Chapter 103

Simon’s POV
“Before I start; Claudia, who will be able to shift into Amanda?” I ask her. I want to get clarification before we inject our defence strategy. “Everyone in this room” she answers me, after she spoke with Amanda.
“We are going to have all our defences concentrated around the two bunker entrances. The entrance on the Castle grounds and the entrance on the Sapphire moon territory” Brenda starts us off.
“According to the information given to us; there will be over 1000 people in the army they have produced. With everyone we have from our packs and the other packs, prides, covens and clans who have come to help, we have around 800 men. If we keep the concentration to these two areas; we should be able to withhold them from coming near us; by strategically placing Tim and Rick on the roof tops” Jeremy includes and I look over to where Claudia and Danny are sitting.
“I am Danny and Claudia’s protector. They will remain with myself and Henry. We will have the ladies in front leading the fight. I have never had an opportunity to be able to shuffle counterparts around before. I will work out how we can incorporate this into the fight” I conclude, with a few growls around the room.
“Why are the ladies leading the fight?” Matthew snarls, looking at me.
“We have worked out; Callum is very old school. He will not harm the ladies” Danny informs him.
“I will be on the Sapphire Moon territory, standing in front with Brenda, Chelsea, Raquel and Cynthia. Oliver will stand in front with Phyliss, Jade, Belinda, Denise, Lorraine and Sariah. Joanna will be in the bunkers co-ordinating the chaos in there. We have a few people in the bunkers ready to protect everyone if they get through” Jeffrey injects, giving me a smile.
“Dianna would like to be involved in some way” Jade informs us. “Crystal would like to, as well” Joshua adds to her comment.
“I have spoken with Dianna; I will speak with Crystal as well. I want them to stay in the bunkers. Although Callum’s ideology isn’t to hurt a female; Michael’s is very different and we know he will want to hurt the two ladies for just being here. They can help Joanna co-ordinate the defences for the entrances from inside the bunkers” I tell everyone.
“We want to start moving everyone to the bunkers directly after lunch. The carer’s will be there to look after the children. Everyone should be in position by dusk. They will be attacking on the full moon” Oliver informs us.
“What did you, Leon and Brett find out yesterday?” I ask Tim.
“They are getting ready to leave. The guards around the Diamond Moon pack were non-existent” Tim begins. “We saw cars packed full to the brim and Michael barking orders at people. We couldn’t hear what he was saying as we were too far away. We did see him; our eye sight is very good; but Tim and his way of doing stuff to make it easier for himself; got himself some binoculars” Brett includes, chuckling, while rolling his eyes at Tim.
“My theory is, they will be heading directly to the Silver Pride territory. And will most likely come today. They look as though they are packing up the Diamond Moon territory for a big move. If this is the case; we need to allow them to come and not tip them off we know their true intentions” Leon adds and Danny looks at me.
*“I know what you are thinking. Knowing where they are will be a benefit”* I mind link him and Henry. *“I agree”* Henry answers me.
“If they go to the Silver Pride territory; this will be a benefit. We know exactly where they are and where they will be coming from for the attack. I will have guards posted around the Sapphire Moon borders to determine when they will be on the move” Matthew announces, having the same thought as us.
“Now we have our strategies established; Simon, I want to go down to the training grounds with Milly, Sariah, Leon and Jeffrey. You will be teaching me how to shift. Everyone else; spend time with your family” Oliver says, holding back a small chuckle.
“Danny; Claudia, we need your help” “We’ll come too” Jade includes pointing to Henry and Claudia lets out a grunt as we all get out of chairs and head out the door.
“Why is everyone following us?” Claudia gasps. “Because it’s not often we see vampires or witches shifting and we want to watch” Todd chuckles as we walk into the training grounds.
“Just sit out of the way” I snarl at the group behind us as Henry, Oliver, Jeffrey, Sariah, Leon, Amelia, Danny, Claudia, Jade and myself head to the centre of the area.
**“How do I send you to someone else’s sanctuary?”** I ask Sebastian. **“I lock onto the sanctuary needed and go. I can sense everyone’s sanctuaries in their minds. I will start with Oliver’s”** Sebastian says, heading out of my mind.
I can see Henry, Danny, Jade and Claudia all talking with Kingsley, Jesse, Beatrice and Amanda. “Sebastian is already in my mind” Oliver calls out. “Beatrice is going to Amelia” Jade says. “Riah, Mandy is coming to you” Claudia adds.
“That leaves Jeffrey and Leon; Does Jesse have a preference on who he wants to give their first shift to?” Henry asks Danny. “No; anyone would be fine” Danny states. “Kingsley is going to you Jeffrey, send Jesse to Leon” Henry includes.
“Wow; this is freaky shit and I know freaky” Sariah giggles.
“First of all; we will start with the simple process of letting the wolves come forward. You need to give them control of your conscience. You will still see everything they see; they will be controlling your body. The wolves will help you” I tell them as I watch as all eyes glaze over.
Beatrice was first to speak; “well done, Milly” she states. “We need a haircut” Amanda announces through Sariah, moving her hands through Claudia’s hair. “I don’t know how many times I have to tell you; I’m not cutting my hair. End of discussion” Claudia spits at her and Amanda goes back into Sariah’s mind.
“Now you all have successfully allowed the wolves to come forward; with you fighting Sebastian a little Oliver…” “How did you know I was fighting to give him control?” he asks me.
“He’s, my wolf; I know” I chuckle before continuing. “As I was saying; now you have worked out how to give them control of your conscience; you need to give them control of your body as well. It will hurt for the first time and you will get used to it after the first few times. We will do this one by one, Oliver; you first.”
Oliver took his clothes off and moved to the side of everyone. It took a few minutes before we all heard the cracking sound of Oliver’s bones before he shifts and Sebastian leaps in the air and lands on all four legs as cheers were heard from the crowd. “Oh my, fucking God; that hurt” Oliver mind links us. “I did warn you” I snicker back at him.
“Leon; do you want to give it a go?” I call out to him as he takes his clothes off and his eyes glaze over. There was a little bit of a moan from Leon before he too; shifted into Jesse, who goes over to Claudia and gives her a lick on the face.
One by one, they shift into the wolves they have; Sariah was the last to shift and let out a scream before Amanda appeared. “You are so cuddly and soft” Claudia giggles, shaking her face in Amanda’s fur.
“There’s movement on the Silver Pride territory. Eli just mind linked me. It looks as though they came onto the territory during the night last night” Matthew calls out. “Brett; you were on guard duty last night. Did you see anything out of the ordinary?” Jeffrey asks, shifting back from Kingsley.
“Nope! I finished my shift at 1am; they must have come in after that” Brett answers as the rest of them shift back and I put my hand up to quieten the chatter down.
“It doesn’t matter; we know they are there. Let’s be vigilant and keep our wits about us and get ready for an attack. If they attack early; we have alarms for everyone to get to where they need to go. You will need to inform your packs etcetera, where to go and what they are doing. Let’s be prepared” I call out as everyone gets out of their chairs.
“Claudia, Danny, Henry, Matthew and Todd; can you all stay behind. I would like to do some one-on-one training with you all. We need to work out how to shift from one wolf to another. Once we figure it out; we will show the others” I call out as everyone else leaves the training facility.
