Chapter 110

Danny’s POV
“I don’t get it. Why would Michael, Penelope and Josiah concoct a plan to see who goes and helps Eli. It’s not as if they can get Claudia and Amanda. They are locked up in a cell” Todd says to Dad and I, coming out of the castle.
“It wasn’t a matter if they can get her. They wanted to be sure Amanda was Claudia’s wolf. They didn’t know who actually had her with the number of times she shifted. As an unexpected attack; they were able to distinguish, if in fact Claudia was the one with Amanda and not someone else” Oliver says, coming up behind us.
“They still don’t have the opportunity or means to get her…” “Opportunity to get her. No, they do not. Means? This is entirely different. We didn’t get everyone and although we have more territory patrols; it doesn’t mean someone cannot come onto the territory to take her. Oliver did kill Callum, but just because he is dead doesn’t mean we are at the end of what we are doing. Michael and his fucked up, mental capability; have people everywhere. Hell; the fact they were arguing about going after those that fled could be a rouse. They could have planned all of this” I snarl, interrupting him.
“We need to check up on Honey Cakes” Jesse says to me. “Where do you think I am going? To the grocery store?” I spit at him. “Drop the anger iss…Fuck it” he snarls at me and pushes me back into my mind again. I wish he would stop doing that; I can control my temper. “Don’t fucking look at me like that, asshole. You told me to do it because you don’t trust yourself not to kill anyone who goes near them.”
“When; Jesse? When have I ever told you to do this? And why would I tell you do this?” I seethe at him, trying to remember if and when I supposedly told him, as I try and push my way back out and fail. “Technically; it was Teancum who told me to do it. And as you are him; you told me” he snarls, still not letting me have control. “And stop trying to come back out. I will barricade you.”
“Dan..Um Jesse; let me guess, he lost his temper again? Let him come back out again” Dad says and Jesse smirks at him, letting me come forward.
“Bloody wolf; pushing me out because of something I asked him to do, 1500 years ago” I snarl. “Watch it; I’ll send you back again” he huffs at me as we reach my room and I roll my eyes at him.
“Snow Blossom?” I call out, coming into our room. She is sitting on the sofa, holding Sophia, crying. “Sweetheart? Are you ok?” Dad questions, coming in behind me.
“I fucked up” she sobs into my chest as I come over to her and wrap my arms around her and Sophia. “No, you didn’t” Todd says, coming in behind me.
“Yes, I did. I should have told Danny to go over there. I should have known Michael would still try and come after me; regardless of where he is” she screams at him.
“Snow Bloss” “Danny, let me” Todd interrupts me, putting his hand on my shoulder. “Claudia; when I wasn’t thinking straight because I was told the wrong information. I wanted you because of Amanda” he starts and Jesse let’s out a growl.
“What I am trying to tell you” he continues, ignoring me. “We were all in the dark about your special abilities or as Dad called them your extra powers. Michael probably knows more than most and since I have been with you; I have learnt your abilities are together with Danny’s, Jason’s, Cyndy’s, Rick’s and Tim’s. You are all the same. You need one another. You are a team and Michael doesn’t know about it. You didn’t fuck up at all. You only showed him what he thinks he needs to see; he hasn’t seen if he takes you; Amanda and yourself can’t do anything because you need the rest of them” he explains to her and I give him a puzzled look; my mouth gaping open.
“I don’t understand” Claudia answers him.
“Come on! You can’t say you didn’t know Amanda, Jesse, Parker, Carter, Elanor and Seth are individual parts of whole? Think about it” he tells her and I look at Dad for guidance.
“He’s right. Danny; you weren’t able to throw me until Amanda was near you. We knew about Baby Wolf’s healing power; only after you tried to stab yourself. She did try and heal Cameron and Scott beforehand but couldn’t. Amanda could communicate with Goddess Selene; we didn’t know how until the pair of you were sent to her sanctuary and the rest is history. He is correct in every sense of the meaning. The pair of you, Jason, Cynthia, Tim and Rick; need each other to survive and each of you are a small part of that whole” Dad explains further.
“If Michael takes Claudia and expects her to do what she does; he will find out fast she won’t be able to. She can only do this when you are all working together” Oliver includes and I think back to what Goddess Selene said to us after I threw Dad. “I knew where Tim and Rick were and knowing where they were allowed me to throw Dad on his ass” I whisper and Dad gives a small snarl.
“They didn’t know what they could do, until they put their hand on the book. It should have been the same way for us; but Christopher and Alfie took Claudia and you tried to kill yourself. Goddess Selene gave my abilities early because of it” Amanda says; coming forward.
“What do we do with this information?” I ask around the room.
“We use it to our advantage” Todd exclaims; narrowing his eyes at me; as if to say I should know what I am doing and Dad puts his hand on my shoulder. I look down at Dad’s hand and then at Amanda.
My memories of our past lives are the same. When one of us dies; the rest of us will come to our demise. I am unaware of how or why because Claudia and I are normally the first two to go. Yes; we were alive for a little while after we killed Marcus but we were all together in this time and Heather and I died together in a freak accident.
“If I remember it correctly; we had just visited Oliver and we were heading back to our pack when… Wait! The Sapphire Moon Pack; although it was The Blue Moon pack then. It was our pack; which means…” “It doesn’t mean shit; unless we ask him” I interrupt Jesse and look directly at Oliver, who is smirking at me as though he knows what we were discussing.
“It’s about time you figured it out. Matthew’s known, since you told him about Heather and Patrick. He’s loyalty was always with you” Oliver chuckles and I shake my head at him. “Were you listening into our conversation?” I spit at him; trying to think if he could do this or not. “No; I can’t do that and you know it. I could see the cogs ticking in your head” he answers me and I could do nothing but smile.
“What have you figured out?” Todd demands and Claudia gasps as she too figures out what we are thinking.
“When did the Sapphire Moon change its name from the Blue Moon Pack?” Claudia asked Oliver. “Your son changed it, not too long after you both died from the rock slide and he took over as Alpha. I thought you would have noticed the cavern had been filled in” he answers and Dad gives a smile as he catches on.
“You are all talking in riddles” Todd huffs and falls down on the sofa.
“Todd; Matthew is our, what? Great Grandson?” Claudia giggles and Todd’s mouth gapes open to the knowledge and Oliver’s eyes glaze over.
“He is on his way. He said it’s about time. He didn’t know how much longer he could stop himself from calling you gran pappy and gran nan” Oliver chuckles and Claudia rolls her eyes.
“We are getting off topic. What are we going to do in regards to Michael?” I announce and Todd shakes his head. “You throw this at me and you want to discuss Michael. You can’t be serious right now?” he injects as Matthew walks through the door.
“Gran Pappy; Gran Nan” he smiles giving Claudia a hug and I sit down next to Todd.
“We need to sort out this mess; once and for all” I whisper to Todd.
