Chapter 29

Danny’s POV
“Where are we?” Cynthia asks us. “You are in my sanctuary” Amanda answers her; lying down on the ground. “Is this where you came when we were talking in the cell at the River Moon Pack?” Shaun asks me. “Yes, Claudia was trying to find out where we were” I answer, laughing at what happened.
“Amanda is a white wolf” Rick gasps. “Really? Amanda, did you know you were a white wolf?” Jesse mocks being surprised, laying down next to Amanda. “Todd found out about Amanda. This is why he became obsessed with Claudia” Dad informs Rick and Tim. “Everything is falling into place; regarding Todd. He’s still a fuckwit” Rick exclaims “Does James know about her?” Tim questions.
“Unfortunately, yes. It is very important Claudia has protection. She has already been kidnapped and tortured once before. We don’t want her to go through it again” Jason informs them. “And we all know how people react with the knowledge of a white wolf around the place” Cynthia adds, smiling at them.
“I can see why it’s important for you to protect Claudia. If Denise or Lizzy had a white wolf; I would do everything to protect them too” Rick says to us. “Now I can see the importance of the training” Tim adds.
“And we need you to take everything you need to learn, seriously” A voice comes from the side of sanctuary. “Goddess Selene” I call out, bowing to her. “Hello Danny” she smiles at me.
“Goddess Selene; it’s an honour” Dad says, bowing to her also. “Henry. You have done a wonderful job teaching Danny and your decision to have him become Alpha; he is ready” she smiles at him. “What do we owe the pleasure of your presence; Goddess?” Claudia asks.
“I came to see who will be protecting my precious children” she answers, looking at Amanda and giving Claudia and myself a wink. “This is Jason, our Betta. Cynthia, our Gamma. Simon, our Master Trainer and if Tim and Rick can take training and protecting Claudia and Amanda seriously; they will be our enforcers” I introduce each of them to Selene.
“We will” they both say together. “I’m glad to hear that. I understand you both regret your involvement of the wrongful accusations placed on Danny” Selene says, pursing her lips at Tim and Rick. “Yes Goddess” Tim answers her, lowering his head. “You will need to protect him; just as much as Claudia. Danny is a special child of mine also” she says to us and my eyes go wide with this information.
“You looked surprised, Danny?” she asks me. “I am, Goddess. There is nothing special about me” I tell her. “On the contrary, Danny. You know you and Anastasia were meant to reject one another; she did so, on the encouragement from Todd. When the rejection didn’t go the way, he wanted it to; he deliberately didn’t rechain you, on the hope you would leave. I was able to bring you and Claudia together, as destined” she says, smiling.
“What makes me so special?” I ask her; voicing my shock. “You need to say thank you and smile” Claudia nudges me. “Thank you” I smile at her. “Your heart is pure, Danny. You and Jesse are joined together for a reason. And Claudia and yourself are mated for a reason also” she tells us. “A reason I might be able to help with” another voice calls from the edge of the sanctuary.
We all look over to the edge; “Mum” I smile as she walks over; wrapping her arms around me. “Luna Rachael” Simon whispers as everyone else around us, gasps at her presence. “Hello Simon; it’s been a while. Thank you for trying to protect my little boy” she smiles at him. “I wish I had done it differently” he answers, bowing his head to her as she gives him a hug.
“Luna Janelle had a book; locked in a safe. It’s about our heritage as werewolves and is the key to explaining why you are all here together” Mum explains to everyone. “Does James know about the book?” Dad asks her. “I don’t believe so; even if he did, he wouldn’t be able to open the safe. There is only one person who can do that. He needs to be a direct descendant” she smiles looking at me.
“Luna Rachael; do you all mean we are destined to be together?” Cynthia asks her. “Yes; the book explains everything from when the first wolf and man came together. Why Goddess Selene bought about having wolf shifters and what you need to do to continue to live peacefully” she explains.
“Where is the safe?” I ask her. “It was in her house; behind the picture of Alpha Leo and Luna Janelle. With the fire; I am not sure if it is still there or if James had found it and had it removed. You will need to return and find the safe” she tells me.
“Does it involve other species; werecats, werebears, vampires and witches?” Simon asks them. “You will need to get the book in your possession. It will explain what you need to know” Mum smiles at him.
