Chapter 133

Claudia’s POV
It’s been 2 days since we were held captive, without getting any information. Sariah was shocked to hear what had happened with Chasity and we slowly revealed more and more things to her. One main part was Oliver wasn’t really dead and she found out when she visited the cabin to find him there with all the men. Needless to say; he had to calm her down a little because she thought Danny and Todd were there to kill her.
Leon took her back to the kingdom when he left. That gave us an idea to slowly deplete their enforcements. Sariah would open a porthole and whoever was following us would enter the porthole and be quickly taken by one of the men. Let’s just say; they never returned.
The other surprise; Dorothy left us to our own devices, thinking we were being followed. The only thing we were required to do was to have dinner at 6pm sharp every night with Roland, Dorothy, Penelope and Josiah. There was no conversation; even though one of us would try to initiate a conversation. Dorothy would simply tell us; dinner time is for eating, not speaking.
We had decided have Sariah take us to the cabin in groups of two or three. That way it didn’t look so obvious. “Are you ready to head over?” Sariah says, coming into my room and shutting the door.
“Where are you conjuring the porthole today?” Joanna asks, coming into my room also.
“I think we need to make one in front of Roland. It might help explain why his favourite maid is no longer around” I state, giving everyone a smile.
We open the door; “I don’t know where she is. Another three people have gone missing too” we heard Roland screaming at someone. “What do you mean; disappeared. You said she can’t leave what kind of shit are you trying to pull” Josiah yelled back. “I will find her myself since your men are too incompetent to do it. Even if I have to follow the ladies around to see where she’s hiding.”
**“Change of plans. We will do it in front of Josiah”** Laura says quickly in my mind before leaving again.
**“Jesse?”** I quickly question to make sure he heard. **“I’m heading to Danny now”** he replies, walking out of my mind. “Let’s do this” I whisper to Joanna and Sariah as we walk past Roland and Josiah to head out the front of the mansion.
“Where do you think, you are going?” Josiah yells, grabbing my arm.
“Let go of me. I can’t leave so we decided to go for a walk” I spit back at him, ripping my arm away from him. “If you want to go with us, all you have to do is ask. Sariah, teleport us to our meeting area.”
“Oh Kay” Saraih says, pronouncing every syllable before opening up a porthole. “Roland did you want come too?” Roland looked shocked Sariah just opened a porthole before he shook his head mumbling under his breath. “Ready to go?” she added to Josiah.
“I’m going first” he spits, walking through as I smirk and give Joanna and Sariah a wink before heading through the porthole myself. “What the fuck?” Josiah yells as I reach the other side of the portal.

Danny’s POV
**“Josiah is coming through the porthole. Get ready”** Jesse says racing into my mind. “We have to get ready; we have a big fish coming to greet us” I tell Todd, Rodney, Cody and Brett.
Before we could all get into position, Josiah walks through the porthole close to Todd and Brett. Thankfully they were able to quickly ascertain him. “Surprise, Asshole” Todd screams as Claudia, Joanna and Sariah walk through behind him. “You really thought we would allow the ladies to come here without backup?”
“How the fuck did you get here without anyone knowing?” Josiah seethes, trying to struggle free from Todd’s grasp.
“Todd, play nice” Claudia states, taking a seat on my lap. “Considering he can’t mind link out of this room. He is suffering a little.”
“That and he will be disappearing next” I add, smirking towards Josiah and raising my aura around the room. Todd and Claudia increase theirs too. Josiah’s legs buckle beneath him and hits the floor with a loud thud. “Who do you have working with you?”
“No one” Josiah murmurs. I look over at Rodney and shake my head.
“That seems unlikely, given you had over 1000 people trying to fight us not long ago. I know we caught most of them that were fighting; including yourself” Rodney says coming forward. “We have added Campbell and Jeffrey to our search. And trust me, they are going to pay for taking my mother. But you; you can do the right thing and tell me who you have working for you and we will spare your life.”
“I will tell you everything you need to know. But you need to answer my questions first” Josiah says, dropping his head a little. “Is my sister really locked up and you took her panther?” he asks, turning his attention to Sariah.
