Chapter 127

Claudia’s POV
I head back up to our room with Danny after we successfully helped Cody, Rodney and Hunter shift and get used to having a wolf with them. Simon made Cody shift into Sebastian to make sure he was able to do it; and to our surprise, it was like he had shifted all his life.
“I just don’t know why they are getting the counterparts to be able to move from sanctuary to sanctuary again” Danny says to me, taking a seat on our sofa. “And Kingsley; wow” he adds, grinning from ear to ear knowing Dad’s wolf is going to be with Oliver.
**“Claudia; I need to come forward. I have to mind-link Simon”** Amanda says to me before I could answer Danny and I allow her to come forward. *‘Simon, you need to get to your room now.’ ‘May I ask why? Amanda’* Simon asks in the mind link. *‘Just following orders,’* she responds retreating in my mind.
“That was weird” I say out loud as Danny looks at me concerned. “Mandy just ordered Simon to go to his…” “room” I huff as I am transported to the god’s chambers with Simon, Raquel, Phyllis and Sariah. “Did you get back to your room?” I giggle to Simon.
“I was already on my way there. I walked in and then I was here” he states, looking around him as Hecate, Apollo, Selene, Artio and Bastet walk into the chambers. “I’m going to have a headache when I go back because I didn’t even get a chance to sit down.”
“Sorry about that Simon; I needed you here and we couldn’t wait much longer” Selene says as Simon bows his head at her. “May I ask what this is about?” Phyllis questions, looking over at Bastet.
“You are heading to the coven” Hecate states, giving everyone a smile. “And when do we go?” Simon asks as Bastet shakes her head at him. “Not you Simon. You are here to help put the plan in place. The women will be going.”
“Oh, no!” Simon says as the god and goddess’s frown in his direction. “I am not going back to tell Danny, Leon, Belinda and Joshua their women are going to the coven alone. It’s dangerous and they are leaders; it won’t be good for me.”
“They won’t be the only ones going. It will be all the women. Chelsea, Cynthia, Amelia, Denise, and Joanna will be too” Selene says as Simon opens his mouth to object again. “And you will be coming up with a plan to get them in without making it look like you are.”
“With all due respect my goddess; It would have been hard with only the four ladies” Simon states, pursing his lips at Selene. “It will be that much harder if I was to add Oliver, Todd, Brett, Tim and Rick to the scenario. I know how they feel; if it was Lorraine going, I wouldn’t be allowing it either.”
“They have already had this discussion with me” Henry says, walking into the chambers with Mum, Uncle Cameron and Uncle Scott as I gasp. “Uncle Scott; what are you doing here?”
“Henry asked what I would do in this situation and I told him the same thing Simon has mentioned” Scott says with a chuckle. “Please to meet you, by the way. They asked me if I were to take away the aspect you were female; what would I do.”
“If I am looking at it as the men are going; I would make sure those without a counterpart has one. I am assuming that is why Kingsley is with Oliver. He is going to Milly” Simon states, looking over at Henry who smirks at him. “What about Sariah?”
“Laura will be going with her” Bastet states, smiling at Simon as he catches on to what they want to do. “Penelope’s panther will sense her and won’t allow her to be harmed.”
“From what we know; you have a way in” Apollo states as Simon nods his head. “Can we trust Campbell not to change his allegiance?” I ask knowing what he was talking about.
“He is loyal to Oliver and to me. He won’t let harm come to you if he can avoid it” Apollo answers as the rest of us in the room nod our heads at him. That is all I needed to know. I didn’t want to include Campbell in a plan if he was going to tell her or kill us because of her.
“Sariah; have you found the spell to stop any magic from harming you?” Hecate asks as Sariah nods her head. “I also have the spell to stop the teleportation in and out of the territory. If I am to go; I will be able to do it there and miss a particular area so the men can be teleported into the coven. I will place a cloaking spell around the area so they won’t recognise someone came onto the territory.”
“Good” Hecate says, giving Sariah a smile. “Laura will be with you for added protection.”