“I want to stress, how important it is for all of you to protect Danny and Claudia” Goddess Selene announces, looking around at the rest of the group. “I will make sure they are able to do so” Dad answers her. Both ladies smile and head back to the edge of the sanctuary, leaving once more.
“I knew you were special” Claudia smiles at me; “Thank you” I say, giving her a half smile as a flash of light sends us back to our room.
“Wow” Jason exclaims getting himself up of the ground. “Danny, Claudia; I will do everything you need me to do; to become your enforcer” Tim says smiling at us. “That goes double for me” Rick includes.
“Master Simon; are you up for the challenge to teach these two?” Dad smirks; nodding his head toward Rick and Tim. “I don’t know; it’s going to be extremely rigorous” Simon answers, grinning back at him. “We can handle it” the pair chime in.
“Jason and Cynthia; as my Betta and Gamma, it will be your responsibility to oversee their training and report back any and all downfalls they may have. You have; how long again, Snow Blossom?” “5 weeks and 3 days” Claudia answers. I smile at them “5 weeks ad 3 days to get yourself ready to be enforcers” I conclude to the room. “Consider it done” Cynthia tells me.
“Dad; Simon, we will need to get together to discuss, how we are going to get this book” Claudia exclaims. “Let’s get Tim and Rick where they need to be first; then we can look at getting the book, Luna Rachael was talking about” Dad answers her. “I agree; if we have to go into the River Moon Pack to get it; we all need to be at our best” Simon includes.
“Before Master Simon takes you both to the training compound; I want to make you aware of something first” I add to Tim and Rick. “We know. What we just experienced, needs to be kept quiet. Even from Denise and Chelsea” Rick answers me. I look at the pair; they are more in tune with their leadership abilities than I first thought. I look at Dad, Simon and Jason; they are just as shocked as I was with their statement.
“We aren’t as stupid as you think we are” Tim chuckles at our expressions. “We never thought you were stupid” Claudia gasps at his comment. “No; just underachievers” Dad laughs. “That is going to change, as of now. Tim, Rick are you ready to train? I’m not going to go easy on you anymore” Simon says to them.
“You were going easy on us?” Rick answers, exasperation in his voice as Jason and I laugh. “We will be there to train with you” Jason chuckles. My apprehension towards Tim and Rick disappeared with Goddess Selene and Mum’s presence. They know why it’s important for them to become our enforcers and I have to trust they will be the best protectors of Claudia and Sophia.
“Let’s get going” Simon says to Rick and Tim; “We’ll come with you” Cynthia adds as Rick, Tim, Simon, Cynthia and Jason head out of the room.
“What do you think?” I ask Dad as he gets up from his seat. “That is something you need to ask Jesse and Amanda. Both of them will know a bit more to what Rachael has told us” he answers. **“Tell him to stay”** Jesse tells me. “Dad, Jesse wants you to stay” “Amanda just said the same thing” Claudia includes.
“Ok” Dad smiles, sitting back down as Jesse comes forward. “Jesse, Baby wolf?” Dad asks in anticipation. “The book Luna Rachael was telling us about, explains everything in more depth. Centuries ago; there was a witch. Her name is Nesbeth. She called herself the queen of witches and warlocks” Jesse starts.
“Against the advice of Hecate, she would place Humankind under spells to do her bidding. Goddess Selene, Goddess Bastet and Goddess Artio decided to join humans with wolves, bears and big cats to help control Nesbeth. This is how werewolves, werebears and werecats began” Amanda continues.
“What does this have to do with us?” Dad asked them. “This is where the book comes in. It explains what we did to help stop Nesbeth” Jesse answers him. “We?” Dad asks surprised. “The book also explains the joining of myself and Amanda with the first humans” Jesse says to him.
“Why do we need to know this information?” Dad asks them. “We are not certain. There must be a threat we do not know about” Amanda answers him.
“We need to get the book; Jesse and I, only know what Goddess Selene has told us. When we were born again, we lost all knowledge held within the book. We need the book to explain everything and receive the knowledge once again” Amanda informs us. “Once the pup is born, we need to get the book from the safe” Jesse adds.
“I will make sure that is the case” Dad tells them as Claudia and myself come forward again. “We have a plan” Claudia says laughing. “Yes; after Sophia is born, we head to Grandma Nelly’s place to retrieve a safe” Dad adds “And I can see why, I am so special” I chuckle.
