Chapter 41.
Evans POV

Alisons pregnant! My wolf howls in joy at the thought of a pup, I can’t believe we’re going to have a baby! I look over to Alison and realize the stunned expression across her face, what’s wrong my little mate? We already have Salem, there’s no reason for her to be scared she’ll be an amazing mother to our pups.

Doctor Blair slips out as I sit back in bed with Alison grabbing her hands unable to control my smile.
“Are you ok?” I ask her softly scared for her answer.

“Yeah, I just. I didn’t think it would happen so quick. What are we going to tell Salem? How will he feel about a new baby?” She starts ranting off all the questions in her head.
“He hasn’t been with us very long and this will be a major change for all of us.” She says as I feel a rush of emotions fill my body.
“Alison he’s a little kid, you don’t think he wants a little playmate?” I say to her as a smile quickly fills my face and she laughs in response.
“This will be good for us, and Salem. I promise.” I reassure her while pulling her closer to my chest as I feel her exhale and relax in to me.

A few minutes later she’s asleep in my arms as I watch her breathing steady, this beautiful human is growing my child, the future of our pack lies with this little pup and Salem. I play with her hair as she nuzzles deeper in to my chest, lost in my own thoughts of what our future may look like when the door clicks open and in walks doctor Blair.

I put my finger to my mouth signalling for him to be quiet as he nods slightly waiting by the door, I gently move Alison off of me and stand up with my eyes still glued to her perfect slumbering figure. I meet doctor Blair outside as I quietly close the door behind me.

“Yes doctor, there’s something you need?” I ask calmly as he puts his clip board down on the large desk behind him.
“Well Alpha I was actually going to come in and see how you guys are doing, Luna has no major injury’s so I feel comfortable sending her home. She did get slightly banged up so she needs to watch for bleeding over the next few days, with the pregnancy being so early we can’t tell much besides a blood test so I would like to see her for a few minutes tomorrow just to re test and make sure we’re heading in the right direction.” He says explaining what we will need to do to ensure this pregnancy, when a human is pregnant by a wolf it does make the whole thing a bit harder, wolf baby’s are born bigger then human baby’s. Meaning most of the time the mom will end up getting a c-section, a wolf pregnancy also develops quicker, so the next 8 months are going to be very hard on Alison.

Doctor Blair goes on to explain how we can combat the issues we will face. There’s vitamins Alison will need to take as well as regular ultrasounds to watch development, and she will need to spend most of her time in bed. She’s definitely not going to be thrilled about this.

I go back in to Alisons room as Blair goes to sign her discharge papers, when I walk in I notice she’s awake.
“Why hello there little mate.” I say happily as she smiles hiding her face in her blanket.
“Where were you?” She asks in a soft sleepy voice.

“I was just taking to doctor Blair about what we will need to do through this pregnancy.” I say softly. “It’s ok we’ll talk later, you rest. Doctor Blair is just doing your paperwork and I can take you home, we will be going to our house.” I say as a big smile crosses her face.
“We can move in!” She says as her head quickly pops up off her pillow.
“Yes Alison I think it’s time, I’ll get Valerie to bring Salem.” I say as she sits up getting her cloths on that Emily brought in for her.

We get to the house as Valerie is coming down the stairs.
“Ok he’s asleep in his bed he also ate quite a bit at dinner and had a bath, do you want me to hang around for anything?” She asks softly as I start up the stairs carrying Alison.
“No it’s ok Valerie you can go, you’ve done a lot tonight. Thank you.” I say turning to her as I speak.

“Are you sure Alpha? Have you guys eaten?” She says starring at me like my mother used to, the thought of her sends a shock through my body. I haven’t thought about my parents in a long time, I think to myself lost in my memories.
“I’ll make something quick for you guys before I take off.” She finishes and I gently nod continuing my journey to our new room.

I place Alison on the bed as she stirs in her sleep, she fell asleep in the car and she’s been in and out since we got her back. I go in to the bathroom and start the bath adding lavender, roses and dried oranges. I let the bath fill as Alison comes stumbling through the door.
“I missed you.” She says rubbing her eyes as I crack a smile, she’s so adorable when she’s tired.
“I missed you too, your bath is almost ready.” I let her know as I help her take her clothes off, and step in to the warm water. She lays back relaxing in to the floral bath closing her eyes as I step out to make a call to the board.

“Hello Oliver, I have a few questions for you if you have a moment.” I say as he answers his phone.
“Yes Alpha how can I help you?” He asks in a calm tone.
“Well Alison was kidnapped by Emmett, we got her back but Emmett said something strange to her.” I start. “He said this is a family matter, is there any way to get my family records and figure out what he may have meant by that?” I ask as I hear a “hmm” on the other end.
“Well Alpha that sure is troubling, I will look in to it and see what I can find out.” He answers.

“Thank you Oliver I truly appreciate it.” I say softly trying to make sure Alison doesn’t hear me.
“No problem Alpha we’ll talk tomorrow, also give Alison my best.” He says before the line goes dead and I take a long deep breath before joining Alison in the bath.