“No” Sariah chimes in, stifling her giggle. “I would like you to meet Cody. My son and Lex’s mate. Laura came to me, on her own free will.”
“W…What? H… How?” Josiah gasps, looking between Cody and Sariah.
“Same way Amanda was able to shift between different people” I tell Josiah, trying not to roll my eyes. “We are Selene’s chosen dumbass. Dorothy doesn’t know everything about us and if you think you are going to have the opportunity to tell her; think again.”
Claudia places her hand on my arm to calm me down and I take a deep breath, counting to 10. “Josiah, do you want to follow Dorothy and your mother?” she questions him. “There is three Alpha’s in this room, you won’t be able to lie even if you wanted to” Brett includes as Josiah’s shoulders drop for a second. I wouldn’t have noticed if I wasn’t paying attention to him.
“Mum says it’s my right now Dad is gone” Josiah snaps, refusing to look at anyone.
“If your mum said you were a Martian, do you believe her?” Cody shouts, moving over to Josiah and punches him in the face. “Cody!” “No mum. The fuckhead raped his own daughter and the bitch he calls his mother never did anything to stop him” Cody shouts, cutting off Sariah’s protest.
“Lex lied abou…” “Did she?” I intervene as Rodney holds Cody back. “Or you only want to believe she lied.”
“I don’t know” Josiah whispers dropping his head. “I don’t know” he says a bit louder, keeping his head down. “You want to know who is helping us? No-one. The reason we had all those people was because Dad and Callum either threatened everyone to comply or promise them something. They offered the same thing; power. Some fled beforehand, while others left after they were caught. Having the ladies here was her last effort to get what she wanted; to be queen of everyone.”
Our mouths dropped open at the revelation. **“I can’t believe this asshole is telling us everything we want to know”** Jesse exclaims, stalking around in my mind. **“He’s keeping something back”** I remind him.
“Lacey?” Rodney says and we all snap our heads to him.
“Your mate isn’t in any danger” Josiah states, glancing over at Rodney. “ She won’t go after your mate on one condition and only you can give it.”
“Which is?” Todd remarks, grabbing onto Josiah tighter.
“I will help you, for a full pardon” Josiah states, looking around the room. *“Is he telling the truth?”* Rodney asks through the same mind link his father had. He asked Apollo and was given the ability. *“I can’t hear any deception in his voice. But he isn’t telling us something”*
“Why do you want to help us now?” I ask Josiah, narrowing my eyes at him. “Is it because you were caught?”
He shakes his head at my question. “Like Lex, I didn’t really want what Mum and Dad where chasing. I only wanted them to be proud of me and I did everything they asked to get that approval. I’m sorry for all the part I played in all of this” he sighs before turning his head to Cody. “It’s strange how Lex is mated to a warlock. My mate is a witch and like hell I’m letting Roland have her. You’ve taken her somewhere, please tell me where she is?”
“What the fuck?” Claudia gasps, staring between Sariah and Joanna. “Your mate is Chasity?”
“Yeah” Josiah states, his cheeks going red. “I can’t tell mum or Dorothy. I sure as hell wasn’t going to say anything to Roland; though I want to tear his head off. When I met her, I wanted to run away with her and start a new life. She told me I could go fuck myself and tried to reject me. I ran before she could do it. I’m hoping I could give her a chance to accept me.”
*“I knew she was holding something back. Milly could sense it too”* Claudia states through a mind link. “She never told you? You didn’t hurt her, did you?” Josiah snarls, his eyes going dark with rage.
“She’s my cousin. I would have killed them if they harmed her” Rodney yells, coming over to Josiah who sighed in relief before looking confused at what Rodney just said. “She didn’t tell us. Sariah removed the curse on her so we could take her back to the kingdom. We will send you there and then; if she accepts you and you help us out, we will talk about a pardon.”
“Mum and Dorothy will know something is up if I’m not back for dinner tonight” Josiah says, looking around the room. “Not our fault you ran into some unfriendlies on your travels to find the missing maid” I interject as Cody opens a porthole and the men step through it, leaving Sariah, Joanna and Claudia in the cabin.
