Chapter 96

Claudia’s POV
“This sucks! Having to either sit around and not being able to go anywhere or go out with the rest of the ladies” Sariah says in the car as we all head out to the mall. “I know what you mean. I needed to pick up some more diapers for Sophia the other day; had to wait around for 2 hours, waiting for everyone else to be ready to go” I continue the complaining.
“Speak for yourself. I needed feminine items, to pack for the birth. I could have gotten you to get them when you got the diapers” Joanna mentions from the backseat of the car.
“We should be happy; Michael and Callum can’t take us, when we are together” Mum says, as she pulls the car into the mall parking lot. “Always the optimist. We’re going because you want to get your nails done” I snarl at her.
“What the fuck?” I yell, as we hear what sounded like gunfire. “Riah; go get Danny” we hear Cynthia scream before she gets cut off. Sariah mumbles something and walks through her porthole before everything goes black.
“Claudia, Joanna, Luna Jade; wake up” I hear a lady’s voice. “Claudia; you need to wake up” she says again. “Where am I?” I groggily ask her. “My name is Crystal. Michael is taking all of you to the Diamond Moon pack. He said; since you won’t separate, he was going to take all of you” she tells me.
I sit up, realising what’s going on and find myself chained to the backseat of a car as Mum and Joanna start to stir next to me and look around me to see if they took my phone. “Michael has his henchmen driving behind us in a another car; they took all your phones, if that is what you are looking for. We were told to get the four of you; but the witch left before they could grab her” she informs me. “Can you get us away from him?” I ask her, hoping she was going to do, just that.
“I was going to; but I can’t. He has placed explosives under both cars on a satellite remote. If I deviate from the GPS he has on the car; he will detonate them. He showed me this morning before we left to get you” she explains and my face drops.
**“Mandy; are you there?”** I ask; I can faintly feel her so I know she is in the back of my mind and I see her strut forward. **“I left as soon as someone threw the canisters at us. I’ve told Danny what’s going on and Sariah got there not before I spoke to him. Danny said they will be waiting at the Diamond Moon Pack by the time we get there”** she tells me.
“Is that what the gunfire sound was?” I mumble under my breath. “Yes; they were shooting at the others so we could let off the canisters. I was surprised as they weren’t supposed to. I imagine Michael wanted to keep everyone else away. I made sure they didn’t hurt them, before I set off the canisters. He said he got the idea to use canisters of chloroform, from an Alpha Todd” Crystal answers my question.
**“Fucking Todd; remind me to slash him a few times, when we get out of this predicament”** Amanda snarls. I look at Joanna, he better not have hurt the baby.
“Joanna; are you ok. They didn’t hurt the baby?” I ask, my eyes, narrowing down to her stomach. “Cameron Scott is fine. Lesley placed a barrier around him, before we passed out” she tells me, giving Crystal a dirty look.
“Michael and Callum keep their plans to themselves. I only catch bits and pieces of what’s happening. They haven’t heard from their inside source for a little over a week and needed to change tactics; or so, Michael said” she explains.
**“Mandy; I need to talk to Danny, Dad and Oliver. Are we able to get them?”** I ask her. **“I’m not sure. I can get Jesse to send me to his sanctuary. Tell him what Crystal just told us”** she answers me.
“Wait a minute” I tell her. “Crystal, I need to ask you something. Please don’t take this the wrong way. How much do you trust and believe in what Michael is doing?” I ask, releasing my aura slightly.
“Are you kidding me? I don’t. Why do you think I sent Kimmy to be with Joshy? Michael and I were never in a relationship. I know he told everyone; we were. He raped me on more than one occasion. After the third time, Milly would take over and barricade me. I was too scared to leave, until I fell pregnant. For the sake of the baby; I found the courage to go. Only regret I have; is not going home because he always threatened to kill my family, if I didn’t comply” she replies, a tear running down her face.
“Why did you go back?” Mum asks her, I can see she feels her pain. “I had to. Michael saw me the same day I followed Raquel to the Lovett Castle. He was having me tailed and I knew I had to let them take me, without Kimmy” she explains, her knuckles turning white on the steering wheel.
“How far away are we to the territory?” I ask her. “We have another 45 minutes to an hour of driving, why do you ask?” she answers, looking back at me through the rear-view mirror.
I smile at her; “I may be able to help get us and you away, before we enter the territory. Can you slow it down slightly; give me some time” I ask her. “I won’t hold my breath” she tells me and slows the car down.
