Chapter 26.
Alisons POV

“What was Romeo like when he was Alpha here?” Evan asks as the scared wolf looks to the ground.
“His father was ruthless and mean he would kill people for the smallest mistakes or lock them in the dungeons to starve them as punishments.” He starts as tears prick behind his eyes.

“No one is safe here especially not females, any female above 18 is forced to serve the un mated males.” Evan and I fallow him in to the kitchen as he continues talking.
“Everyone under 18 is made to work in the pack house, they were beneath omegas. The elders also had to work in the pack house.” He states as he opens the fridge which is completely bare except a few rotten veggies and a couple of eggs as I turn my head in disgust from the rancid smell leaking out.

“Romeo didn’t care much to stock the fridge.” He says softly as we continue walking, drywall falling off the walls as it crumbles to the floor, god this place is gross.
“After Alpha Romeo took over for his father things only got worse, there is only a few men loyal to Alpha Romeo and they are older wolves that were loyal to his father.” He says as he opens a huge door leading down a set of stairs, Alpha Evans and I follow Spencer down the rickety stairs as I feel the wood squish under my feet.

“This is where the pack house workers live.” He says as I have to cover my face from the overwhelming smell of mould.
“I’m sorry people live in here?” I ask trying not to choke.

He just slowly nods as I see a hallway lined with doors, I start walking down the hallway knocking on each door as I pass by and people start coming out, mainly older wolves and children.
“Collect your things and meet me outside the pack house please. We are condemning the building.” I state clearly as everyone gasps and questions start being thrown around.

“Where will we go?” “What is happening?” “Who are you?” Everyone begins speaking over each other as I bring my hand to my mouth whistling loudly catching everyone’s attention.
“Everything will be explained outside please join us.” I call over everyone’s voices as I turn to leave with Spencer noticing Evan is already half way up the stairs dialling on his phone.

Spencer continues to show me around as Evan is taking his phone call outside, we walk up the broken stairs to the Alpha wing, the smell of blood and death flows through the halls as I hold back a gag. Tears burn in the back of my eyes thinking of what he used to do to Emily here, what kind of a vile person could live with themselves like this?

“How did you guys live like this?” I ask softly.
“Well it was either this or become a rogue and loose our minds to the wilderness, most were to scared to leave.” He says.
I stop part way down the hall as I can’t stomach to go any further.
“Ok I’m done.” I state putting my hand up.
“I’m going outside please make sure everyone comes outside.” I say turning to leave as he nods.

I meet Alpha Evans on the porch as I choke back my erge to vomit.
“I called Valerie she is setting up large tents across the pack which will be guarded.” He states. “We aren’t staying here, we are taking everyone back to crystal moon.” He says as I nod quickly taking deep breath trying to relax.

Soon people start to pile around, all chatting away to each other her about what they think is going on. Parker and Preston join us on the pack house stairs.
“Everyone’s here Alpha.” Parker says leaning towards Evan. He raises his hand silencing everyone before he speaks.

“Ok, now that everyone has gathered.” He starts.
“I have taken over Alpha Romeo’s title. You all will be under the protection of the crystal moon pack from now on.” He says loudly as everyone has stopped to listen.
“You will all take your things and follow us back to our pack we are condemning your buildings and rebuilding in the near future, I would love input from all of you about what you envision your future to be like.” Everyone starts whispering among themselves as a small wolf perks up in the front.

“Where will we stay?” She asks.
“My warriors are setting up temporary tents for everyone inside my pack lands. We start plans to rebuild tomorrow, with the numbers of my pack we should be able to get this done rather quickly.” He states as she nods stepping back.
“Where is Alpha Romeo!” A large wolf demands from the back.
“Romeo has abused and neglected his pack for too long! He had to be removed from his position.” Alpha Evans bellows back as his voice roars over the crowd making the pack submit.

“If anyone has a problem with that feel free to leave the pack lands and go rogue.” He states calmly.
“Or you can join my pack and be cared for, your children will be taught, your women will be safe, and you will live healthy happy lives in a proper pack. I’m sure you’ve heard of me.” Evan says smugly as everyone looks around at one another and back to him.

“I took over as Alpha at 16 when my parents died, as a teenager I learned how to run a successful prospering pack. Everyone works, goes to school, trains, and most importantly my wolves are happy and well cared for.” He states as everyone listens to him quietly, a small girl steps forward looking up to Evan.
“Ok,we will come with you. Not much could be worse then this anyways.” She states as Evan nods.

Everyone begins loading up big wooden buggy’s as some of the bigger wolves shift to pull them. Evan quickly shifts in to his huge beautiful wolf as gasps of shock erupt across the crowd.
“He’s beautiful.” “I’ve never seen a white wolf before.” People begin to mumble as I smile softly.

A small girl comes up to me, she has short deep brown hair and tan skin, she was the one that spoke for the group.
“Hey, my name is Gemma.” she says softly.
“I was just wondering if we could talk?” she says as I crouch down to her, she looks to be about 13.
“Sure Gemma.” I say sweetly.
“How old are you?” I ask smiling to her.

“I’m 17.” She says looking to the ground as my face drops in shock. This poor girl is so tiny for 17 I honestly thought she was prepubescent.
“Ok Gemma what do you need to ask?” I say softly as I examine her noticing the groves in her skin fallowing every bone in her face and neck, she’s starving. I also see light scars covering her skin that’s exposed

“Well, I’m Alpha Romeo’s sister.” She states as I continue to look at her waiting for her to continue.
“Ok, and?” I respond.
“I just wanted to let you know.” She starts.
“Your the Luna and I felt like you should know I’m his sister, I have no plans on being anything like him. Romeo and my father spent my life abusing me so honestly at this point I just want to find my mate and be happy.” she says softly.

“Just because you’re his sister doesn’t mean we think anything of you.” I say putting my hand on her shoulder.
“You are your own person and I hope you find your mate and you end up happy.” I say with a smile as she returns it nodding to me.
“Thank you Luna, I was really scared you might not accept me.” She says softly as i shake my head and smile.

“Come on you can come in my car with me, Alpha Evans is running with the rest of the wolves.” I say as she nods excitedly tossing a small patched up bag in my car, I pick a few of the other kids to take with Gemma and I. I help load the rest of the children, elderly and bags in to the other buggy’s and we’re on our way.
After we start driving I hear Alpha Evans howl loudly as the other wolves respond to him following behind.

I pull out my phone dialling Valerie and putting it on speaker as I focus on our bumpy ride. A few seconds later she answers and I hear her chirpy voice on the other side.
“Hey Luna are you guys on your way back?” she asks.
“Yes, can you please have the cooks prepare a buffet dinner?” I respond.
“Yes Luna of course, any specific requests?” She continues.
“No just a large variety, we have about 400 wolves with us.” I say as I think about our over powering 1500 plus pack members.

“Ok no problem, I have the warriors setting up tents currently, they should be done by the time everyone’s done dinner.” She says softly as we both hang up and I continue driving. My mind continuing to flash through the thoughts I had at the pack house, seeing the devastation Romeo had caused makes my whole body hurt.
