Chapter 30.
Evans POV

I get to Romeo’s pack house with 10 groups of wolves, each group is to demolish at least one building today. I will be meeting with our building planner to design the new pack houses and cottages. The amount of wolves we now have is also allowing more people to find their mates nowt that they aren’t under Romeo’s captive control. I’m also planing on building Alison and I a house in the middle of both pack lands.

Greg finally shows up as everyone has started pulling down rotten boards and tearing apart old buildings.
“Good morning Alpha, it’s so good to see you.” He says enthusiastically.“Congratulation’s on the extension of the pack.” He states.
“Thank you Greg, are we ready to get started?” I ask as he nods.

We divide to line the north side of Romeo’s pack with farm lands, it is open land with a large amount of sun, we fence off multiple zones for growing plants herbs and fruits. Greg designs 5 identical barns with lofts, each barn is also a home for a wolf family in the pack. He also wants to raise 2 silos for food storage which with our raising numbers I totally agree. Beside the last farm he plans to have a fruit orchard planted as well.

“How do you want the pack houses designed?” He asks as we begin to move on.
“Well I was thinking of having each pack house have 12 bed rooms 2 guest rooms 6 bathrooms, kitchen and dinning room as well as a living room, I don’t care what they look like I just want them all the same. We will put them up across the pack lands for un mated wolves, teenagers, warriors and workers.” I say as he nods taking notes.

“We will also need to place single homes for mated wolves starting family’s 3-4 bedroom cottages spread across pack lands, 1 bedroom cabins as well but not as many. Oh and each building needs a safe room in case of attack.” I say and he pulls out a laptop to start designing plans and list everything I’ve just said.

“Ok Alpha I think that’s all I need for now, we will talk more later. I’ll have prints drawn up right away.” He says as he finishes up.
“Oh also!” I say softly. “I would like to design a house for the Luna and I, I want it in the middle of both pack lands, think you could come up with something that she’ll like? 5 bedrooms Atleast please.” I say as he nods smiling to my comment, I mean I was an only child so I plan to give Salem lots of siblings. I smile to myself thinking of the beautiful pups Alison and I will have together, I can’t wait to be settled after this is all over so I can live out my life leading my pack alongside my beautiful mate.

Greg scurries off to write up plans while I start to check around, so far Romeo’s pack house has been torn down actually so have most of the others I guess I underestimated how long it would take. Everyone begins to pile all the rubble as trucks begin to pull in a load everything up, normally we wouldn’t enter the human world unless we absolutely needed too. Unfortunately we can’t burn everything so I will be sending a few of my men in to town to the waste centre. I decide to help load the trucks as everyone continues to help with clean up.

It doesn’t feel very long before a server shows up with lunch, she gets out of a little car with stacks of pizzas and a cooler of pop as all the males swarm her to get food.
“Alright men eat quickly please, we are making very good time and I’d like to have everyone under a roof by the end of next week.” I state as everyone nods taking food from the small girl and chatting away with each other.

By late afternoon Greg has returned with rolls of blue prints for me to sign off on. He starts to order all the supply’s we will be needing to start as we finish up clean up crew, with Romeo’s pack being so small it doesn’t take long with the numbers we have. Everything is rotten as well honestly I’m surprised a strong wind didn’t blow some of these buildings over.

“Hey Alpha!” Spencer comes running over.
“Yes what can I help you with?” I ask in my Alpha tone.
“I was just wondering.” He says playing with his hand looking down.
“Look at me when you speak.” I command as his eyes snap up.
“thank you.” I say giving him a small smile.
“I’m sorry Alpha, a lot of us have lost family or been separated from our parents. I was wondering if there was anyway we could maybe find out what happened or where they might be.” I think for a minute before answering

“I’m going to be honest with you Spencer, if you haven’t found your family yet they are more then likely dead. But when everything calms down I promise we will find out what happened ok?” I ask touching his shoulder as he softly nods and I see tears well up behind his eyes. He goes back to collecting smashed bricks tossing them in to the bins as my heart hurts for him. I know what its like to lose a parent, but to lose both to a person? That anger must never subside.

“Alpha, our supply list will be dropped off tomorrow morning, I was thinking we’ll start with the main pack house for the warriors which I designed bigger then planned just in case.” Greg says as I nod.
“Next we will frame your house as well as the barns.” He says showing me the layout for where the building will be throughout the pack, we also decided another school needs to be added with all the new students that will be attending.

“Ok Alpha I think that’s all we can do for tonight, we have wiped the land clean and are ready to start building tomorrow morning we will start digging foundations until the supply’s show up.” He says firmly as I agree.

I whistle loudly to get everyone’s attention.
“Alright, very good work today everyone I’m very happy to see everyone working together well to build a new community. We are finished for the evening and we will start again tomorrow for a half day, as tomorrow evening is the Luna ceremony and you’re all required to attend.” I say as everyone begins to clean up and shift to their wolf forms to run back to the main house.
