Chapter 135

Claudia’s POV
We are sitting at the dining room table. It’s 6.15pm and Dorothy, Penelope and Roland are waiting for Josiah to arrive before we are allowed to eat. “Where the fuck is he?” Roland shouts, glaring at Sariah, Joanna and myself. Jesse already came to us and told us of the plan they were doing. Let’s hope this works.
“How the fuck should I know?” I yell back at him. “We went for our walk from the edge of the territory all the way back to the house. He interrogated us about where some maid was. When he realised, we didn’t know; he left and went looking for her.”
“What is so important about this maid, anyway?” Sariah asks, glaring over at Roland. We know Roland knows she is related by adoption to Amelia. We are trying to give the impression that is all we know about her.
“Stop the bull shit. You know she is my mate and you are hiding her somewhere along with some of my men. Now you’ve taken Josiah” Roland yells back as the door to the mansion opens. “What is all the screaming about?” Josiah yells, coming into the room. “Sorry I’m late Dorothy; I’ve been searching the grounds for the missing men.”
“Jos” Penelope stands up and gives her son a hug. A small shudder goes down my spine when I look over to him. I never really noticed how much he looks like Christopher. Then again; I wasn’t really paying any attention to him.
“Well; did you find anything?” Roland seethes, glaring at Josiah.
“As a matter of fact, I did” Josiah laughs, taking a seat by me at the table. “I have found your missing men, Well pieces of them.”
“What do you mean?” Dorothy says, taking a gulp of the wine she had in front of her.
“They were scattered around the territory” he says with a shrug. “I found your maid too. Although; she is alive and well. I hate to tell you this; she is mated to someone else.” Amelia let out a gasp, pretending she didn’t know anything about it.
“WHAT?” Roland screams; kicking his chair behind him as he stands up. It goes crashing to the ground, breaking into pieces. “WHO THE FUCK DID SHE MATE WITH? I WILL ABLITERATE HIM WHERE HE STANDS.”
Josiah rolls his eyes at Roland. “Good luck with that. Even though he is 17; he is a stronger warlock than you will ever be. He has hidden her on the territory. I couldn’t get to them but I could watch from a distance” he exclaims looking over at Sariah. The plan was put into place to say Cody had mated with Chasity because had a mate mark on his neck from Alexis. If we can't get them there without incident; we would have Cody lure them there. The other hope is they won’t hurt us because they think we still have the loyalty spell on us.
“How do you know he is 17?” Penelope asks, glancing between Roland and Josiah.
“Because he is her son” Josiah states, pointing at Sariah. “That’s how I know he is a stronger warlock too” he adds.
“What is your son doing here?” Dorothy hisses towards Sariah. “I’m assuming he was coming for me and found his mate. I haven’t seen him” she states through clenched teeth.
“Where are they?” Dorothy yells, getting out of her chair. “At an old abandon shack near the south border” Josiah answers.
“Bring them” Dorothy shouts to Josiah, Jeffrey and Campbell before heading out the door, Penelope and Roland following behind her. We all get up from our seats and head out the doorway. “For goddess’s sake; here” Sariah says, conjuring up a porthole. They look at her hesitantly; “I can’t betray you, remember? It leads to the south border. Although, we never saw an abandon shack there. It must be well hidden” she adds.
“It is” Josiah states as Dorothy, Penelope and Roland step through the porthole and it closes behind them. “That was easy” Denise laughs as we head towards the southern border.
“Who’s at the cabin?” I ask Josiah, as we all stop to look at him. “Everyone” he states, a grin appearing on his face.
“Everyone?” Cynthia questions, staring at Josiah. “Yes, including Oli. Kingsley is over there now” Amelia voices as we all start heading over to the cabin again.
“You’ve mated with Chasity?” I ask Josiah as we walk slowly through the wooded area. “Not yet; but I am more hopeful than I was a few weeks ago.”
We were halfway to the cabin when Jesse comes into my mind. **“You missed all the theatrics, Honey Cakes”** he says as I stifle a laugh. **“We’ve taken them back to the castle. Have Sariah bring you back”** he includes before heading out of my mind again.
“Since Oli had Kingsley, Sebastian just came to me and told me they’ve taken the three of them back to the castle” Amelia states and I nod my head towards her. “Jesse just told me the same thing” I agree.
“No need to keep walking then” Sariah states, moving her arms taking the no transporting spell from the area before opening a porthole to the castle in front of us. We all walk through and Danny races over to me and puts his arms around me. All the men do the same thing to their mates.
“What happened?” Raquel asks, looking into Joshua’s eyes. “They came through the porthole and we grabbed them. By the time they realised what had happened; it was too late. Tim and Rick had cuffed them and we bought them back here” he explains and Josiah smiles again as Chasity comes over to him.
“Now that’s taken care of, do we live happily ever after?” Danny asks me, giving me a kiss on the side of my head.
“Until the next time we are needed” I reply as everyone else around us starts laughing. “At least we can live out the remainder of this life without having to worry about people trying to kill us anymore” Jason adds, coming over to us.
“Maybe; Maybe not” Tim says with a shrug. Chelsea elbows him in the stomach as we all laugh at him. “For now; let’s enjoy the life we have and head back to our territories” Todd exclaims and we all nod our heads and start to walk back to the packhouses to plan our trip home.
I take a few steps and Danny stops to look at Josiah and Chasity; “would you like to come with us to our pack?” he asks the pair.
“I don’t know if I can” Josiah says, looking in the direction Oliver, Amelia, Jeffrey and Campbell went. “We could always ask” Chasity includes, putting her arms around Josiah as they both leave to follow them through the castle doors.
We head up to our room and I take a seat on the bed; “Is Sophia with Mum?” I ask Danny. “Mmm-Hmm” he says, kissing the side of my neck. I let out a moan. Even though I want to see my baby girl, I also want to spend time with Danny.
“She’s bringing her back in an hour” Danny says, lifting my shirt over my head and starts to trail kisses down my chest. “In the meantime, I think we need to rectify the need I have for you.”
“And how are you going to do that?” I ask seductively, grabbing his pants and pulling them down in front of me. His cock standing erect in front of me.
Danny leans in so his mouth is close to my ear. “By fucking your brains out, over and over again” he whispers before pushing me back onto the bed and climbing on top of me.
