Chapter 40.
Alisons POV

We get to the clinic and Evan sets me down gently on a hospital bed inside a private room in the Alpha wing, he grabs me a gown handing it to me before getting me a few blankets and pillows. I take a deep breath as the pack lands calm me, leaving a loving warm effect on my body. This truly has become my home and this is where I belong.

“Hello again Luna, are we ready to start?” Blair asks calmly as Emily comes in behind him in scrubs and I give her a sideways look.
“Can you tell me what happened?” He asks pulling out his clip board.
“First can you tell me why you’re in scrubs!” I say smiling at Emily as she giggles in excitement.
“I’m training to be a nurse!” Emily says proudly as my smile just grows.
“I’m so happy for you!” I say makin a little squeal escapes my lips.

Looking back at doctor Blair I start telling him what happened.
“I went outside because I was feeling nauseous, while I was out there I felt this gross dread feeling that started to consume me. I was dizzy and couldn’t focus so I decided to go back inside because I didn’t like the feeling that was surrounding me, and that’s when Emmett came up behind me wrapping his arm around my neck dragging me back while choking me. I fought back but ended up passing out, next next thing I know I’m waking up in that dirt room.” I pause not really wanting to continue as my heart skips knowing what I need to say next.

“He… he raped me.” I stutter out as I feel my heart shatter in to a million pieces from the aura wafting off of Evan.
“He punched me in the back and threw me on the floor but I didn’t get hurt.” I say looking down as Evan leaves the room and I feel tears threaten to spill.

“It’s ok Alison.” Doctor Blair says softly as he holds my hands.
“This is a safe space, Evan is just struggling with his Alpha emotions. He will be ok.” He finishes as I take a deep breath to continue.

“He left after he was finished, leaving me on the cold dirt ground to think about what he had done to me. Next thing I knew Evan was busting the door down.” I say in a low tone while I play with my fingers.
“Ok, we are going to need to run some tests quick just to make sure everything’s ok, I will be back in a minute.” He states grabbing his clip board leaving the room as Emily walks over to draw blood.

“So a nurse?” I ask smiling as she giggles setting up the needle.
“Yeah! Blair and I were talking about what I wanted to do in the pack and it just made sense, he can teach me and I get to help out in the medic centre.” She says happily.
“You look good.” I say as she beams with joy.
“Thank you Alison, it really means a lot.” She says pulling out the needle and I didn’t even realize she was already done.
“Ok I’ll be back in a few minutes Alison.” She says as she turns leaving my room taking my blood with her.

I lay back and close my eyes, I hear the door click open as Evan walks in with his head low.
“I’m sorry Alison.” He states sadly. “I’m sorry this happened again, and I’m sorry I took off it’s just hard to control my anger when I hear what he’s done to you. My wolf has been trying to force his way out all night and I’m scared of the damage he could cause if I can’t control him and keep him laid back.” He looks up to me softly as tears stem behind his eyes.
“I love you so much Alison, please don’t ever forget that.” He finishes as he comes closer to me.

“It’s ok you found me and I’m back, I need to ask you something though.” I say remembering what Emmett told me.
“Anything, what is it?” He asks as I suddenly get scared to say anything.

“I asked him why he was doing this, he mentioned how he found me first and it was his right.” I say as Evan stiffens his body while I talk. “He also said he wanted to hurt you, which I didn’t understand at first. But before he left he mumbled *it’s a family matter*” I pause before continuing my question.
“Evan is there any way Emmett is related to you?” I ask as his face drops and confusion crosses it.

“My parents only had me as a child, we didn’t really have any other family. I didn’t have grandparents or aunts and uncles so honestly I don’t think so.” He stops. “But I guess anything could be possible.” He finishes with a loud sigh.

“We’re going to need to find out what this means.” He starts his rant again while pacing back and forth.
“I’ll call the board and see if I can have records pulled, why wouldn’t my parents tell me if we had family in the pack?” He rubs his forehead as I get dizzy watching him pace.

“Evan it will be ok, we’ll figure it out together. We handled Alpha Romeo and we can take care of Emmett too.” I say with a small smile.
“We didn’t have to fight Alpha Romeo.” He states looking down and I can feel his stress rise as it hits me in waves, the power of Alpha emotions is overpowering for normal pack members. For me I feel it but it doesn’t overtake me.

I put my arms up indicating for Evan to come to me. He sighs but obeys and comes crawling in to bed laying his head down on top of me as I lay back again and close my eyes allowing myself to relax against his body. All I’ve wanted over the last 24 hours is to just be in his arms, to feel the sparks across my skin that he causes. Now everything feels perfect again as his heart beat pounds against me and my hands swim through his hair.

A few minutes pass before Blair enters the room and Evan jolts up to greet him.
“Well Luna, Alpha Evans informed me you two were actively trying for a baby, that being said I ran a pregnancy test just to make sure before giving you any medication.” He states and I repeat what he just said in my head, pregnancy test? “Based on your blood work you are about 3 weeks along Luna, congratulations.” He says shaking my hand as my heart stops and Evans lets out a loud howl in joy.
