. The lady at the desk puts them in a light pink crystal vase that shimmers against the sun, I add a little note and the florist assures me she’ll have them delivered at noon. Quinn has been jumping for joy in my head since we found out and I decide we should go for a run before we start work to get some of his energy out, well mine too I guess.

Pounding the ground beneath my feet I flash across the pack lands as Quinn erupts in howls, the air against my fur causes electricity flow through my body making me feel free and at one with nature, goddess I wish my parents were here. They would have been so excited to have a grand child and they would have adored Alison. A storm of guilt fills me realizing I can’t share this amazing experience with them.

After my parents died I never thought of having a mate or children, now that it’s all happening it hurts that they can’t be here to see it. I wish they could have met Salem, the biggest most important parts of my life are happening and I can’t share it with them, my heart aches from the sorrow filling my body. Why were they taken from me.

I finish my run and head back to my office to meet with the board, with Alison being pregnant I want to get the threat of Griselda out of the way as soon as we can. I walk in and Parker is already going through paper work.
“Hey Alpha, I was just looking for past guard rotations.” He says as I sit at my desk nodding.

“How is training and guard duty going?” I ask looking over to him as he brings the stack of papers to the round table.
“It’s going good, I change it up every day and so far it seems to be going good. Oh and congratulations Alpha, Valerie told me about the baby’s.” he says smiling up at me.
“Thank you.” I say smiling back as he grabs the papers he needs before leaving.

I check the clock, Oliver and Atticus will be here soon. I get everything in order and mind link Valerie to come meet with us as there’s a knock at the door.
“Come in.” I call as the door opens, the elders come in and I stand to greet them.
“Hello Oliver, Atticus. It’s good to see you both, thank you for coming.” I say shaking their hands as I invite them in.

“Oliver tells me you’re making head way on the witch issue.” Atticus says making me chuckle.
“Valerie should be here in a few moments, we found out the witch calling to her is a powerful woman named Griselda, she is also Valerie’s mother.” I say as both mens eyes go wide, another knock at the door and I pull it open to see Valerie inviting her in. She takes a seat greeting the elders as I go back to my desk, we’re ready to get started.

She informs them of her recent visions and everything she’s found out on her birth mother, she also tells us that Griselda has been reaching out to her and would like to meet. This gives us the perfect opportunity to scope out her “pack” and what she wants with Valerie, we all agree that Valerie may be in danger and this could be a delicate situation. Our best bet is to send Valerie to meet with her if we want any more information so we don’t have much of a choice.

“Well you guys seem to have a pretty good amount of information on this particular threat, so if you’d like to go ahead with your plan the board will support you.” Oliver says calmly as Atticus agrees.
“Thank you, we are hoping to get this handled before Alison has the baby’s.” I state as Valerie lights up with excitement.

“Ah yes that’s right, congratulations Alpha.” Oliver says softly and we all say our goodbye’s before they head out and Valerie and I go to find Alison. We quickly put away our file’s before locking the office and heading down to the kitchen.

Alison is making grilled cheese and soup when we come in, I chuckle watching her gently sway while cooking.
“Are you having fun?” Valerie asks making Alison jump as she smiles back to us.
“Do you want some?” She responds ignoring Valerie’s question as we both nod, I sit at the table as Valerie goes to help her. The girls chat away while I sit and watch admiring them in awe, I love the connection they share.

We all sit at the table together eating, I listen to the girls talk about nursery colours and baby names, and I can’t help but sit here eating my soup quietly beaming with joy. I can’t wait to fill this house with happy little children, what could be more perfect then a big loving family.

After we finish eating Alison wants to go lay down for a little while, I ask Valerie to get Parker to handle pack duty’s for the day so I can spend some time with my beautiful mate. I help her up the stairs and run a bath for Alison as she goes to the closet getting new clothes, the amazing smell fills the room as I add the herbs and oils.

We get in the bath making the water rise and she lets out a soft moan relaxing in to the warmth, she lays back against my chest as my heart slows.
“Have you thought about names?” Her soft voice asks as my heart skips.
“Well I have a few girl names in mind.” I answer softly almost embarrassed, I’m really hopping for girls.

“Girls! Goddess could you imagine 2 girls.” She says laughing as I join in.
“What names do you like?” She asks bringing the conversation back.
“I like Caroline and Madalyn.” I answer dragging my hands over her body gently.
“Those are pretty.” She responds making me smile and I feel completely content.
“Have you thought of any?” I ask back as I see her blush brightly.

“Well I like Amelia for a girl, and Corbin for a boy.” She answers making me smile brightly. Corbin, I like that. I think to myself as she sinks down in to the water, coming back up she hands me the shampoo and I chuckle knowing exactly what she wants. I take the shampoo and begin washing her hair as she leans back moaning softly and my fingers swim through each strand.

“I think we should get the nursery set up before your second trimester, that way you can rest near the end of the pregnancy. Twins are normally born early.” I say as she nods agreeing.
“I was planing on getting Valerie to go shopping with me after the beta tournament.” She answers before rinsing out her hair, I finish the conditioner and we get out of the bath drying off.

I kneel in front of her helping her dry off as her hands tangle in to my wet hair and I hear Quinn howl loudly in my head making me smirk, we both had the same idea. I lean in as my tongue swoops across her warmth and she shivers making her breathing hitch and I smile, I let my tongue dance across her, gently lifting her leg giving me better access.

Her head leans back as her moans escape around us and I flick faster as she begins to shake, quickly stopping I stand picking her up to put her on the counter as my mouth finds hers. I push in to her groaning loudly as her arms tighten around me, feeling her fingers dig in to my back as I thrust harder and her moans grow.
“I love you.” I say softly kissing up her neck as she giggles softly moving with each thrust.
“I love you too.” She responds and I thrust harder climbing closer.

She pulls me to her hard as our skin sticks sending sparks through my body and I know I wont last much longer, I feel her muscles tighten around me as I grab on to her and we finish together perfectly. Breathing deeply I slowly pull out, helping her down off the counter as her gorgeous eyes lock with mine.