“What about us?” Raquel says, waving her hands between Phyliss and her. “We are sitting ducks because we don’t have additional abilities like Claudia and Cyndy.”
Bastet and Artio look at one another and wave their hands towards the two ladies. “Anything else you want?” Bastet asks as both Phyliss and Raquel shrug their shoulders. “I don’t feel any different” Raquel explains as Artio smirks at her.
“You both saw your ancestors?” Bastet asks, as the two women nod their heads. “You can do what they did” Artio states as Phyliss lifts her hands together and a fireball appear in it. “Wow” she states as Hecate rolls her eyes at the her.
“Joseph and Teancum thought it was cool I could throw fireballs or people away. That’s why they got that power. It wasn’t until Elouise was taken when Claudia got the power too” Hecate laughs as Raquel flicks her hand towards Simon and he freezes in position before she flicks it the other way to give him back his movement.
“And Lucas asked to paralyse people because bears aren’t as agile as a cat or cunning as a wolf. It stops their enemies in their tracks” Raquel states grinning from ear to ear. “We aren’t to tell anyone about this. We have flown under the radar as the chosen bear and cat shifter for this lifetime. I want to keep this knowledge to ourselves.”
“I was going to say the same thing” Simon states, standing up and stretching from side to side; making sure he was able to move. “I will confer with Jeremy and Jeffrey about having a plan in place. Claudia; can you gather all the women for a closed training session this afternoon around 2 and we will go over what we are to do” he adds.
“Does that mean you are on board with us doing what we need to?” I question Simon as he grunts a yes in my direction. “While you are at it; Claudia. Tell Chelsea, Denise and Joanna I will be seeing them before you go” Mum says giving me a hug and a flash of light sends me back to my room.
“I didn’t get to say goodbye to Dad, Uncle Scott and Uncle Cam” I huff out loud as Danny stops bouncing his leg for me to explain why I was sent to the god’s chambers. “Is that why you were taken to the sanctuary? To see Dad and why we have Kingsley?” he asks me.
“Not exactly” I tell him, my face going slightly red. I don’t want to tell him we are to go to the coven without him and the other men at first. “Goddess Selene and the others have a plan for us to go to the coven.”
“Oh, good. If we can get help from Goddess Selene. That will be an advantage” Danny says with a sigh of relief. “Um… Yeah about that” I say, as he narrows his eyes at me. “You’re not coming with us. It’s all us ladies including Joanna and Amelia”
“Over my fucking dead body” Danny yells as I get off the couch to head out the door. “Where the fuck are you going?” he snarls chasing after me.
I ignore him for a moment and open a mind link to Chelsea, Joanna, Denise and Cynthia. “We need to go have a closed training session with Simon at 2pm.” “Ok” Cynthia mind links back and I get a similar response from the others. “I’m going to see Amelia. We have a closed training session with Simon at 2 o’clock.”
It was Danny’s turn to ignore me as his eyes glaze over, mind linking someone. I guessed it was Oliver and maybe Todd. I head into the castle and run into Amelia walking out of her room. “Oliver is yelling at me via a mind link. Can I ask what this is all about?”
I pull Amelia towards her room and shut the door in Danny’s face. It didn’t stop Jesse coming into my mind as I put the mental block up and Amelia laughs, grabbing a piece of paper from the bedside table and writes on it; ‘Oliver just said he is listening in.’
I quickly take the pen from her. ‘Apollo, Selene and the others want us; the women to head to the coven to deal with Dorothy, Penelope and Josiah. We have a training session with Simon at 2pm. It’s not a secret. Danny has already tried to stop what the gods and goddesses spoke to Simon, Phyliss, Raquel, Sariah and I about.’
‘Do you want to put them out of their misery?’ Ameila writes as we both giggle when I shake my head at her. I open the barricade to a very annoyed wolf. Speaking out loud; “Jesse; Oliver and whoever else is listening in. We need to see Simon at 2 o’clock and we will discuss with you tomorrow our plans.”
After I said that; I open the door to have Todd, Tim, Rick and Danny fall through it as they try to listen to what was being said between Amelia and myself. I shake my head at them before walking over the top and out the doorway.