**“Mandy?” “Hey, Honey Cakes”** Jesse replies. **“What the fuck? How are you in my mind?”** I ask him. **“Same way Mandy is in Danny’s mind. She said she heard everything. She didn’t want you to be left defenceless and surprise; I am here”** he tells me.
**“What is Dad and Danny doing to get us back?”** I ask Jesse. **“Sariah, Leon and Cody have sent them all down to the Diamond Moon territory. They are just waiting for the arrival of the two cars.”** “Crystal, are there any more cars, or is it just this one and the car behind us?” I ask her.
“It’s just the two of them” she answers; **“she’s helping?”** Jesse asks me. **“Yes; Michael was raping her; she doesn’t want to be there”** I explain to him.
**“I have a question; if you shift in my body, will you be white or will you be brown?”** I ask him. **“Is that what you are worried about? Shit, Honey Cakes; priorities?”** He answers me. **“You didn’t answer me?”** I huff at him, smirking. **“I will be brown”** he says, giving off a small chuckle.
“Crystal, how many men are behind us” I ask her. “4; they have handcuffed me to the steering wheel also and are driving behind us, to ensure we can’t escape. Michael really went over the top” she answers, letting off a growl.
**“Jesse; do you want to scare the warriors?”** I ask him, giving him a smirk. **“What are you thinking?”** he asks me. **“You are stronger and more skilled than Amanda. Although she can hold her own as you know. What if Danny shifts into Amanda and I shift into you when we get out of here. You can come out with me. It will keep them guessing who actually has the white wolf and you can kill the guys behind us”** I tell him.
*“Are you talking with Mandy”* Mum asks through mind link with Joanna. *“Jesse. He is with me”* I tell them and they both gasp.
“How can we stop, without setting of the explosives?” Mum asks Crystal, composing herself. “We can’t. Why do you ask?” she responds, looking at us again in the rear-view mirror. “We are trying to find a way to get everyone out before we enter the territory” Mum tells her, smiling down at me.
“I’m not allowed to have my phone, either. I can’t even call Michael for a toilet break” she tells me.
**“Honey Cakes, I am going back to Danny and tell him what you want to do. He may have a plan”** Jesse tells me. **“Hang on.”** “How much longer? And what entrance are we going in?” I ask Crystal. “20 minutes, give or take and the north entrance” she answers.
“Do you know if Michael will be there?” Joanna asks her, looking between us. “He will be; he wants to make sure we have the three of you and see you for himself. He wants to announce to everyone he has the white wolf in his possession and something about another mate” she tells me.
“I am not his mate” Mum snarls at her and Crystal jumps slightly. “Sorry” Mum includes, realising she was yelling at the wrong person.
“I have an idea; tell Danny I want him and Dad to go to the north entrance. If this works and we don’t get blown up; we should be able to stop out the front and be taken out of the car. I’m hoping Michael and Callum will see Danny shift into Amanda. I want him to shift into Amanda, in full view of everyone, when he sees the cars coming. Have them all second guessing themselves” I tell Jesse. “I hope this works” he answers as he disappears from my mind.
“Crystal, the men are going to come to the northern entrance. Hopefully, we will be able to shock everyone. He technically has the white wolf because Amanda is with Danny at the moment and I have Jesse; his wolf. It’s an ability Goddess Selene has given to both of us. They can go from one sanctuary to the other in our minds; if it is needed” I tell her and informing Mum and Joanna at the same time.
“You mean, you have a male wolf in your mind? Is that who you have been speaking to?” she asks me. “Yes; do you want to meet him? I can let him come forward to say hello” I ask Crystal and she thinks about it for a moment. “Can I?” she asks and I look at Joanna and Mum, who both nod at me.
**“Mandy said, this better fucking work”** Jesse says, coming back into my mind. **“Come forward and say hello to Crystal”** I tell him, smiling as he comes forward. “Umm, hello” he says and I start to giggle hearing Jesse’s voice come out of my mouth and Mum and Joanna cover their mouths.
“What’s your name?” Crystal asks Jesse, not sounding surprised a male wolf is talking through me. “Jesse; and what’s your bear’s name?” “Mildred or I like to call her Milly” she answers him as we turn another corner.
“We are almost there” she says and I come forward again. I look out the window and see Danny, Tim, Dad, Jason, Rick, Todd and Brett running toward the northern entrance as Crystal slows the car down in front.
*“Danny; demand to see me, Mum and Joanna”* I tell him through a mind link.
