Chapter 126

Simon’s POV
I’m teaching everyone to have a wolf again. Didn’t help matters Cody used magic on the marker pens so he, Hunter and Rodney could draw a moustache and goatee on a few of us. Leon had to counteract his spell to allow us to wash it off before we could go down to the training grounds as Sebastian comes forward.
**“I’m left with more questions than answers”** I tell Sebastian as we head down to the training grounds. **“I agree with you; things are not making sense. If Dorothy was Hades chosen; why go after the girls? Why involve, Michael, James or Craig? Why would Callum become king of all supernatural beings? It doesn’t make sense; or does it?”** Sebastian answers me, heading out of mind.
“What the fuck?” I whisper to myself, walking into the training grounds to see everyone waiting for me. “How can I teach someone to get a wolf if I don’t have one.”
*“Danny; I need you to help me”* I mind link him, taking a seat on a nearby bench. *“I thought you might”* he responds walking over to me.
“What’s going on?” Danny asks in a whisper as I get off the bench and head over to him. “Seb has decided to go AWOL. I need Jesse” I tell him as Danny stares at me in disbelief.
“Seb’s gone; what?” He asks me. “AWOL; Absent with…” “I know what AWOL means. I’m just trying to figure out how?” Danny responds, cutting off my explanation.
“Missing someone, Simon?” Oliver says, giving off a chuckle. “We were all left with questions after we got back and he has a theory and I think he needs to share it with everyone.” Before Oliver could move to stand next to us; Sebastian comes to the forefront of his mind. “Sorry Simon; I had to ask Oliver a few things first before we kept going with our train of thought.”
“A little warning would have been nice” I spit back at him as he gives a small chuckle back. Truth be told; I’m finding it really weird watching my wolf talk through Oliver. It’s one thing having him to learn with getting a wolf; it’s another to see him casually leave like it’s a thing.
“You know how we were discussing there’s more questions than answers; again” Sebastian says and I nod my head. “It’s not making sense and you spat out, or does it? Before you left” I state as Todd joins Danny, Oliver or Sebastian and myself.
“Yeah; we were thinking Callum didn’t want to hurt the woman? What if it was Dorothy wanted the ladies for a specific reason” Sebastian says as Cynthia and Claudia come over to listen in. “Why would she want us? For what reason?” Cynthia asks.
“Nesbeth wanted Elsie for her healing abilities” Claudia states coming into the conversation.
“And Dot wants Claudia for the same reason. She didn’t care what happen to them as long as they were kept alive” Campbell says coming over to us. “Sir, can I talk to you in private with that mind thing you do?”
We watch as Oliver’s and Campbell’s eyes glaze over. **“He received a text message from Dorothy. Now Callum is dead, she is using her brother to try and get what she wants. An existence where women rule. She wants the ladies to try and convince them they will be a force to be reckoned with”** Sebastian says, coming back into my mind. **“He said it’s his mother all over again and he didn’t want to be a part of it.”**
“It still doesn’t make sense. If she wanted us to be kept alive; why did Michael have explosives in the car when he took us?” Jade asks, coming over to join the conversation as the pair look at her in confusion. “Oh, and I have Kingsley with me. Apparently, Oliver you will have a wolf of your own for the duration. From what…” “Hi everyone” Kingsley says stopping Jade from speaking as we all gasp when he comes forward.
“I was allowed to come here to help. As much as I love being close to Bea; we decided Oliver, you can use me” Kingsley says as Amanda and Jesse come forward. “Pappa Wolf?” Amanda questions, a tear rolling down her face.
“Alexis” Kingsley calls out, giving Amanda a smile. “We know of all those that left to go back to the Sapphire Moon Pack Territory didn’t really want to fight. You and Josiah yelled at Michael about those who fled from the fight. Were there others? Henry told me to ask you.”
“I yelled that to let you know about Aunty Sally. I knew she would help you; I wasn’t sure if the others felt the same and hoped they did” Alexis states, glancing over at Cody. “Sariah; how many are in the coven they are seeking asylum from?” Kingsley adds, giving her a smile. I should have known Henry had a mini plan to find out some information.
“Around 100” Sariah answers coming over to the conversation. “And they may or may not have a few hundred followers from Michael and Callum?” I ask as Alexis who shrugs her shoulders.
“We could use Campbell’s messages from Dorothy as a way in” Claudia states, coming forward again as Oliver narrows his eyes at her. “You were allowed to eavesdrop, why couldn’t we” she adds with a giggle. I should have known she sent Amanda over to Oliver to see what was happening.
“That’s a possibility” Kingsley states as Danny nods his head before elaborating. He must have sent Jesse to Oliver too. “Dorothy is trying to get Campbell to help her by taking the women to her. She wants to convince them they should rule together. I don’t understand if she wants to have the women rule alongside her, why kill a skilled warrior as Brenda?”
“Because Brenda got in her way” Campbell spits glaring at the Danny. “Who else eavesdropped?”
**“Kingsley, Vincent, Carter, Parker, Gertrude, Naomi and Zephron”** Sebastian says to me as I let off a small chuckle. **“Oliver didn’t know we were all in his mind because he isn’t use to it.”** “Seems most of the leaders here. Kingsley, you may want to protect Oliver’s mind too as they all slipped in to see what was happening.”
Oliver shakes his head, smirking slightly; “I should have known” he chuckles.
“When one dies the rest will follow?” I murmur under my breath as Danny looks at me. “We can’t use our powers unless we are together” he adds, catching onto my train of thought and glancing over at Jade where Kingsley nods her head to state he understands. “It won’t work. If we send the ladies; they won’t be able to do Dorothy’s bidding, at least Amanda and Cyndy can’t since Chelsea and Denise don’t have additional abilities” I include to the rest of the group.
“But we will know where Danny, Jason and everyone else is. Isn’t that how you threw dad?” Claudia asks, turning to Danny. “You could throw him even though Tim and Rick weren’t with us because you instinctively knew where they were.”
“With Tracey and Alpha Henry dead; Goddess Selene won’t kill you off until the threat is taken care of; would she?” Todd injects, looking between everyone there. “No; we can still live a productive life. It’s more to do with our chosen wolves. If Tracey died at a young age; she would have been reborn straight away and would have been younger than the rest of us” Jesse explains coming forward.
“And our abilities are still there when someone dies because we can visit those who have passed in Mandy’s sanctuary” Carter explains, coming forward. “It’s only means we can’t defend like we can now with one of us gone” Mandy adds, coming forward.
“If Claudia was killed when she was taken at 16; we all would have died and been reborn at the same time. Danny would have probably died at the hands of James. Myself, Jason, Tim and Rick were no exception, we just wouldn’t have known why” Elanor says coming forward from Cynthia as Todd and myself growl. “Don’t shoot the messenger” she giggles as we calm down a bit.
“What does this all mean?” Todd asks, glancing between everyone.
“It means we can still protect your ass and will live afterwards” Tim states giving him a smirk. “But if I’m killed tomorrow; we won’t be as strong” Rick adds as everyone nods his head.
“Going to the coven is still dangerous and we need to be wary. Kingsley, head over to Oliver. Cody…” “Laura already got me to shift. It hurt a lot and she called me a cry-baby” Cody states, frowning at Alexis who giggles. “Is that how you got Amanda to move around from one person to the next?” Alexis asks everyone.
“Yes” Everyone answers laughing. “Although, Mandy and Jesse could do this previously. This was given to us last lifetime when Patrick got caught in the snowstorm. Jesse and Mandy would swap places so he could keep moving” Claudia states as nods were seen around the compound, realising how Patrick survived. “Jesse reminded me Amanda could come over when we first headed to the River Moon Territory in case, I needed her” Danny includes, giving everyone a smile.
Sending the conversation back to why we were there. “Rodney, Hunter it’s your turn to learn how to get a counterpart. Is there anyone who you want to shift into?” I ask them as they stand in front of me. They both look at one another before turning back to me. “Zephron” Hunter says as Rodney yells out “Jesse” at the same time.
Everyone takes their seats as Danny and Matthew step forward and I talk the two of them as they go through shifting for the first time.
